In this entry you can hear some footstep sounds and transitions across various surfaces, at different speeds. This currently plays into the stealth system, making running on metal surfaces more noticeable to AI than crouching on carpet. Player footwear will also be taken into account.

Montas Upgrade to Unreal Engine 4
Thank you for your continued support and patience, we want you to know that we are making incredible progress within the new engine. After the first release of Montas in Unreal Engine 3 on Early Access, we have been working on the final version of the game in Unreal Engine 4.
We want to release and test a full prequel to the final version of the game in Unreal Engine 4 while still in Early Access before advancing to a full release. This prequel content includes story and accurately reflects what we want the final game to be.
Release Date TBA with Screenshots coming soon of the new levels previewed in the above image.
Montas Early Access Update #7
Dear friends,
We are proud to release this long awaited, largest update to Montas yet. This time we have made significant improvements to performance, drastically increasing the framerate for most users. AI has been improved and new added content and re-arranged progression will make it a thrilling experience even for veteran players.
We don't want to spoil anything with a detailed change list so for this update we have decided to remain light on the details.
More options such as control mapping will be coming in future updates.
