After the release of“Murders on the Yangtze River”, many players have been asking about when the first DLC will be released and what it will be about.
Taking advantage of the Eastern Game Festival, we are very gald to reveal our DLC plans!
Firstly, what can we say about the first DLC?
As we all know, after the final case, Mr. Shen needs to temporarily leave Shanghai and recuperate in Yangzhou. During this time, someone is murdered in the midst of a magic performance in Lyceum Theater. Who is the murderer, and what conspiracies will be uncovered?
Currently, the main character in the DLC is tentatively the journalist Wen Ko-hsin, but Mr. Shen and Ah Fu will also play important roles in the DLC!
Of course, the above storyline is just a little tidbit of information. Changes to the storyline direction based on actual developments during game production are also very likely to occur.
We aim to elevate the suspense and freshness of the case, bringing a new gameplay experience and case design to everyone!
Secondly, when will the first DLC be released?
All we can say is, as soon as possible! In fact, after the Spring Festival, our team members have already intensively started learning various magic techniques and have even hired professional magicians as case design consultants.
According to plot designers, there is already an initial plan for the murder case, but of course, there is still a long way to go before the final version is ready to meet everyone. We will do our best to expedite!
Currently, we hope to meet everyone with the first DLC within the year!

It is highly likely! In fact, there are several mysteries in the main story that have not been revealed yet, such as who Shanghai Phantom is or if there are hidden secrets behind Ah Fu’s father’s explosion case.
These stories have been brewing in the minds of our team members for some time, and we hope to unveil them gradually.

The solution to the bug in the second half of Chapter Five
After updating the new storyline yesterday, we received feedback from some players that if they had already played up to Chapter Five before the update, they might encounter a display error during the deduction part at the London Police Department, which could prevent the game from continuing.
If you have encountered this issue, you can solve it by selecting the chapter from the main menu, then choosing Chapter Five and selecting the most recent chapter checkpoint to continue the game.
This bug occurs randomly, mainly due to some incompatibilities between old version saves and new version saves. We are currently working on fixing this issue and expect to release an update to resolve it next week.

Correcting and refining English names for all characters: We understand the importance of accurate and immersive character names, so we've taken the time to ensure that every character's name is appropriately translated and reflects their identity within the game.
Addressing translation issues: Polish sentences and wordings.
Changing language default settings: If your operating system language is not Chinese (simplified or traditional), the game's default language will be English.
Furthermore, we've included a brief conversation at the end of Chapter 5. This conversation provides clearer insight into the circumstances surrounding Shen Po-an's demise, offering players a more comprehensive understanding of the storyline.
We hope these updates enhance your gaming experience, and we're grateful for your continued support and feedback as we strive to make our game even better.
