Hi everyone! First of all, let me apologize for the lack of support and feedback. We will be the first to admit that we have not held our side of the bargain, we have not hosted Mystica as reliably as you all deserve and for that we are deeply sorry. We don't intend on letting the project and all the hard work go to waste! To (hopefully) start to make it up to all you amazing people we have updated the Steam version to now include a copy of the server program. There is a new launcher that will offer to start your own server as well as add custom server links to that you can host a copy of the game if you so desire and players can save your server’s URL/IP address. That way, at least for the time being, the game can live on through you guys. However, with this change your accounts will have been lost and our server shut down. We are sorry to everyone and we are thankful that you have stuck with us while we struggled to keep everything up.
Here are a couple of important controls as you look to start up your own server: After you sign into your server, you can right-click your name and set yourself as an admin After you have set yourself as an admin, inside the game window you can hit the [INS] key to access all of the server tools You can find more information on the game engine at https://www.eclipseorigins.com/
All of that said, I don’t want you all to think we are going the way of disco quite yet. Bread Vision is being rebooted for the new decade! We are excited to start working on new projects and updates for you guys. One of the projects currently on our table is Mystica 2.0! We are completely rebuilding and redesigning Mystica with a modern engine, design, and networking techniques. We want Mystica to be a game that is not only a fun, chill, and nostalgic experience; but be a game with modern conveniences, expandability, features, and above all stability! I cannot give any hard and fast dates on this new version, only that it is very much in the works and we hope to be sharing it soon.
We are getting ready to launch the new Bread Vision website as we start ourselves back up. We are going to work to get back in your good graces. I know you have heard this a lot from us… Please give us just a little more time to get ourselves in order and to get moving again. There will be more news coming down the pipe soon so please be on the lookout.
Update 1/20/17
I've added bank tabs. Something I've been wanting for a while. I'll be working to add more content any time I can. I'm really sorry about how inactive I've been. I'm not giving up on Mystica though :) it's still my baby.
Back in Debug Mode
Over the last two months we've been seeing the server crash from time to time. It's for this reason that the server is going into debug mode again. Nothing in game will change. This just means that when the server crashes I'll be able to know what code caused it and I can fix it on the spot. If you know of a game breaking bug please email us about it so we can get it all patched up. :)
Client Update 5/12/2016
This new client has a new option that lets you lock your movement while you're typeing. This option is for players who want to use WSAD and dont want to move around when they're talking to others.There are also a few graphical fixes here and there.

Update for levels ~40-45
We've just released 6 new maps west of Frey city including 2 dungeons, 2 new fish, lots of new monsters to fight, and some new monster drop only items.

Fixed a small issue with "Other" type items and a bunch of little issues with the inventory and skills windows
Updates 5/3/2016
I updated the client and the server to fix an issue that made it hard to see how many of an item you had in a stack if the stack was at the bottom and I fixed an issue with the books. There are still not books in the game at this time but a bug was stopping our testing book items to fail.
Fishing Update
I've added 4 new fish, 4 new fishing rods, and lots of fishing spots all over.
If you're into fishing like I am there's a lot of gold to be made selling fish to other players.
Connection fix update
Our server's domain records seem to be messed up. I've changed the config file in the latest update to hopefully fix the issue that some new players are having connecting. Update your game to the latest version and let me know if it worked out. :)
Server Status
I'd like to confirm that the server is infact online and players are able to connect. However, quite a few of you seem to be having troubles. If you're a player that can't connect and would allow us to evaluate the situation from your computer over teamviewer please email us at admin@breadvisionstudios.com It would really help us get this problem solved a bit sooner. In the time being, we're going to be doing everything we can to figure out what's wrong and make sure connections from all over the world to us are possible.
