Murasaki Tsurugi is an explosive puzzle game in which you use chains of explosions to eradicate both enemies and their shots en masse. The game was developed by Katatema, known for their previously released indie titles Love Mochi, Irisu Syndrome!, Demon King Chronicle, and the previous entry in this series, Murasaki. The key point of Murasaki Tsurugi is how you eradicate the hail of bullets onscreen. Regardless of how proficient or inexperienced you may be with shooters, Murasaki Tsurugi is guaranteed to provide you with an all-new and amazingly fun experience.
As you shoot bullets to explode the blocks spread around the screen, the blocks will bump into each other and set off chain explosions, further expanding the range of your attacks. Use these chained explosions to rid the screen of the enemies and waves of bullets aiming to take you out as you guide Kairi and Satsuki to their destination. Additionally, the Collection system – one of the series’ main features – is once again present in this entry, allowing you to bring the whole story of Murasaki Tsurugi into shape as you fill up your collection while clearing the various stages.
While players of the original Murasaki will be able to enjoy this latest entry on an even deeper level, first-time players will also be able to immerse themselves in the story and gameplay and enjoy the game to its fullest. Please enjoy both the main game itself – created by the three original team members responsible for Murasaki: Tetsu, Yomogimochi, and Watson – as well as the original soundtrack and beautiful graphics. Additionally, you can now purchase the original soundtrack – containing all 18 tracks in their full versions – together with the main game as a set.
