What's New?
When multiplayer goes live, players can now expect to enjoy certain in-game social interactions (two to be exact) in ANOTHER DIMENSION! The "My Time at Virtual Reality Dimension™!" For 99% of gameplay, players will simply enjoy the game via PC, unchanged from the normal multiplayer mode. But once you click the option to hug or kiss an NPC or other player, it's time to SUIT UP and enter ANOTHER DIMENSION!
First, look directly at the Pathea VR Headset to get your Face ID scanned, then place four of your fingers on each hand on the fingerprint reader. Give a little blood sample, and then finally, say the activation code, "I love Pathea!" while reaching your hands to the sky! This will activate your Pathea VR Headset for use, and you can safely put it on.
Then SUIT UP in the Pathea VR Bodysuit, which is designed for maximum comfort by these cool mall guys; I'll tell you about them later. Once you're fully SUITED UP, the game will resume, and you will FEEL the warm embrace of your friends or in-game romanceable candidate as your body suit and goggles both heat up to a maximum of 180 degrees celsius!
As soon as the hug or kiss is over, you must remove the Pathea VR Bodysuit and Pathea VR Headset in order to continue playing the game with a keyboard and mouse again.
Note: Players only have 45 seconds upon clicking "hug" or "kiss" to activate their Pathea VR Bodysuit and Pathea VR Headset. Failing to activate the Bodysuit and Headset will result in the deletion of all files on the local hard drive.
About the Technology
We're very proud to announce a partnership between ourselves and some dudes who hang out at the mall next to our office building who wear trenchcoats and talk about hacking stuff all the time (they seem super legit) as we come out with our very own Pathea VR hardware!
In order to launch the game, a special Pathea brand VR headset* ($799.99) and VR bodysuit ($12,999.99) will be required. Other VR hardware will not be supported.

Sequel to Portia begins the multiplayer test

The multiplayer open pre-alpha starts now, where you can invite up to 3 other friends to work, build, travel, fight, and dungeon dive together!
Before you play, just want to let you know the multiplayer version has a compressed timeline and separate story. You can encounter familiar characters from the single-player storylines while experiencing various historical events that happened in the town of Sandrock.
Launch the game and opt for “Play Multiplayer” to start the new journey with your friends right now!

The Open pre-alpha will last a week from now to Sep. 26th.

Awaiting multiplayer open test is available from September 19th to 26th. All Early Access players will have the chance to experience Sandrock's new multiplayer mode. In this mode, you can experience "buildings turn into groups for action, collaboration or competition with friends in the desert."
As for multiplayer, it sets in the unique story mod but uses a similar background with a compressed timeline, Multiplayer can be played alone. The timeline is compressed in an alternative way. It covers events over a period of about 50 years. The story gives you an idea of what happened, but it's not exact, and NPCs you know will appear.
You can build a team with your friends, this allows 4 players to join a town together. Competing or cooperating with friends to make some changes in Sandrock. You can share your resources, machines, or something…else. Or you can travel with your friends to the desert city and enjoy the beautiful Sands together... definitely build and play together and create good memories with your friends!
