There have been a few small updates we've been holding onto for this particular posting. Notable things, the achievement bug should have been fixed where players who haven't gotten achievements weren't getting them loaded. It has been tested and confirmed today.
One of the fun things that got updated was transformation segments got a little bit flashier for the Creator fight as well as the big final boss reveal scene. In addition to this, there were a couple bugs sorted including wall maps and a switch not visible on Level 50 that is now visible.
A unique thing about Mr. Triangle's Maze is it was made by two friends who actually never met up until this year, the same year the game was released. We had been working together a lot in the early 2000's and life got in the way of finishing Mr. Triangle's Maze. Finally we were able to connect, rebalance the game in a way we thought upheld the views we had when we were younger while also with the views we have today on game design. This game is a big symbol of our friendship and we are absolutely thrilled you have decided to embrace Mr. Triangle and this adventure. We recorded this video to talk about the long history of our friendship and the game and we hope you find it interesting. We certainly did.
Maze Management - Flashing, Wolf Boss, FPS
Thank you for your continued interest in Mr. Triangle's Maze. A few things have been updated based on your valuable feedback.
Upon starting a new game, there is now a proper warning about the exit level flashings and how to disable them for your save data. Access the menu while in a stage and you can toggle it on or off and all warps with flashing lights should be disabled.
In the spirit of what we set out for with the Wolf Boss, we wanted to preserve the challenge of him. So what we did was we created the option to fight the boss with or without armor. Without gives you the thrill of immediate death, while the armor now has two hits that it can take before it blows up.
In addition to these things, the frame rate of the game has been slightly increased and is a bit smoother. As our engine progresses we will up it to an even higher FPS when possible. This edit to the frame rate is one that should still be manageable.
