Clock Tower Mode


Climb the 12 floors, Items and upgrades will be offered each floor



Get ready to test your survival skills in our brand new Clock Tower Mode. In this challenge, you'll face 12 floors of relentless action where every choice counts. Here's how it works:


  • Food/Potion: Choose one out of three options to boost your stats.

  • Weapon: Select one from three powerful arms to fend off the enemies.

  • Perk: Pick one of three perks to gain that extra advantage.

  • You may get a rare choices

  • Climb & Survive: Begin your ascent on the first floor of the clock tower and battle your way through all 12 floors.

  • Final Score: Upon reaching the top, you'll receive a summary of your time and enemy kill count.



Challenge yourself to survive each floor and reach the pinnacle of the Clock Tower. Your skills and strategy will be put to the ultimate test, the look at the 12th floor is worth the trouble.


  • Added Secret items that don't exist in the books

    While playing as The Thieve

    • Enemies Hardly Spot You

    • Knight Class now unlocks when player enter the clock tower for the first time, rather than unlocks when player reaches floor 12 in clock Tower
    • Knight Class Ability (Increased Ultimate Attack Charge Speed) Increased by 20%
    • Knight Class Ability (Increased Ultimate Attack Damage) Increased by 25%
    • Explosive Weapons now have a minimum of 2m radius
    • Reaching Level 36 now gives 12 Upgrade Points rather than 6
    • When player reachs level 36 it will now says max level & full XP bar

    • In Freeplay the Pinned notification that says Duration to the Nearest Paradoxes, will now display distance for the paradox shockwave to reach player if clock tower rang
    • Improved Books Performance
    • Changed How (Longer Potion Duration), yes it has been calculating it wrong all this time. at level 36 (Max Upgrade Level) you get 400% Potion Duration. at Curse level 36 (Max Curse Level) you get 25% Potion Duration

    Notes:


    -This version of MOVAFORT may use more memory (RAM). if it used more than 8GB make sure to report it
    -All Game Settings will reset to default on game launch you can backup your settings by doing the following:

    1. navigate to (Steam/steamapps/common/MOVAFORT/MOVAFORT_Data/MOVAFORTDATA/SettingsDataSave)
    2. copy all the files inside the folder
    3. Start the game then exit the game after it loads
    4. paste the filles you copied in same location (Replace the new created files)
    5. Done, Start the game and enjoy


    New Features



    • Add Key Mapping. You can Now Change the Input controls whatever you like. You can access controls menu from main menu or from in game menu

    • NPCs will no longer keep standing in shop (sell room) when player is outside the building (standing near the building counts as inside the building)
    • Improved how NPCs Y Pos is calculated, NPCs will no longer go through ground and stairs
    • Improved NPCs path finding and running speed
    • Stamina now will regenerate a percentage of max stamina per second rather than a fixed number per second
    • When standing still the stamina regeneration rate is tripled
    • If player is wanted and an NPC spotted player from 12 meter or closer then player will be detect by the NPC
    • Hitting a (Stones or Ores or Trees or Animals) with arrows will now show their hp on screen


    Optimization



    • when NPC path is saved it will only save up to 50 points of navigation


    Bug Fixes



    • Fixed an error that occurs when saving the game (caused by releasing the memory of all buildings navigation in the chunk but under water building don't have a navigation)
    • Fixed a bug that cause shop items (and any other item) to move every time the game is saved and loaded
    • Fixed player be able to skip clock tower rooms by pressing (U). this was a debug feature hopefully no one abused it
    • Button (Press E to skip cutscene) will no longer appear at the loading of (free play mode)
    • Fixed an error that occurs when player load the game if the game saved while he was being attacked by an NPC
    • Potions that are dropped from dead animals will no longer explode when hitting the ground
    • Fixed an error that occurs when player throw an item intro future portals
    • Fixed the problem causing Items to have missing textures

    MOVAFORT Community Update #1

    No More popup tutorials out of no where !



    New Features



    • Clicking on Villager Quest Notification will pop window that tell player where is quest item is and what to do
    • Added Help Button in menu window that Expand another window next to menu window that shows a list of tutorials, Some will be Locked until player reaches a certain story step, clicking on a tutorial opens tutorial screen
    • Added small (Help?) button at every game window and when pressed it opens tutorial
    • Added Support for wide screens, Resolution with aspect ratio width than 2:1 will now appear in settings.
    • Added an Option in In-Game Menu to scale UI so it's not too big or too small for some players.
    • Greatly Improved UI for Wide Screens.

    • when player have new tutorial a button will appear on Screen, when player clicks the button the tutorial will show
    • tutorial button will hide if player is detected, and will be shown again when player hide
    • (Save/Return to Menu) Buttons are removed and replaced with 1 menu Button (Hamburger Menu Icon), this opens pop up window, the window Contain 3 Buttons (Help / Save / Save and Return to menu)
    • Return to Menu Button now must be hovered over for a second then be clicked to go to menu, this prevents accidental presses
    • Added (Button [F] to leave item in hand) to the input tutorial
    • Added (What LMB & RMB Do) to the input tutorial
    • Player can no longer get soft locked in Clock Tower
    • Player can no longer skip Clock Tower once he pressed Clock Tower's First Floor Button

    After Taking your Feedback, Bugs were fixed and some game mechanics were balanced.



    New Features



    • Damage Direction Indicator: an Arc will appear near cross hair telling player from which direction the damage is coming from, this is useful in a situation where an NPC is shooting an arrows at you from far away and you don't where the NPC is.
    • Player Can now throw Potions at him self to as an alternative to drinking it, It will give same effect, Just make sure no enemies are nearby because they might get buffed by the potion, Potions with Explosive effect will damage player.
    • Potions will now be drained when fast travel by the same duration the fast travel takes
    • Potions will not drain when time traveling or when get hit by paradox shock waves

    • In story mode when paradox shock wave is closer than 1km the distance will be written in meter
    • Base thrown Potion effect Radius is Increased from 1m to 3m
    • non-Explosive Potion can now affect 2 targets instead of 1 target
    • Player can no longer sleep while detected by Robots
    • Player can no longer sleep while stealing from the village
    • Mana wont Regen as long as a Time portal is open
    • Killing Animals now gives from 5 XP to 50 XP Depending on the Animal Health & Attack Damage
    • Sleeping and Traveling in Time now resets Steal and Detection(Stealth) Bar
    • Detection Bar and Steal Bar now Drops to zero once player fast travel or sleep or time travel
    • Robots Rockets Damage Radius increase by 25%
    • Mines Damage now Depends on Distance Between player and the mine and count as Explosive Damage rather than physical Damage
    • When using (Fire Ball or Lighting Storm or Toxic Cloud) Ultimate Attack you can press Left Mouse Button to exit Ultimate attack View and Return to First Person View but only after 2 second cool down, cool down starts when the ultimate attack starts

    • NPCs searching for a free bed to sleep or a free chair to seat will no longer cause a frame drop

    MOVAFORT Optimization Update #1

    First of all thanks for your patience, The reason why its (Optimization Update #1) because I believe there is more room for improvement in the future, most of the random annoying frame drops are fixed, but it still happens in some cases like at 3:00 when the clock tower rings and when you click save game. You have no idea how heavy it is to save a point in time.

    To run the game smoothly install the game system drive (usually C: Driver) and on SSD.

    New Features



    • When an Animal Parry an Arrow a message will pop-up (The Animal Parried The Arrow)


    Changed



    • Animals now have 75% to block an arrow (Instead of 100%) if the player attacked the animal before throwing that arrow
    • Loading Screen will now disappear before displaying wake up animation


    Optimization



    • (Crack Texture) will now be loaded one time per game instead of once per biome is loaded to increase Performance
    • Loaded items in memory will be loaded in 1 frame instead of (1/16) Frame to prevent frame drops
    • if an item was not loaded in memory when chunk is loaded then it will be loaded in 3 frames instead of (1/16) Frame to prevent frame drops
    • Robot Texture is now loaded in a number of frames depending on file size instead of 1 frame to prevent frame drops when loading biomes
    • Mattress Texture is now loaded in a number of frames depending on file size instead of 1 frame to prevent frame drops when loading biomes
    • Tree Texture is now loaded in a number of frames depending on file size instead of 1 frame to prevent frame drops when loading biomes
    • Tree Leaves Texture is now loaded in a number of frames depending on file size instead of 1 frame to prevent frame drops when loading biomes
    • Tree Leaves Texture are now loaded once per biome instead of twice per biome to increase Performance
    • Animal Texture is now loaded in a number of frames depending on file size instead of 1 frame to prevent frame drops when loading biomes

    • Preloading Chunk Task is now multi-threaded to prevent frame drops
    • Chunks getting its nearby Chunks is now x4 faster and no longer cause from drops
    • (Save and Return to menu) is now much faster
    • Unloaded gameplay Music Clip from memory when player return to menu
    • Fixed nested Navigation data preventing Navigation from being unloaded from memory after chunk is saved casing memory leak
    • Meshes inside Buildings will now be unloaded from memory after Biome no longer have chunks loaded this prevents mesh memory leak
    • fixed a frame drop that happens when an animal attack the player
    • game will no longer frame drop when destroying a new type of robots
    • Chunks Reference data will now be cleared with the chunk to prevent memory leak
    • fixed a frame drop that happens when player first hit an enemy or a material


    Bug Fixes



    • fixed a bug casing Items to stuck on Screen when dragging them ... That's the 5th time I fix this bug you have no idea
    • fixed clock tower first floor Button not being saved with chunk
    • fixed Books Control Buttons on Screen showing wrong icon when opening book by clicking Right Mouse Button on an item
    • fixed Anvil Preview having wrong tool level level when upgrading tools
    • fixed a bug that made upgrade events to transform tools instead of upgrading them
    • fixed timeline acceleration when a tutorial pop-up on screen

    • fixed a bug preventing player from stealing from NPC while NPC is dead
