Tweaked servers should now cause less timeout issues.
Fixed a crash that was caused by timeouts when loading a skirmish fight.
Fixed an issue where the message of "unplugged controller" was not closable.
Improved Steam Inventory sync with the loot bag - you should see less instances of items not really lost showing up as red.
Updated some icons.
Thank you for your patience & all the feedback everyone, we're already working on the next patch too. Keep them coming! <3
An awesome launch - we hear your feedback!
Hey everyone!
We just wanted to drop in at the end of the day and give you a big, big thank you for all your support. It's been incredible! We're currently on the front page of Steam and everyone is super excited in the studio.
We also want to tell you that
we hear you!
We've been gathering all your feedback from reviews, Discord, the Steam forums, e-mails, social media, etc. and we're already working on a patch we're aiming on shipping out tonight and more during the week-end and through next week.
We plan on continuing supporting Mirador with content and fixes. Our roadmap will be available soon and it's going to be shaped by YOUR feedback, so be sure to hop onto the Steam forums and let us know what you like and dislike about the game.
Once again, thank you SO much for your support and thank you for your patience. <3
We're extremely excited to reveal Mirador's Official Gameplay Trailer & the game's release date: 26th July 2019!
Be sure to add the game to your wishlist to be notified when it's available.
Thank you so much for all your excitement & support! One last push before the launch - if you'd like to help us out, consider sharing the Trailer & Steam page with your friends!
Hope your week's been wonderful & that you've got a ton of fun stuff planned for the wee
k-end! Here's what we've been working on lately, at Sauropod Studio;
[ Newsletter Gift ]
https://www.miradorgame.com/newsletter
Right now, if you sign up to the Mirador newsletter, we'll e-mail you keys to unlock some free goodies when the game launches! Notably, the Flanged Helmet and the Aperture Glyph. You'll unlock the diagrams for those two items, meaning you'll be able to craft as many as you want and equip them on as many of your Sentinels as you want. We won't spam you either, promise. <3
[ The Blocking Mechanic ]
Sometimes, dodging a spell will be too tricky, or even impossible! In those situations, your trusty shield will be your best friend. The way the mechanic works is that you'll have a certain number of "charges" on your shield. Blocking certain spells or attacks will cost more or less charges, depending on the attack itself. For example, Spear's Flight, pictures in the video below, will only consume one charge per spear, but a larger, heftier attack like a Battleaxe blow will likely consume all the charges!
When you run out of charges, you won't take damage, but you'll be stunned for a short moment and won't be able to block anymore until all your charges refill completely!
[ The Windblown Steppes ]
The Windblown Steppes, a vast grassland peppered with ponds is one of the various locations you'll encounter in Mirador! We're trying really hard to make each location as unique and varied as possible to provide you with awesome settings for you to discover and face-off against other players' Sentinels!

[ Sentinel Weapons ]
We've already shown you the Greatsword, the Mace and the Blaster, but we've been working on more variety of weapons to equip your Sentinels with! Here's what the basic strike for the Battleaxe could look like;
[ Sentinel Frames ]
So far, we've only had the opportunity to show you the Knight frame, but in the future, we have ideas for a bunch of other different Sentinel frames. Here's a little sneak peek at some concept art of what they could look like!
[ Awesome Spells ]
We want your Sentinels to feel powerful and frightening, so the spells they use should reflect that awesomeness. Here's Seeker Bolt, one of the several spells you'll be able to find in Mirador, craft and equip to your Sentinels! The one you see in the GIF is an upgraded version of the spell because, yes, you'll be able to upgrade almost all non-cosmetic items into stronger versions!
[ Discord ]
We have a very active & very official Discord server for Mirador - lots of devs hang out there and everyone's really friendly and excited about Mirador and you should toooootally join us! :D
That's all for today! Hope you enjoyed this little sneak peek and if you'd like to help us out, consider talking to your friends about Mirador. :D
Until next time,
The Sauropod Studio Team <3
Mirador OST - Missing Home (Sneak peek!)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boEunviqcDA
Enjoy one variation of the procedurally generated tracks you'll discover in Mirador: Missing Home by Vibe Avenue!
Some of the music in Mirador, such as in the Sentinel creation menu is organic and features some randomization, meaning you'll never get the exact same loop twice. In addition, it evolves depending on the submenu you are currently in, adding more and more tension as you finalize your creation. This way, you can spend a lot of time in the menu with the music staying fresh, and can even explore the different options in a musical way!
We’d like to use this very first Steam announcement to update you on some of the cool stuff we’ve been up to if you haven’t been following our social media!
Online Co-Op
Mirador is an online game - you’ll be able to play solo, OR co-op with a friend! As such, we’ve been snazzing up the portal effects when your buddy walks through!
Sentinels Weapons
While adventuring, you’ll find tons of loot to make your Sentinels better! Bring the loot back safely to your Citadel and you’ll unlock the diagrams used to craft as many copies of that piece of loot as you want.
One type of treasure you can find is Sentinel weapons. Different weapons you equip to your Sentinels will give them different basic abilities. Ranged pew-pews with the Blaster and over-head bashing with the War Axe!
Player abilities
When you’re out fighting other players’ Sentinels, you’ll have some gear to help you. Besides the basic sword and shield, you’ll be able to dash and equip various secondary or support items to help during your battles. Here’s what the healing potion could look like!
Player skins
On launch, you’ll be able to choose one of the two ridiculously adorable player skins; The Dog or The Crow. We’ve been tweaking the look of The Dog to somehow make it even cuter than it was. What do you think?
Discord & Youtube
Mirador has an active official Discord server and you should join us! Come hang out and chat with other Mirador fans and the developers themselves, we’re all a bunch of nerds too and we hang out on the Discord every day.
We also post lots of sneak peeks on there! It's a great way to get an early preview of what the game will be like!
