Muppy The Bunny: The Danger of Wishes

Update 3.1.0 + Screenshots of a beta 3.1.1

Sorry about yesterdays post. I was having a pretty overwhelming day, and as a quick decision was like nope I'm out. But I've thought things through a little(especially thanks to a kind few of you), and decided I can probably release a few more updates. So that is what I did. I just released update 3.1.0.

Added menu options inspired by Evil Pasta's art he posted in the community group chat. Kudos to them for the basis of the menus.

Score/Lives location changed.

Snow background changed.

Descriptions on what the settings do.

Updated Title Screen.

Changed the balloon sprites.

Changed the pallet for the grass background slightly.
Started to implement Honey(the cyborg rabbit at the beginning cut-scene) as a playable character(this one has been quite the chore to do as he has a very different style of game play than Muppy and I have to get it to work with the existing levels).

To do list :

Finish Implementing Honey as a playable character(disabled and hid that as an option for now, but will be available in the next update as I only have a few bugs to sort out with him, although most of them prevent progression as Honey so for obvious reasons he has been disabled).

Edit : I have almost finished implementing Honey. It was a bit faster than expected. I'm waiting to release the update till tomorrow at the minimum as I want to make sure it is as quality as I can get it, considering there is the new character.

HOWEVER I will be sharing some screenshots. Here they are

The End(For Now I Guess)

Even my best game that I've worked my absolute hardest for the past two years alone on one game(this game), hoping it would do good in at least some sense has been absolutely destroyed now. Any hope has been lost. I seemed to have failed on you guys, and I am truly sorry. I wish I could have been better. Although a lot of people that I'm close to is telling me to keep working, I'm not sure how I can continue. It's clear this isn't going anywhere. I will keep this up as an archive. But I probably won't make another one. There will be no more updates either(even though I had a new character planned).

This has been Skyler this time. But alas, good bye :(

Edit : Okay, so I guess it is more of a hiatus than a complete cancellation now, due to a bit more response on here, my gamejolt, and facebook I posted on.
Still will be awhile, but rest assured I will eventually make this game in it's ultimate form. Or I might just start from the ground up and make a new game. it honestly depends on how I feel when I get back into making games.

Edit 6/27/19 : Ok, I feel as if I should get a few more updates out there before taking another break. Expect one or two more through the next couple weeks. I have one compiling now.

Edit 3 : Alright, this post is no longer in effect. I honestly don't think I can take a break for too long from making games.

Update 3.0.0 Release + A Thank You + Store Page Updated

Before I start explaining what this update adds, I want to say thank you everyone for helping me get to where I am now. I just got my 3,000th download today and I am so grateful. When I originally released the game, I'm going to be honest, I replayed that build today, and honestly it wasn't as good as I originally thought, considering the improvements I've made within the past month. With all of the recommendations I have received along the way, it is helping this game be the best it can be, and I'm glad. And while this isn't a very popular game(especially for Steam) I can still say I'm happy with the response. Thank you guys!

Anyways, on with the patch notes :

Gave some of the text a bit of a shadow, to make it stand out a bit more.

Chapter 1 has a slightly different sky background.

Chapter 2 has a new background.

(Spoiler Ahead)
Aligned text on the kill or not options after the final boss better

On a last note, I'm going to update the store page again soon as it shows an outdated build( Version 2.1.1). I just have to make a new trailer and take some screenshots.

Edit : The store page has been updated to show version 3.0.0.

Version 2.2.1 Release

While there isn't too much changed in this update. The opening cut scene has been changed completely to show a bit more story in a shorter time(which was a complaint that was very common).

Instead of showing how it started, I felt as if I should make it more clear on how Muppy ventured out.

On top of that, the Chapter 1 boss has it's starting location pushed back just a bit to give you all more time to react.

Build 2.2.0 Released

I made a lot of changes in this update.

Resized some backgrounds.

Slightly revamped the title screen.

Changed the running animation(again).

Changed the standing animation.

A lot of other stuff.

New Build Going Live Soon

I'm sorry for the lack of updates here recently. I haven't got much of a chance to work on this. I've been very busy recently and just couldn't find much time to work on the game. Rest assured, a new update will come out soon. I'm in the process of fixing up some minor things and it will be out probably tomorrow.

Also, if you have any suggestions on what I could improve next, let me know in the discussions page. Not everything that is recommended can be put in, but I'll try my best to do as many as I can.

Update 2.1.1 Release

So, new update again. Here are the change notes :

Bug fixes

New backgrounds.

Slight level changes for the first level of chapter 3.

Fixed a game breaking bug in chapter 2.

You no longer phase through balloons when on a parachute.

Update 2.1.0 Release

I wasn't liking how the game looked last update, so I did a MAJOR update to it to make things look better. Hope you guys like it more now. Also the once Forrest world is a grass world now because I didn't like how the forest looked. Sorry if I got a bit generic with the world choice, but it seemed to fit anyways, as it once was a grass world before.I'll also list some stuff fixed.

A ton of graphics.

Bridges now only fall when you jump on them and stand for too long.

Made the final boss easier and more obvious what you are supposed to do.

Improved the ending slightly.

Changed Chapter 1 from a Forrest World into a Grass World.

Changed Chapter 1's music to fit the grassy update.

Update Version 2.0.0 Release

Finally released another update. And I also updated the store page to show gameplay of this version and some screenshots to show the current build. I did leave the trailer up while I work on a new one, so expect that to be replaced soon though.

Next Update Content Screenshots And More Reveals

As mentioned in the last post, the update will be major, and I'm posting some progress to show you why. First, here are some images

Here is a remake completely of the snow world in a youtube video. This is a WIP version of it on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiGG-8kZpuQ&feature=youtu.be

While playing the game, or watching the trailer, you should notice so many differences.

Yes, those are 3D modeled backgrounds. I have most of the backgrounds redone, along with most of the blocks, the train, and some levels are being completely redone.

Truth be told, I considered this a finished game when the initial release came out...I can no longer say the same now.
