- Upgraded the game engine, improving performance and making gameplay more intuitive - Added many more branches to campfire discussions, to improve their continuity - Added several new secret weapons and armor - Added more poems into the game
💨 Changes:
- Fixed some issues in Barbaz dialogue - Added more options in Barbaz dialogue - Fixed various line width issues in dialogue - Added some easter eggs within some secrets (the mouse hole goes deep) - Added more content and personality into secret routes around midgame - Nue no longer reassures Barbaz citizens during low equality - Keyboard icons in menus are easier to understand - The top of the ladder can now be inspected - Added more texture into various maps - Made the world map more accurate - The rebels now have a wolf tamer - Explosions are slightly slower
⚔ Combat updates:
- Added a flinch animation when taking damage - Rebalanced stone golem to be more interesting - Some secret bosses have some more secret tricks up their sleeve - Skeleton guards are no longer trivial to beat, even for highly leveled parties - Adjusted elemental strengths/weaknesses of several enemies to be more intuitive - Adjusted Garik's level-up skill learn curve to compliment the other characters better - Nerfed in-battle MP regen slightly, to balance the buffs to battle start MP regen
🐛 Bug fixes:
- Barbaz tent is now inspectable - Scripted combat events should be more consistent now - Accessory stat comparisons are now much more intuitive - Fixed some outdated labels when hovering over status effects - Autosave no longer happens when opening the menu, allowing loading after a game over - Enemies no longer move during dialogue and events, making it easier to sneak some chests - Credits no longer crash on unknown rig setups - our deep apologies to anyone affected
👨💻 Known issues:
- Playing on a controller or mouse doesn't show appropriate menu icons - Some CPU/GPU combinations may suffer from stuttering in battles with Steam Overlay enabled. Please get in touch if you still encounter this!

Mineralis 1.19 - "True Garik" update out now!
Hey everyone,
We're super grateful for all the interest in Mineralis, and happy to announce the True Garik update! This time we mostly focused on improving the midgame balance and low equality routes. There's also a ton of new branching dialogue and secrets!
- A lot more branching dialogue now affects or is affected by equality - Low equality routes provide additional depth to Garik's story - All hidden routes have new content and more polish - Mouseholes have a deeper meaning to them - Hidden routes affect dialogue sooner
💨 Changes:
- Jessie reacts to choices made in one of the neutral routes - Individual equality changes are smaller to balance out their added frequency - Minor grammar fixes to the newest route - You can snoop around more places now - Added more interesting remarks to most tents - More NPCs react to you trying to enter their tents - Reactions to tents sometimes change depending on equality - Reactions to stealing depend on equality - Changed wealth level of Barbaz Inn from gorgeous to ordinary - Some new easter eggs and secrets we can't reveal yet
⚔ Combat updates:
- Focus bonus damage 33% -> 15%, as it caused mass spells to unintentionally ignore magic armor - Endure scales less with Magic Attack, to balance Garik gaining CP from it since 1.18 - Several bosses have 5-10% higher hit rate, to prevent the goblin stick from breaking the game entirely - Several spellcaster troops now have additional threats - Many midgame troops gained improved grades and skills - Changed hole digger goblin from rogue to an unique goblin mage
Burn and bleed were made more common in 1.18, so we adjusted them appropriately:
- Burn attack reduction 8% -> 7%, damage per round 16% -> 14% - Burn damage per round for bosses 10% -> 8%, super bosses 6% -> 5% - Bleed defense reduction 20% -> 15%, damage per round 20% -> 18%
🐛 Bug fixes:
- The cat can no longer be saved multiple times - Fixed an accidental map transition on a specific tile in a specific map - Barbaz elder can no longer fight after being knocked unconscious - Kazar kids no longer reset their running path after talking to Kim - Fixed rare graphical glitch with overlapping corner tiles - Autosave no longer happens when entering the menu, to prevent mistakes after game over

- Accessory stat changes are compared to first accessory slot - Playing on a controller or mouse doesn't show the appropriate icons - Some CPU/GPU combinations may suffer from stuttering in battles with Steam Overlay enabled.

Mineralis release and update to 1.18

We are super excited to let you know that as of 2022-10-20 10:20:22 pm JST, Mineralis is released on Steam!

We also updated the game to version 1.18:
💡 New features:
- Added the final hidden endings - Major improvements to low and neutral equality routes - Major improvements to enemy battler AI. Especially Kospistan is more challenging now
💨 Changes:
Nue combat revamp:
- Changed Magic Missile Tri to hit random enemies - Changed adult Nue to have a weak stunning attack instead of Magic Missile Tri - Changed adult Nue to have Fire Demon instead of Flame Swarm, making her more versatile overall - Changed normal attacks to ignore 20% more armor and have no element - Changed adult Nue normal attack to have magical damage component; now it's not entirely useless
Enemy rebalancing:
- Adjusted stats of extra bosses - Adjusted stats of Mobius Village boss - Made midgame and lategame enemies more challenging - Adjusted weak enemy troops to have more balanced variations - Adjusted goblin troops to be more complex and challenging - Adjusted many enemies to have less HP but start their strong attack patterns earlier
Map, dialogue and engine improvements:
- Improvements to the map layouts and shadows - Replaced a lot of autotile trees with unique tree sprites - Made the characters appear closer to the center of borders on map transition - Added equality choices to discussion with Kim - Changed Cantanish Memo to have custom fonts - Added more inspectable items into lategame areas - Added even more dialogue branches in midgame - Updated all core engine scripts, with a slight improvement to performance - Improved ending text and visual effects - Improved button hints and tutorials - Added a lot of secrets, as usual

- Fixed problems with demo save file transfer - Improved movie file framerate - Fixed several bugged animations - Enemies no longer track you while opening a chest

❓ What's next:
We're planning to improve the controller and mouse support, improve some of the visuals, and add more post-game content. We're also excited to address feedback from players and keep tweaking the combat and dialogue in our quest to spiral towards perfection.
If the game does well, we may start looking into translations and possible releases on other platforms. There are some other exciting announcements planned, so stay tuned!

Regarding the demo save file transfer
Hey everyone!
After extensive testing, we found that there are limitations when transferring save files from Mineralis demo over to the full game. If you have played the demo already, you can try one of the following to transfer your save:
Launch the demo and save your game once before purchasing the full game. This should work in most cases.
OR
Make a backup of the save directory from the demo's local files. After purchasing Mineralis, you can then copy the directory into the full game's local files. All skills and data is automatically converted to the full game's format upon launch.
We apologize for not being able to offer better solutions right now, and are grateful for your support and understanding.

The latest update to Mineralis is now live! This affects both demo and preview versions of the game. The changelog is as follows:
💡 New features:
- Mouse handling improvements (although keyboard/controller is still recommended) - More possible discussions and dialogue options in all parts of the game - More tents, barrels, and other objects can now be examined - Secret bosses have more secret features - Added more poetry secrets to Kospistan
💨 Changes:
- Garik now gains 5 CP from giving buffs - Reduced Blind effectiveness 50% -> 40% - Increased Focus base damage boost 0 -> 6 - Increased Flame conjuration base damage 2 -> 8 - Chainblast deals extra damage to enemies with low HP - Burn now shows 14% attack reduction on hover tooltip - Changed Nue regular attack to partially ignore magic defense - Early-game enemies now are less likely to have major/minor variations - Adjusted enemy gold drops (overall slightly more generous) - Made most enemies smarter with their buff/attack patterns - Buffed Stone Knight, Masked Warrior, Dragon, and Charger - Debuffed Sylph and Goblin Wizard
