  • Rival Ink Stock 24 graphics are now available on 2023-2024 KTM MX Bikes in stock and custom styles!

Fixes & Improvements

Physics

  • Fixed an issue which would cause the vehicles tires to sink into the ground when bottoming-out. This issue would then cause other undesirable behaviors to occur like suspension popping and poor hook-up in turns. Most driving behaviors are now more accurate and consistent, especially on MX Bikes.
  • Suspension, Chassis, and Traction tuning parts have been adjusted in response to the suspension changes. We recommend testing the suspension changes on a stock tune then adjusting the tuning to your preference.
  • Adjusted tire friction calculations so that the vehicle behaves more consistently when applying throttle, releasing throttle, or braking.
  • Increased contributions from Turning when using only the brake and turning to initiate a brake-slide.
  • Adjusted ATV power curves and vehicle weight to make ATVs feel more stable.
  • Greatly improved ATV suspension dampening and rebound to reduce bouncing and improve capabilities in whoops.
  • Improved UTV handling when sliding or cornering, and reduced likelihood of spinning out or doing a 180 when applying full brakes. A 180 can still be performed by applying just the rear brake.

Environment

  • Fixed split lane section in 2024 Washougal and added markers to clarify split.
  • Adjusted and cleaned-up 2024 Pro Motocross intro and results animations.
  • Moved lights off the track in 2024 Red Bud after track updates.
  • Moved lights off the Rawling's Cornfield pit bike track after lighting update.
  • Lowered intensity of light cast by jumbotrons and fixed the explosive lens flare from the jumbotron in Indianapolis SX.

Gameplay

  • AI reduce throttle when the colliding with other riders to decrease the amount of time they remain in contact “stuck” to other riders.
  • Adjusted input handling for rider elevation system. When going over bumps, elevation controls should not feel like they are inverting when going airborne between every bump.
  • The automatic gearbox will no longer shift during the clutch boost to maximize boost output.
  • Reduced reset time for UTVs.
  • UTVs no longer experience wrecks when from frame collisions except when upside-down.
  • Created new Series and Playlists which encompass each season of content from the Base Game to the end of Season 3.

  • When Spectating, the HUD now displays an estimated time until the end of the race.

  • Updated loading screen.
  • Added controls to speed-up or stop the Credits to down and up menu navigation.
  • Removed unused or outdated during info from Series.
  • Playlists containing un-owned DLC are now visible in the menu and display a lock icon. When selecting a playlist with missing DLC content, a menu will appear with a list of the missing DLC and links to the store.

Animation

  • Fixed grips clipping the handlebars in the Garage menu.
  • Improved blending between ATV rider body animations when leaning and cornering. And added more extreme left and right leaning poses for the ATV rider.
  • Adjusted speed thresholds for stand/sitting riding animations.
  • The rider now sits up a bit straighter and remains more upright when cornering unless leaning deliberately.
  • Improved rider body position when performing a seat bounce, especially right before going airborne.
  • The rider now moves more deliberately during bumps, take-offs, and landings.

MX vs ATV Legends - November Update!

Additions & Updates

Tracks

  • See Rawlings Farm in a whole new light! Snow and Night conditions have been added to Rawlings Farm tracks, and lighting in the Sunny, Morning, and Rainy conditions have been updated.

DLC

  • We're keeping the updates to the 2024 Supercross and Pro Motocross moving. 2024 Foxborough, Birmingham, Denver, and Salt Lake City are updated reflect the track on raceday, and so have 2024 RedBud and Loretta Lynn's.

Gameplay

  • By popular demand, the Volt and Hart Attack have been added to the library of stunts for MX and ATV!

Online

  • Playlist Matchmaking priorities have been adjusted to maximize the number of players on the server in order to reduce low population matches and increase competition. When matchmaking on Playlists, players will be placed on the server with the least amount of time before the event ends. This means that players will end up joining matches as a spectator more frequently, but the servers will have more players more often.

Customization

  • Head to the Locker to check out new helmet designs! 6D ATR-1 Solid, Stealth, and Split; Fox V3 RS Monster Energy and Red Bull; Alpinestars Supertech M10 Monster; and Thor Reflex Sportmode!
  • While you're there, check out new uniforms, including: Alpinestars Racer Hoen, Alpinestars Fluid Lurv, and Thor Sportmode Strike. Owners of OEM Vehicle DLC will get Race Team variants.
  • Throttle Syndicate Aero graphics are now available on 2023-2024 Honda MX Bikes!

  • The Reflex pack dynamic graphic kits now hide and reveal on a 5-second interval in the Garage.

Fixes & Improvements

Physics

  • Tweaked the automatic gearbox shift behavior to ensure maximum power output at each gear before shifting; affects all vehicles.
  • The change to improve interactions with sloped terrain is restored. The accuracy of these interactions has been slightly improved, and the instances of falling through or being ejected from the terrain are significantly reduced.
  • Instances of accidental scrubs when cornering should be significantly reduced, especially in bowl turns. This change should also prevent other unusual behaviors recently observed when scrubbing or railing berms.

Audio

  • Occurrences of engine audio stuttering and cutting out are significantly reduced.
  • Select between Current or Original engine sounds in the Audio settings. Current will use the new engine audio system we are continuing to develop and mature. Original uses the audio system that launched with the game. This setting only affects the engine audio system used by your vehicle, not AI nor Online opponents.

Gameplay

  • Stunt animations play correctly and are counted correctly when holding the stunt input and performing a one-shot (non-held) aerial stunt. If a one-shot stunt (ex: Bike Flip) is performed and the input remains held after the stunt completes, the stunt will be performed again.

Online

  • The blocks and bales swapped after the holeshot now have the correct state for all players, including for late-joining spectators.

UI

  • Addressed small inconsistencies and bugs across the Menu UI.

VFX

  • The color of the roost particles kicked up by the tires when driving more accurately reflect the color of the ground.
  • Fixed a bug causing the tire dust to appear white in some lighting conditions on the 2024 Supercross tracks.

Other

  • Fixed a bug causing crashes when transitioning between maps.
  • Fixed potential causes of crashes when navigating the Locker and Garage.
  • Fixed a rare crash when accessing the Playlist menu.

Known Issues

  • Frame rates exceeding 60 FPS may experience visual errors and inconsistent gameplay behaviors, especially when exceeding 120 FPS.
  • Stuttering or dropout may still occur in the engine audio. These issues will continue to be resolved as they are uncovered.
  • Shift sounds can still trigger at the incorrect revs. These issues are currently being addressed. More news to come as work progresses.

Hotfix Update 3.14 Now Available

Patch Notes

Fixes and Improvements

Gameplay

  • To quickly restore server stability and reduce the instances of riders falling through or being ejected from the terrain, the improvements to the tire tracking on the terrain added in Patch 3.09 have been rolled back temporarily. • Fixed issues with power band audio; throttle now responds correctly to engine RPM.
  • Fixed several other issues causing choppy engine audio.

Physics

  • Automatic gearbox timing and gear selection is improved for all vehicle classes. More improvements to come in future patches.

Series

  • AI are present when resuming a Series started before the addition of Series Settings, and the game no longer crashes when completing the race.
  • Terrain deformation is present when resuming a Series started before the addition of Series Settings.

Environment

  • Snow no longer appears on objects indoors.

We are actively continuing to find and fix the causes of this issue and need all the data we can get.
