Mission Text Refinement:
All mission texts have reached the final stages of refinement.
The French Translation is also approaching completion.
Link management has been enhanced for a smoother experience.
Mission Reward Windows:
Mission reward windows are now more compact, especially when displaying fewer rewards.
Titles have been improved for enhanced readability.
Seamless User Interaction:
Mission rewards are now prevented from being shown simultaneously with the next mission briefing.
Users can conveniently close mission briefings, mission rewards, and the tech tree window using the ESC key.
Building Unlock:
Issues with the Asteroid hub and Hypergate building steps not unlocking have been resolved.
Savegame reloads will now grant updated research unlocks as intended.
Axopedia Enhancements:
Building upgrades are now displayed in Axopedia with their parent building for added context.
Axopedia tabs have been reordered,
Tutorial naming when changing tabs in Axopedia has been fixed.

Research Screen: Recipe names are now displayed correctly.
Building Tooltip Icons: Fixed an inconsistency with worker icons in the upgrade part of the building tooltips. Upgrades now correctly utilize axonaut icons for moon buildings and axobot icons for asteroid-only buildings.
Card Layout: Remove a graphical glitch that occurred when no characteristic information was available.
Space Route Planning: Resolved an issue with space route planning, ensuring that looping routes to asteroid icons are correctly activated when landing platforms are built on both sides.

Text Refinement: Mission and UI text refinements are underway, bringing them closer to their final version. I am eagerly looking forward to your feedback to make them even better.
Neatly Framed Data: Production data is now neatly contained within the card frame, ensuring a cleaner and more organized presentation.
Enhanced Reward Display: The rewards screen has been fine-tuned with improved text scaling for a more polished appearance.
Upgrade tooltip fixed: Card were shrinked
Tutorial Makeover: The tutorial's visual formatting has been given a makeover, making the learning process more user-friendly.
Science Type Added: To reduce any confusion when selecting new research, a "new" red science has been added for early space-related technologies.
Research Screen Contrast Enhancement: The colour of text backgrounds have tuned for easier reading.

Streamlined Building Cards: Building cards have been redesigned to prevent production data from spilling beyond the frame. Additionally, their size has been increased for more readable texts.
Unified Rewards: Mission and research rewards have undergone a visual unification.
Population Insights: For your convenience, a citizen portrait has been introduced in mission briefings, offering a better connection with your population. Resource and building icons has also been added

A brand new icon
I am proud to present you the new icon for Moons of Ardan, the relaxing space city-builder.
The new icon features a stylized image of the Ardan system, including its moons and a white axonaut face overlay.
This stylized depiction of Ardan, its moons, and a white axonaut's face captures the game's essence: a peaceful and exploratory journey where players build thriving space cities while ensuring the well-being of their axonauts.
The icon, created by the talented François Mauge, is both eye-catching and informative. The axonaut happy face evokes the goal of the player which is to care about the axonauts well-being, while the stellar bodies reflect the planetary system awaiting players. The icon's overall design is both elegant and inviting, perfectly reflecting Moons of Ardan's unique blend of tranquillity and exploration.
In contrast to the old icon, which was somewhat generic, the new icon is truly distinctive and memorable. It is sure to stand out from other games in the genre, and it will serve as a beacon of excitement for all who see it.

Hello, Moons of Ardan players and supporters,
Here is a blog post about the upcoming patch v0.11.0, which is probably the latest big feature patch before the game's release.
Here is an excerpt of the new features introduced:
New tech tree
The new tech tree is a major change to the way that you unlock buildings and technologies in Moons of Ardan.
Previously, you were forced to follow a set path to unlock certain technologies before you could move on to others.
The new tech tree is more flexible and gives you more choices. You can now choose to research whichever technologies you want, whenever you want. This opens up new strategic possibilities and allows you to develop your civilization in the way that you see fit.
For example, if you want to focus on developing your economy, you can research technologies that will increase your production.
But if you want to get the landing pad quickly to prevent space junk, you can completely focus on that objective before unlocking residents, and be allowed to create automated space routes earlier.
From a design perspective, it allows me to introduce more technologies and more minor upgrades without disrupting the game's "mandatory" progress.
New mission system
The new mission system is another significant change to Moons of Ardan.
Previously, the game's progression was mainly driven by the tutorial and milestones (such as reaching a specific population).
This made it difficult to teach the early game mechanics to players who were not always motivated to read texts, and it also made the game feel quite repetitive and linear.
The new mission system gives you more specific goals to help you develop your early civilization. For example, you may be given missions such as "Build 1 woodcutter and 3 shelters". This will make it easier for new players to learn the game and avoid getting lost. Note that the mission briefing can also be reviewed more easily.
Even if the early missions are quite directive, I plan to introduce a more sandboxy mode for players who are attempting the game a second, third, or more time. But don’t worry, after the initial learning steps, the missions tend to fade away and you can progress your civilization the way you want.
It is a great way for new players to learn the game. It provides them with a clear roadmap to follow and helps them to avoid getting lost.
New axopedia
The new axopedia is a valuable resource for both new and experienced players. It is a comprehensive encyclopedia that allows you to review all information distilled through the game and is a wealth of knowledge about the game. You can now browse the axopedia at your own pace and learn about the game at your convenience.
Previously, only the tutorials were reviewable. This meant that I had to put all hints into that system, and it was most of the time badly timed. Now, with the hint section you can review the core of what I would have told you if I had backseated you :D
Improved building information using cards
Previously, there was no unified way to represent the information about buildings. Now, in most places such as reward and upgrade tooltips, a card with building information is displayed to improve information reading.

In addition to the features I mentioned above, there are several other smaller changes, improvements, and bugs that have been fixed in v0.11.0.
I am very excited about this upcoming patch for Moons of Ardan. I believe that the new features will make the game even better than it already is. I am looking forward to seeing how players react to the new tech tree, mission system, axopedia, and other changes.
