NEW Monster: Gnarls
Alas, the final Amber Island Wave is upon us, and with it comes the long-awaited Plant Quint-Element Monster, Gnarls! This milti-organism being is both “bigger” and “smaller” than any of the other Quint Monster, and is actually controlled by two Gnarl consciousnesses. All of Gnarls’ individual components synchronously conjoin to form a “mouth” with which it produces its hauntingly beautiful sound. Once its vocals are finished, the parasitic vines disassemble and the tree-being returns to its dual cognizant state, grateful that it was able to make music in the Monster World.

The coiffed and classy Rare Version of this athletic and musical sportsMon debuts with one of the most elaborate hair-dos in the Monster World! Its fans are crafted by hand and with care to ensure a sharp, eclectic sound when it performs on the Island. These ornate fans can also double as marshaling wands to ensure flying visitors can land safely and comfortably!

New Mythical: Anglow

Lurking in the deep depths of the Monstriana Trench, this barrel-eyed buddy never fails to put big, bright smiles on the faces of its audience. Paired with its pals, like Anemonons, Glimmerglaws, and Jlelljiggles, the ambiguous Anglow is always waiting to put on a fantastical light show just for you! When Anglow isn't bringing amazing light shows to the creatures of the deep, you might find it hunting the waters for treats like pizza and cupcakes! But when the sky is clear, and its stomach is full, the Mythical of Water Island prefers to gaze at the stars, nebulas, and planets of the cosmos (and it’s even rumored that Anglow may have originated from there too!).
NEW Dreamythical: Pinghound
Another Dreamythical has come into being, this time in the form of a domesticated creature known only as the “Pinghound.” This Monster is known for being loyal to their Mythical companions, and sometimes even slightly territorial. Much like its Mythical counterpart, Pinghound communicates with its surroundings by combining light and sound to create a luminous and musical display. There’s no doubt you’ll be in awe when you cross paths with this quirky quadruped.

NEW Obstacles-Decorations: Cloverspell
With a new Seasonal Event comes new Obstacle-Decorations! You’ll feel luckier than a four-leaf clover with Cloverspell’s newest additions. These “Treefoils” can only grow around the time of the vernal equinox, and once the Event is over, the fallen timber is transformed into Ffidyll’s new fiddle! The rocks, on the other hand, are a little trickier… it seems that the magic derived from the air during Cloverspell enchants some sleepy trolls and gnomes which like to move the rocks to various places on the Island! Some believe that these beings are the life of the paddy.
NEW: Dipsters on Faerie Island
Dippity-do, they’re coming for you! Dipsters have officially joined the Faerie Island chorus! Be sure to check out how these ground-dwelling Monsters add quite the enchanting and Faerie-ful sound to the Magical Island’s tune.
NEW: Cold Island Conundrum
The Cold Island CONUNDRUM is here, along with optimizations and improvements to the Colossal Conundra feature! The Coloss-Eye is now available for free from the beginning, and once placed on your island, will operate as your base of operations for collecting puzzle pieces and rewards! As more pieces are collected, the obelisk will be restored bit by bit to its full potential. Additionally, we've rebalanced the daily rewards to include helpful BOOSTS tied to the Conundrum's island. You can view which Boosts are active in the Info menu of that island.
NEW Monster: Tuskski
Amber Island Wave 13 brings back some familiar faces, but also some new ones! Meet Tuskski, the chilled-out, laid back Quint who proudly offers its services to other Island Monsters as a private snow maker! Tuskski enjoys spending its time on the snow-covered mountains, uprooting snow and trees to keep its back nice and chilly. It also enjoys speeding down snowy hills to participate in “ten pine bowling,” a favorite pastime of the mammoth-sized Monster.
NEW Monster: Rare Edamimi
You may have noticed that the Rare Edamimi is quite the radical departure from the appearance and attitude of its Common relative. These Rare Monsters are often referred to as “Gloomy Blooms,” as they don a bit of cynicism and can be snide at times. But, we assure you, the Rare Edamimi will grow on you - especially through their dance moves.

What’s New New Mythical: Hyehehe

A ‘Suitably’ stupendous (and suspicious) surprise awaits: the second of the Ultimate Creator Experience Mythical Monsters has arrived in the Monster World! Please join the Monster-Handlers in welcoming the Hyehehe to Earth Island and Mythical Island… well, most of the Monster-Handlers anyway. This triple-eared trickster loves to prank others, and has taken a liking to terrorizing Monster-Handler Matt in particular; as such, this Mythical has replaced the Epic Maw as Matt’s Public Enemy #1 in the Monster World (we jest, of course!). In reality, it was a laugh riot (and a lot of fun) to help bring Ultimate Creator Quinn’s creativity to life - and that’s no joke!
NEW Monster: Epic Humbug
This Epic Ethereal served a pivotal role in Hyehehe’s escape from the Temple of Hahoo, thanks to its buzzing wings that can open supersonic interdimensional highways. They’re even powerful enough to crack open the gateway to the dreamspace - a feat previously thought impossible other than through the arcane magic of dreamcraft! It’s only fitting that the fifth and final of the base Epic Ethereals gets discovered during the Season of Love, as the first-ever Epic Ethereal, the Epic Ghazt, was discovered in the Season of Love 2 years ago!
NEW Dreamythical: Wheezel
What the Henge?! That has got to be one of the weirdest Monsters we’ve ever seen - but it makes more sense when you consider that it sprang from the imagination of the Earth Island Mythical. Just like Hyehehe, the Dreamythical Wheezel is adorned with the symbols of card suits from the human world, and is based on one of the most classic pranks in any dimension of the multiverse - the jack-in-the-box! We hope that Ultimate Creator Quinn is as surprised as we were!

NEW: Carillong on Magical Sanctum
We’ve been anxiously waiting a whole year for Carillong to make its home Island debut, and it sure did not disappoint! The Monsters of Magical Sanctum welcomed Carillong with open arms and were thrilled when the magic of the Monster’s Chimekeeper decorated the Enchantler Titan in the spirit of Crescendo Moon! Carillong really “chimes” in and adds a certain feeling of tranquility and eloquence to the Magical Sanctum song, making all the Monsters feel inspired for all of the exciting things coming in the year ahead! It’s worth noting that Carillong is not currently teleportable to Seasonal Shanty at Level 15, but it won’t be that way forever! The Monster-Handlers have encountered some conflicts in interdimensional magic but are confident that they will be able to correct this in a future update!
NEW Monster: Rare Xyster
Lacking the elongate antlers of the Common Xyster, this Rare Magical nevertheless has adapted itself to collect the thoughts of nearby beings. That said, it sets its sights on a much bigger target than mere Monsters - it can listen in on the ruminations of Enchantler itself! The Rare Xyster is able to accomplish this via various villi covering its body that maximize surface contact as it tunnels through the pores of the Titan.
NEW: Crescendo Moon Seasonal Obstacle-Decorations
Magical Sanctum has been beautifully decorated with brand new Obstacle-Decorations to celebrate the festivities that Crescendo Moon has to offer! Vases containing groves of lucky bamboo (which isn’t actually bamboo, but a species called Mon-drake-aena!) and gilded pots containing resplendent red fortune fruit help to transform Magical Sanctum into the ultimate Crescendo Moon celebration!

The next of our Seasonal Island Skins is available - Crescendo Moon Skin for Magical Sanctum! This time of year is marked by a period of efflorescence - winter cherries and peonies miraculously take root on the normally fallow landscape. As paper lanterns sway overhead and the glow of the Titan's antlers is reflected in the beautiful cloisonné pin, you can't help but feel that this year is going to be YOUR year!
NEW: Krystillium Castles on Ethereal Island and Magical Sanctum
For the first time ever, Islands in the Pocket Dimension are getting Crystalline Castles! These structures are made from the especially rare mineral, “Krystillium,” which served as the prototype template for Pyrozite in the main dimension! You may notice the Castles have subtle differences in appearance on each Island, adding some “homey” touches of the Enchanter’s miniature antlers on Magical Sanctum, and otherworldly landscape elements from Ethereal Island. Your Monsters sure will be cozy in their new homes!
