I hope you're all doing well! I wanted to take a moment to share some important news regarding my game development plans.
After careful consideration and feedback from the community, I've made the decision to suspend the development of Mystical Conquests for the time being. Instead, I'm shifting my focus to a new project called Mystical Tactics.
Mystical Tactics is a smaller-scale game centered around the tactical battles of MC but with a roguelike structure (similar to Into The Breach or other games), offering a different experience with the same core gameplay. I'm using the same engine, which means the work I put into Tactics will also benefit Conquests in the long run.
If enough revenue is generated with its release, it could help the development of Conquests by allowing me to hire more contractors (for graphic, translations, marketing, …) or even to work full-time on the game (let me dream :p).
I understand this may come as a surprise, but I truly believe this decision will benefit both projects in the long term. Mystical Conquests is really my dream project and I want to deliver the best possible game that I can create to all of you.

Hi everyone,
Today I pushed an update fixing a nasty bug introduced in version 0.1.9 which was corrupting save files and causing various crashes in the game. The big problem is that every save files made with the version 0.1.9 is corrupted and shouldn't be used because the bug can't be fixed retroactively. I'm not sure everything is fixed so please tell me on the Steam forum or on Discord if you encounter other bugs with the new version on a fresh new game.

Based on your feedback and further testing on my part, I decided to make death in battle less punitive. On the other end, I hope it doesn't make the game too trivial. Feel free to tell me what you think about these changes.
Patch notes
Wound system : when a characters falls in combat, he now becomes wounded instead of dying immediately. Wounds reduce Max HP, heals over time, and can kill permanently the character if he has too much
A new world site : the "Dark Church" which allows to resurrect dead characters for a fee
A new Unlocks window on the main menu to keep track of the achievements

Demo 0.1.6 : Unlock system
Hi everyone,
Thanks to your feedback, I made a new update for the demo of Mystical Conquests.
The main new feature is the "Unlock system", which allows to start a new game with different classes once they are unlocked. To unlock a class, you have to obtain (or train) a character with this class in a game at least once.
