One of the biggest updates so far, at least in terms of gameplay quality and usability improvements. Based heavily on the players feedback.
Patch notes:
Full gamepad support added. Might be somewhat rough around the edges but you should be able to play the game 100% with a gamepad

Option to hide/show the direction indicator
Option to disable screen noise and forced respawn when going in a wrong direction
Option to completely hide user interface
Camera sensitivity setting
Projectiles fired by the player will now follow the ground slightly instead of colliding with it instantly, making for a lot more enjoyable experience

Separate setting added for voice volume
Voice volume will now properly obey master volume setting
Many minor changes and tweaks here and there
Small update
Happy new year everyone! Here is the first update of 2022 for Motor Assailant.
Fixed some typos in English localization.
Modified the way missiles track their targets, they should now hit larger enemies with more precision. This should only affect the visual point of impact.
Missiles will now be able to lock on The Excavator. This change should make the fight a bit easier.
The game will no longer send any play stats to the developer. It could send completely anonymous data with explicit permission from the user related to how the game is being played, this capability will now be disabled. Request permission dialog and corresponding menu option were disabled as they are no longer necessary.
Player feedback update
This update is based on player feedback and it is the biggest one so far. To celebrate it we are offering a 50% discount for the game. List of changes:
Added difficulty level selection. Difficulty level affects the amount of damage you receive and enemies aggressiveness.
Added energy shield feature. If you die multiple times in a row it will become possible to activate energy shield which will reduce the amount of damage you receive until you complete your current mission. This feature is not available on the hard difficulty setting.
Added visual on screen indication for low armor state.
Prices for some vehicles are reduced to make the game feel less restrictive in vehicle choice.
Prices for vehicle upgrades are slightly reduced.
Missiles will now first attempt to lock onto the target in the crosshair, fallback to automatic target detection if failed.
It is now possible to revisit completed missions by picking the Missions option in the main menu.
Added main menu background for the lava world that was missing.
Small changes and tweaks here and there.
Small update - added game analytics
Added capability for the game to record and send back to us some anonymous data on how you play. The purpose of this is to improve and balance the game. No personal data is being recorded, not even your SteamID. The game will ask for your permission to send this data next time you launch it after the update.
