July Update
The most recent update adds 'Shuffle' functionality to the visuals. You may turn it on in the sidebar of the menu. The following improvements are also included:
-Better menu styles
-Fix for users that could not see audio (involves the user increasing latency in the settings menu).
-Fix for users that could not use Oculus Touch controllers.
-Improvements to a handful of specific visuals.
Thanks for the continued interest in MIRAGE and look forward to future updates.
Responsiveness and Settings
This update increases the responsiveness of every single visual.
Also, there is now a settings menu where you can adjust the auto-transition time, toggle fullscreen, and disable the visual title pop-up among other things.
There should be much less delay between the audio and the visual. If you get loud static, please increase the latency option in the new settings menu and report it in the community hub. Otherwise, you should try to keep the latency setting as low as it will go.
Major improvements to latency coming soon
In the spirit of driving latency down as far as it can go, the next update of MIRAGE will contain changes which modify the DSP buffer. The change will lead to a huge performance boost for most users -- leading to a more reactive and immersive experience.
Something to note is that it may also cause *clicking* if your sound card is not the best. To satisfy all users, a new latency setting will be added to the menu. All users should strive to put the latency setting as low as it will go before *clicking* occurs.
Thanks for downloading MIRAGE in it's inaugural week. Look for tons of more improvements like this in the future.
Favorites Tab Improvements
After selecting a visual in the favorites tab, subsequent visuals will only be favorites. This allows you to filter out any non-favorite visuals. Thank you to the community for the suggestions.
Exit option added in-game.
There is an option to exit MIRAGE from within the menu now.
Remember that MIRAGE reacts with any music playing in the background!
Improved Korean translations. Default to fullscreen.
Thanks to our community for providing improved Korean translations. We strive to continue providing the best experience for users all around the world.
In this patch we decided to open desktop mode in fullscreen because we believe that it looks best for desktop users.
Mouse support added to Desktop mode!
Even though it's only been a day since release, we saw an overwhelming response from the community that MOUSE support should be added to Desktop mode.
With the latest update of MIRAGE, you may now navigate using a mouse. Try it out!
