With E3 approaching and Hell Let Loose releasing on the 6th of June, it’s fair to say that Team17 has a very busy week ahead! In fact, next week we’ll be unveiling not just one but TWO BRAND NEW GAME ANNOUNCEMENTS!

Team17 - 100th Game Celebration
With the release of PLANET ALPHA on 4th September 2018, Team17 will have released 100 games! This landmark includes games developed and/or published here at Team17, ranging from our early Amiga days with the likes of Alien Breed, Body Blows and Project X, through the explosion in popularity of the Worms series, our work-for-hire period on franchises like Lemmings and Leisure Suit Larry right through to the modern age and our indie games label featuring The Escapists, Overcooked and Yooka-Laylee!

Hey everyone
We've just released a brand new trailer for Mugsters, this time focusing on fails. Even the best laid out plans are bound to end in disaster, and this latest trailer is dedicated to the many ways things can go horribly, horribly wrong!

While a fail (and untimely demise) in single-player does mean a quick restart of the island, failing in local co-op is less "severe", as you can simply revive your co-op partner, so you can get back to perfecting that plan in seconds.

Mugsters arrives on July 17th
Greetings, fellow humans!
The aliens have held our world long enough, and it’s now almost time to take it back. Our teleporters are ready to bring you to the heart of the alien occupation on July 17th, so you can start liberating fellow humans while blowing up those pesky invaders!
We’ve prepared a vehicle instruction video to help you on your way, so you know exactly how you can utilise your vast array of available vehicles in the best way possible. Ultimately, exactly how you go about finishing your mission – which involves exploring islands, saving humans, collecting crystals, driving and flying various vehicles, and blowing things up – is up to you!

Remember that you can bring along a friend if you don’t want to face the alien threat by yourself, and every island has been remixed to offer a different experience whether you play it alone, or in local co-op. Will you be playing Mugsters by yourself, or with a friend?
Beyond just Steam, Mugsters will also be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on July 17th 2018, and to celebrate our release date announcement, we’ll be livestreaming a couple of co-op levels on Friday. We’ll be sharing more details about the livestream right here and across our social channels later in the week.

The aliens are doing who knows what to your fellow humans, and it’s of the utmost importance that you free them before the aliens finish doing… whatever they’re doing. Should you get a chance to destroy some of the alien machines, or collect some of their mysterious crystals, we’d strongly encourage you to do that too. Oh, and remember to keep an eye on any vehicles that can get you off each island as soon as you’re done!
