Monospaced Lovers is live at the Games From Ontario Steam Sale!
The event runs from Sept 7-14, and it includes a ton of cool games made here in Ontario, Canada. You can snag a copy of some indie classics at a discount, or try demos for upcoming games like Monospaced Lovers! The event page is linked below.
Additionally, we'll be doing a livestream on Saturday, September 10th at 3:00pm EST / 12:00pm PST / 7:00pm UTC. As usual, the stream will be re-uploaded to our YouTube, but you're welcome to drop by while the stream is live as well.
Catch Indie VTubers Feebee and Mogu at DreamHack Beyond!
We have a fun announcement for you. Indie vtubers Feebee and Mogu will be streaming the Monospaced Lovers demo at DreamHack Beyond!
Feebee originally broadcasted the game on her Twitch, but we'll be re-broadcasting it here on Steam at 4pm EST.
Later tonight, Mogu will be multistreaming to both Steam and her YouTube at 10pm EST.
Everyone is welcome to drop by the chat and check out other demos at DreamHack. Plus, our 10pm stream with Mogu will be live (not pre-recorded), so you're invite to spam all those Steam emotes you've been saving up.

Great news, folks — Monospaced Lovers will be at DreamHack Beyond!

To celebrate the event, we have at least one livestream planned, with the potential for more. We have a developer livestream tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 31st at 10am EST (GMT -4).

We're happy to announce that our demo v2.0 is finally ready for release! The update is live, so you can try it today.
The content of this demo is roughly the same as the 1.0 release, but it includes our all-new environment art, revamped platforming physics, custom-made sound effects, and more. As a whole, this release should feel a lot more polished than our previous demos.

Hello everyone! As part of the Steam Game Festival, we're scheduling a Q&A event in our Discord! You're welcome to drop by and ask us anything about the game, or about game development, or pretty much anything else.
As part of the Steam Game Festival, we're happy to present a live streaming event featuring the first chapter of Monospaced Lovers! The lead dev (that's me) will play through the full demo while providing commentary along the way.
The game contains a lot of text, and I'll try to approach the demo as if I'm a first-time player (while trying to ignore the fact that I've speedran it a hundred times). As a result, the stream could last more than an hour, but don't feel bad if you have to leave early.
Will the commentary be useful, or funny, or otherwise interesting? Will the stream run from start to finish without any technical difficulties? The answer to these questions — and more — will be revealed soon. Tune in to find out!
Monospaced Lovers is a story-rich platformer filled with wonder and mystery. When Clara wakes up to a phone that isn't hers, she must journey through a strange but comfy world to find out who the Gòd o͏f̴ B̴in͠a̸r̨y̧ really is — and why her new friend woke up to a phone that wasn't his.
We hope to capture a sense of adventure inspired by games like FEZ and La-Mulana, while delivering a whimsical yet emotional narrative inspired by To the Moon, Undertale, and much more.
The entirety of Chapter 1 is free to play, and it takes 1-2 hrs to complete.
We're still in the process of collecting feedback and improving the game, so we appreciate everyone who takes the time to try out the demo! In particular, we're planning to improve the environment art and create more assets to really bring the game's world to life. If you have feedback but you'd rather not comment publicly, please consider leaving anonymous feedback in our suggestion box.
