Hello Planimal trainers, as our promise to keep you all updated, we've just launched a small update with various fixes. In addition to this, the demo on our steam page has been updated to reflect the fixes from QOL 1 & 2.

Switch has also been brought up to parity, with the PC version which you can read about here.

QOL2 launch date + features expanded

Hey everyone,

With QOL2 coming to PC this Thursday the 15th, its filled with some new additions and bug fixes that you can check out in our last post.

Below are some of the new features being shipped with the update:

Introducing Aster & The Clothing Store
A new merchant arrives in town.
- Change your character to 1 of 32 appearances
- Aster can be romanced and gifted, the conclusion resulting in a reward cutscene
- Shop visuals also improved

Combat 2.0
New options to turn the tide in your favour
- Escape Battle option now available
- Swap Planimals mid-battle
- Heal Planimals between battles with potions bought from the clinic

House Customization
Time for a facelift
- 5 different house styles available to purchase from the sign outside the player house
- Cosmetic changes persist across house levels.

Festival Improvements
My fish is bigger than yours!
- Livestock festival will trigger a cutscene after 90 seconds of being at the festival
- Fishing contest allows the player to submit a fish for judging
- The cookoff allows players to enter a dish of their choice to be scrutinized


Quality of Life Update 2: Patch Notes

Hey everyone.

Next week, we'll be updating Monster Harvest with some new features and additions, as well as an extensive list of bug fixes which you can find below. With QOL2 releasing on PC, our full attention is now on the console versions - fixing existing issues and bringing the consoles up to parity with the PC updates. These ports will take some time - while we understand the frustration, we do appreciate your patience. When we have new info regarding the ports, we'll update the community with that news.

QOL2 features contain:

- A new character
- A new relationship option
- New cosmetics for your house
- 30 - 40 player character cosmetics
- New festival events and games
- Updated Battle mechanics - Use items, escape, swap planimals

Holiday Update

Hi everyone,

First off, as we have said numerous times now, thank you for the feedback that’s been shared since the beta through to launch and beyond, it shapes the way we develop and build the game.

After the post-launch flurry of updates, things have been a little quieter, which isn’t ideal. We really want to provide you with meaningful updates which we couldn't do until the initial bug fixing patches were completed and work progressed on the more quality of life focused update which was promised.

We’re a small team but we’re passionate about what we do and giving you an enjoyable gaming experience is really what we sign up for by coming to work in the games industry. We know there have been frustrations out there and despite things being quieter on the communication front, we’ve certainly tried to give every player a voice, hear your concerns and take them to heart. We don’t want to overpromise on something until we’re sure of it, so a lot of Monster Harvest has been behind the scenes work lately.

With that said, we’re in a position now to share details on the next updates for Monster Harvest! These will come in the form of 2 updates, for all platforms.

Update 1
Coming early in the new year! It will land on PC first, followed by consoles which require some additional porting and certification before we can get them out to you.

Massive UI overhaul

  • Menus all optimized and some redesigned
  • Text popups for pickups and items
  • Rescaled multiple text instance

- Controller support improvements

  • Improving controls & menu navigation when using a controller

- Crop signposting

  • Crops will now more clearly tell you when they are ready to harvest

- A map of Planimal Point is now available

- See where you stand with the resident of Planimal Point with a new relationship tracker

- Clearer stamina and exp usage and caps

- General game & economy balancing

- Lots of minor bug fixes

Then there will be another update a little further along the new year which will bring big changes to the Planimal System, customisation & in-game story!
We’ll share more details on that soon, but we wanted to give you an overview of what is being worked on.

Hotfix #8

Hey everyone,

We've been hard at work on the latest hotfix and we're pleased to share that hotfix #8 is now live!

Hotfix 8 updates

  • Fixed issue with mount blocker.
  • Fixed an issue where players sometimes could not interact with the pause menu using mouse & keyboard.
  • Fixed an issue where slimes sometimes were not able to be sold or trashed.
  • Feed hopper will now refill correctly when upgrading the barn interior.
  • Fixed an issue with being able to place an infinite amount of certain objects on top of one another.
  • Fixed an issue where the Mutanko statue was unable to be picked up once placed.
  • Fixed an issue with mounts remaining active whilst in the dungeon.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused players to clip into the Saloon and get stuck.
  • Correctly applied the relationship discount to item upgrades.
  • Fixed an issue where the demo end screen would occasionally show upon loading your save game.
  • Settings screen correctly working in the pause menu.
  • Adjusted controller UI input sensitivity.
  • Various NPC & merchant fixes.
  • Some small fixes made to livestock interaction and harvesting.
  • Fixed an issue where plants would sometimes advance their growth stage upon loading a save file.
  • Correctly show control diagrams for mouse/keyboard, Xbox controller or PlayStation controller.

Hotfix #7

Hey everyone,

We just have a brief hotfix update today, but I hope this update makes your time in Planimal Point more enjoyable!

Hotfix #7 update:

  • There was a bug that prevented the player from using the sword, green slime, and watering can unless they closed the game and opened it again. This has now been resolved.
