-NEW BOSS: The โ ๏ธ GIGA BEAMER โ ๏ธ This boss can be encountered in the second bossfight after defeating wave 10, and should be quite the formidable foe!
-The new boss introduces a new debuff: ๐ Sticky ๐ This will slow your movement speed and cripple the recharge rate of your combat roll. When afflicted with this debuff, you have to time your combat roll perfectly, use it too early and you're toast!
-Ammo UI has been reworked for greater back-end flexibility, this should fix issues related to the ammo bar getting messy at high ammo counts
-New Visuals for Rusty Magnet, Mineral Scanner, Unstable Isotope, Whispering Lantern, and Burning Enemies
-Added special art for stunned detonator enemies
-Shortened "Elder Plasma Spitter" to simply "Elder Spitter"
-The game no longer exits you from a store when you Alt+Tab or Shift+Tab

-Shotgun Tightened projectile spread by +27% This should make it significantly easier to do higher damage without needing to be in point blank ranges to enemies
-Custom Minisentry Increased projectile speed by +75% This allows the minisentry to hit moving targets easier, which helps it deal damage better damage when it's alone
-Scrap Efficiency (Passive) Scrap back from armor purchases in shop increased +25% -> +50% Small buff to make this aspect of his passive a bit more impactful
Drillminer
-Drillmine Launcher Reduced base firerate by -6% Increased drillmine explosion radius by +15% Small Stat tweak to lean the drillminer into his strengths as an AoE damage dealer

-Royal Jelly ๐ Bee targeting range reduced by 25% (New range: 5) Bee damage reduced 30 -> 20 Bee recharge time reduced 2 seconds -> 1.25 seconds NEW: Bee recharge time now reduced by an additional 0.15 seconds per stack
-Tasty Honeycomb ๐ฏ Bee targeting range reduced by 25% (New range: 6.5) Bee damage reduced 30 -> 20 Bee recharge time increased 1.25 seconds -> 1.5 seconds NEW: Bee recharge time now reduced by an additional 0.35 seconds per stack
Previously the Tasty Honeycomb was essentially a direct upgrade to the Royal Jelly, it had a higher bps (bees per second) and could fire bees onto enemies from nearly double the range of the Jelly. It also didn't help that stacking them was neat but not that interesting.
Now, the Royal Jelly will have superior bps in the early game, with the condition that you need to remain closer to enemies to fire out the bees, when compared to the Tasty Honeycomb. But, if you gain multiple stacks, the Honeycomb will surpass the Jelly in sheer damage. Both of these items will also benefit from scaling considerably better with additional stacks now that the bee recharge rate is improved by them.
The range adjustments also make the Jelly more useful in prolonged close quarters combat, whereas the Honeycomb will be more suited to longer range playstyles.
-Multi-Stimpack Injector ๐ Movement speed reduced 25% -> 20% Firerate, reload rate, damage, ability recharge speed, and projectile speed & range increased 25% -> 45%
Common Tier -Phantom Minecart ๐ป Increases your movement speed, your bonus movement speed effects now also grant firerate as well

The Boss Fight Update Begins
Minigunner Build 0.8.2.2 Patch Notes
In this update we finally introduce the first boss fights! We currently only have the first boss, the Elder Plasma Spitter, in the game so far as the others are still in development! We plan to roll them out one at time as we finish them. Then we'll work on polishing the boss fight system, with smoother transitions, art for the different boss arenas, and more! We're also planning to release in early access on steam in two weeks!!! We'll be cleaning up and fixing small things from now until then.
General
-Introducing BOSS FIGHTS!! โขAfter completing every fifth wave, you will be prompted to enter the main mineshaft, to repair a damaged powerline substation โขWhen you start the repair you'll have to fight a supercharged boss gloop! โขThe boss gloop has several unique attacks that you'll have to outplay to come out unscathed! โขWhen the boss hits half health, it becomes ENRAGED, enhancing its attacks with new effects โขUpon death, the boss explodes with scrap and drops a supply crate that contains a free rare item!
-Also, everytime you return to the surface after a boss fight, the time of day will be changed!

-Explosive Detonator ๐งจ Dynamite dropped per roll increased 1 (+1 per stack) -> 3 (+3 per stack) Max dynamite cap increased 5 (+5 per stack) -> 9 (+9 per stack) Dynamite damage reduced 100 -> 75 This item required too much work to set up a dynamite trap without that much payoff, with these changes it is much easier and faster to set up dynamite traps on a whim, and get super satisfying explosions as payoff.
-Silver Wings โฉ Projectile speed and range increased 15% -> 20%
-Overloading Prism ๐ฃ Crit chance reduced 16% -> 8% When we did the crit number adjustment, we increased the crit chance of this item, but it proved to be very impactful just on its own, we're reducing this a bit so that it depends more on getting more crit chance from other items
-Winchester Shells ๐ฅ Empowered attack projectiles will now pierce 1 (+1 per stack) enemies
-Red Matter Duplicator ๐ฎ Scrap income reduced 15% (+15% per stack) -> 10% (+10% per stack) This item proves to be a little too powerful now that it is an all class item, so it's getting a slight adjustment

This should be our last patch before we ship the big boss fight update! We've squashed the remaining bugs discovered from drillminer update playtesting, and we're introducing an exciting new engineer item!

-Updated sentry firing animations to be a lot more clear/ crisp
-Controller aim assist for should now work as intended for all characters!
-Fixed an issue where your character would be twitching / shaking during gameplay. This was more prevalent on less powerful computers.

This item is really neat and it isn't that connected to the Engineer's item themes or his gameplay kit specifically, so moving it to the general item pool creates a spot for a cool new rare item for him that is!

Rare Tier -Ingenious Toolbox ๐งฐ All of your sentries now create zones around them that boost you. You can improve these zones with added bonus effects if you are holding more scrap.

The Drillminer Update
This patch marks the beginning of our work on the boss fights milestone!! We've added a new secret area where you can unlock a new playable mercenary: the Drillminer! He also comes with a whole set of achievements and items for him to unlock and use. The best part? You can now use this area to get a free legendary item in all of your runs (if you survive)!
General
-Added new secret area where you can complete the "Need a lift?" achievement, which unlocks the Drillminer as a playable character!
-This secret area also grants you a guaranteed legendary item if you complete the objective inside the room! NOTE: enemies in alternate areas will have significantly reduced scrap drop rates, making this an optional high risk / high reward room. You will not miss out on a lot of scrap if you choose not to do it.
-The Drillminer has been updated with new lighting and new visual effects
-16 new Drillminer achievements are now available to unlock unique items for him
-Enemies now splatter on death!
-Reduced wave requirement for the Minigunner's "Not a scratch" achievement from wave 15 to wave 10
-Adjusted the Engineer's "Didn't lift a finger achievement" to be achievable on any high threat wave (wave 11 onwards)
-Updated doors and mineshaft entrances with new lighting effects
-Improved train functionality greatly, significantly reducing weird interactions related to it
