[Dev Build] Dev_Moonlight's "Nia's Gang build"



The Devs of MINImax Tinyverse decided to share their builds!
This week, Dev_Moonlight shares his "Nia's Gang Build"




  • This strategy aims at dealing as much damage as possible with the first big swarm.
  • The key is to make the most of Nia's active and passive skills as well as Pain Soup, Stimulant and the synergy from the Sharkkus Pathfinder.


Champion



  • Bullseye (Passive Skill): Enemies hit by Nia will receive 75 extra damage for 5 seconds (and it stacks!)
  • Get out of my way! (Active Skill): Enemie shit receive 30% more damage during 6 seconds
  • Don't come closer! (Passive Skill): Make sure to keep an eye on the icon for this skill as it will fill up once it can be used. In a situation where the skill is not available, you will be able to rely on Pick Up only to get out of tricky situation. And if you're not able to use Pick Up then, you're toast.
  • In the situation where a massive group attack is going on, make sure to make good use of your active skill so that your ally troopers can benefit from the 30% extra damage.


Miracles



  • Freeze: I mostly use this when an enemy champion has been picked up and thrown towards my side of the map. If you have enough mana, I would recommend to use it continuously with Pain Soup and Stimulant. If the enemy champion attacks from a long range, use it on them.
  • Pain Soup: Increases the damage taken by 65% for 5 seconds. Combined with Nia's active skill this can be a huge game changer.
  • Stimulant: Increases speed by 50% during 6 seconds. This is great miracle to create intense strikes.
  • Cleansing: If you're about togo in with a heavy swarm but your opponent uses Freeze or Mass Disguise and thus comes in the way of your plan, you can respond by using Cleansing
  • Static Shock: This miracle is the best to deal with enemy Scouters or or Gliptos Chasers.
  • Vaccuum: This miracle is effective at getting enemy Scouters/Gliptos Chasers together, but can also help if you intend on using Nia's active skill, Freeze or Pain Soup on as many units as possible
  • Healing Powder: Even if you're winning at the front, if your units are in a critical state, you might not be able to push much more forward. In the case that you do not have a healer in your team, then this miracle is the next best thing.


Troopers



  • Rapanossan Warrior: Creaea's #1 trooper! The key is in placing them at the feet of the enemy tower, so that they can help in the first big swarm. But do not send more than one unit at a time. You should save your rations for other troopers too.
  • Sharkkus Hunter: Use this trooper after the enemy champion has just been picked up so that they have tno way to escape. Since it sends several units at once, it will be effective in regular attacks as well.
  • Gliptos Chaser / Rapanossam Assassin / Sharkkus Assassin: These troopers are good for instant/fast attacks. I recommend not to send the same type of trooper, but to mix them together. If you pick only Chasers for example, they can be taken down with one miracle, so choose wisely. However, at night try and send more Assassins.
  • Sharkkus Pathfinder: Pick this trooper last so that it gives other units a nice boost to deal more damage. If possible, try and place it so that it buffs your tower as well.


Tips and things to look out for.



  • Try to make it so that you can combine the attacks of Nia and your troopers, the boost of the Pathfinders and a miracle at the same time.
  • If you are winning but still in a bad position when it comes to the health of your champion, do not hesitate to make them rest, their health will go back up!
  • Please note that the Pathfinder buff cannot be removed with Cleansing.

This week Community favorite Team Build is "Elusive Nia", submitted by the player Mokkla:





Elusive Nia



  • With this build you have a lot of troops that help Nia perform her task of poking and comboing the enemy down.
  • You can use Sharkkus Assassins during the night to hunt down squishy targets or deal massive damage to the enemy champion after you reduce their defense with Nia's ability.
  • Racconian Ranger can deal with small troops like bunnies or Scouters and provide additional crowd control with their kicks.
  • Use Sharkkus Pathfinder or Stimulant to give Nia attack speed to quickly stack her passive!
  • Sharkkus Geomancer and Gliptos Charger are ideal to use against clumps of enemy troops in combination with Vacuum to keep them locked down and deal massive damage.

"Sink or Swim"



Trooper Selection


Centurion, Paladin, Catapult, Scouter, Demolisher, Magi-Bullet Sniper

  • The Centurion and the Paladin are simply used as decoys, to buy some time. When enemies are attacking in groups, I like to use the Paladin during the day and the Centurion at night.

  • Whatever happens, reserve the remaining four slots for troopers that will help me destroy enemy towers.

  • If the battle starts during the day and I have Miracle Ramp available, I send the Catapult first.

  • If the battle starts during the day but I don't have Miracle Ramp available I send the Magi-Bullet Sniper and the Scouter.

  • If the battle starts during the night, then it's Demolisher

  • I attack the towers using the above mentioned strategy.

  • If after destroying the first tower of your enemy you can see that your opponent has the upper hand, use Centurions and Paladins for defense, but in the case that you feel you have the upper hand, you sending Demolishers.


Miracle Selection


Mass Disguise, Defense Bubble, Smooth Walk, Stimulant, Miracle Ramp, Cleansing.

  • I use Defense Bubble and Mass Disguise in order to protect my Demolishers and other troopers that do not have a lot of health.

  • With Stiumlant and Smooth Walk I make my Demolisher faster and more agressive.

  • Most of you must already know but Miracle Ramp allows you to get your Catapult to the first tower in less than 10 seconds.


Champion



  • You can honestly use any Champion, but if possible I would advise using a Champion with good health.

  • Tuppi is able to attack from afar and take care of incoming enemy troopers as well as able to freeze enemy towers from time to time, which is why I have chosen him for this build.

  • Unless you are sure that you have the upper hand and able to take the win, do not use Tuppi as your main attack force.



Tips



  • You can swap the Magi-Bullet Sniper with the Artilleryman. The Artilleryman is able to swim in the water which can come in real handy on the maps with water.

  • You need to make sure to send the troopers at the right moment, especially in the case your trooper build is expensive in ration. Manage your rations wisely.

Club Season ends in 2 days



On February 25th, 11 PM PST the 1st Club Season will come to an end. Your club level will be reset and rewards of the current season will become unobtainable (including M-Club exclusive full skins for Murrakah’s Golden Predator Attire and Ortto’s Frenzied Gladiator Armor).

M-Club members will be asked to choose to re-join it again for a new season or downgrade to t-club. Remember you can join M-Club at any moment during the season and reclaim rewards according to your club level.

This week CMs and Devs favorite Team Build is "Front runner", submitted by the player Fishtales:



Front runner


I created a deck to try and bring out the power of an aggressive Shainen.
The Demolisher makes for a great heavy tank and if placed well you can use him combined with {Smooth Walk} to drag units all the way across the map, and then hide him with {Mass Disguise} letting him beat down the towers while Shainen clears the troopers.
{Trapping roots} and {Static Shock} are in the build to help stop those quick units, or as a way for you to hold them in place while Shainen charges up her devastating {Mega Explosion}.
I've elected to use {Meditation} for this build because I needed a fast way to cycle to {Smooth Walk} and {Mass Disguise} as often as possible. If your {Meditation} isn't high level or you feel uncomfortable using it; here are a few options to replace it with. {Miracle Ramp}, {Stimulant}, {Rainbow Fence}, {Defense Bubble}
