The Easter Event Has Begun

From now until Wednesday, April 4, at 10:59 am CEST, you can turn your zoo into a blossoming oasis full of enchanting flowers, bushes and trees. The selection is huge and ranges from pinks over dandelions to pansies and cowslip; food and souvenirs are also provided for in form of Easter lambs and hand-painted Easter eggs.

Each decoration you set up will grant you a certain number of chocolate eggs; these will be tallied up at the end of the event, and you'll be awarded fantastic prizes based on how many you collected. Prizes include silver and cold boosters, the East Friesian Sheep known for its robustness and the Patagonian Mara, a close relative of the guinea pigs, native to the steppes of Argentina.

With enough chocolate eggs, you'll get both a male and female sheep and mara, allowing you to breeding adorable offspring in your zoo.

You can also surprise your friends with great items from the friendship shop, such as a mint-green silver poplar or a decorated birch.

Two by Two - Cute Baby Animals until March 14

It's time for another Twin Week! From now until Wednesday, March 14, at 10:59 am CET, you can look forward adorable animal twins with each successful breeding in My Free Zoo. Even if your breeding doesn't work out, you'll still get double experience points for it as a consolation prize. Babies born after the event ends will be not be twins anymore.

Museum Wallpapers!

Ferocious snarls and bestial roars echo across the plains as two mighty Tyrannosaurus clash in battle; icy snow sweeps across the tundra as a starving smilodon ambushes a shaggy herd of mammoths... a little bit of scenery can go a long way in bringing the past back to life!



You can now set the stage for your museum animals with four new wallpaper sets depicting scenes from the Modern Age, Ice Age, Tertiary and Cretaceous! These wallpapers are unlocked between levels 20-26 and can be used in your museum and any of your enclosure houses.

New Museum Animals for the Cretaceous

12 meters of muscle, weighing up to 7 tonnes - These gargantuan creatures could have skulls that were 1.5 meters long with 30 cm long teeth. Tyrannosaurs is one of the most impressive dinosaurs to have ever lived. Now you can get this bipedal apex predator for your zoo!



This is how it works: At museum level 7 you can unlock the Cretaceous. Send out paleontologists to find fossils of Cretaceous creatures. Once you have found enough fossil pieces of a given dinosaur, you can assemble the skeleton and put it up for display in your zoo or museum.

You can then begin using newly acquired fossil card pieces for research to obtain a living specimen. These prehistoric giants are sure to impress your visitors!

Before you can get tyrannosaurus fossils and animal pieces, you'll need complete skeletons of the previous dinosaurs: Ankylosaurus, Triceratops, Quetzalcoatlus and Plesiosaurus.

Plesiosaurus is likewise new in My Free Zoo. It lived in the ocean and had a long, broad body, paddle-shaped fins, a long neck and a small head. It is believed to have primarily eaten fish and grew to be up to 5 meters long.

Rawr! New dinosaurs for your museum!

New fossils have been found! Pack your digging equipment and head on over to the Natural History Museum!

Players that have unlocked the Cretaceous and have completed fossils of the Ankylosaurus, Triceratops and Quetzalcoatlus can now find fossils of two new dinosaurs!



Plesiosaurus
Large marine reptiles, Plesiosaurs lived during the early part of the Jurassic period. Growing to be roughly 3.5 meters in length, they had broad, turtle-like bodies, small heads, long necks and two pairs of large paddles.
It will take you 14 fossil pieces to complete a skeleton, and 16 animal card pieces to bring this mighty creature back to life.

Tyrannosaurus Rex
Probably the most iconic and well-known dinosaur, Tyrannosaurus rex was one of the last non-avian dinosaurs. These gargantuan beasts were likely apex predators in their time. The largest complete specimen was over 12 meters long.
It will take you 15 fossil pieces to complete a skeleton, and 18 animal card pieces to bring this imposing giant back to life.

The Hit Zoo Celebrates its 6th Anniversary

It started six years ago today - with a small zoo and a big dream. Zoo director Welmington opened his first zoo. He laid paths, built an enclosure and put his first animal up for display: a cute little sheep.

Since then, the tiny zoo has evolved into an animal lover's paradise. There are now over 250 animals in My Free Zoo, even prehistoric giants such as dinosaurs and woolly mammoths.

New Friendship Gift: Wilson's Bird-of-Paradise

Native to Indonesia, the colorful Wilson's Bird-of-Paradise was first described in 1850; however, they were not caught on film until 1996.

We're pleased to announce another new addition to the friendship shop: Wilson's Bird-of-Paradise!

You can now send pieces of this magnificent bird to your friends for 5 Diamonds/piece (takes 18 pieces to complete). This beautiful bird will add a splash of color to your aviaries! The Small Aviary is available in the shop at level 40 for 200,000 ZD, but if your friends aren't high enough level yet, you can also send them pieces for a Small Aviary at level 10 and up (6 Diamonds/piece; 12 pieces required).

Cute Baby Twins For Your Zoo!

Only until Wednesday, January 31: Twin Week!

Enchant your zoo visitors with adorable animal twins! Be it elephants, lions, meerkats or one of the other more than 250 animals - from now until Wednesday, January 31, at 10:59 am CET, you'll get cute twin animals for every successful breeding in My Free Zoo! But even if your breeding fails, you'll still get twice the experience points as a consolation prize.



Note: Your breedings must complete before Wednesday, January 31, at 10:59 am CET so that you can get twins. After this point, you will just get one baby. So make sure to consider how long the breeding takes!
