October 14th Update

Hello new and returning champions!


Today a substantial update is being pushed out that resolves a lot of issues, as well as changes some features that were not given enough care. You may scroll to the bottom of the page for the patch notes.

Let's begin with the biggest change -- Augments.

Augments


Augments were heavily underappreciated and neglected during initial design and in release on Steam. This is no longer the case. Orbs and Glyphs are now extremely detailed and provide a multitude of benefits for your champions to utilize on their weapons and armors.
Weapons may now only have up to two orbs on them at any time, except for the F Rank Weapons, which may only have up to one.
Armors may now only have up to one glyph on them at any time.

Pro Mode


Pro Mode is a new option that has been added to the options menu which you can access from either the Main Menu or the Champion Menu. With Pro Mode enabled, you will not be prompted to any beginner prompts or any other prompt which is set to warn players of challenging aspects they may or may not be ready for.


Enemies


The arena has received the care it needed. All enemies now function properly and have attack animations which were badly needed.
On to the battles aspect, When you complete a rank you will be allowed access to fight in the Rank+ battles, where you face off against the same enemies from the corresponding rank, except they are twice as strong and drop better items.

Misc. Fixes and Changes


Aside from these three new things being the biggest and impactful changes to the game going forward, there are a few notable fixes and changes that you may find to be good news.
By default on a complete fresh start of the game (or if you delete your config.rpgsave from the saves folder), BGM Volume is defaulted to 10%.
Volume control settings are now by increments of 10 instead of 20.
More prompts for beginners have been added to inform them of features which they will want to take use of. The notable example being Hires.
Denira has access to her Holy spells so long as she has a weapon equipped. If you are using a save from before this update, you will have to purchase a new weapon for Denira.

✪ Attack animations for enemies
✪ Rank+ battles after a rank is cleared. These battles are twice as hard.
✪ More beginner prompts to let players know of things they shouldn't miss out on
✪ Pro Mode option to ignore beginner prompts and warning prompts
✪ Information about possible lag whilst playing the game
✪ Modifier that lessens the amount of EXP you gain by a percentage from enemies of lower ranks

CHANGED:
✪ Orbs have been revamped
✪ Weapons may only have up to two Orbs on them now (F Rank unaffected)
✪ Armors may only have up to one Glyph on them now
✪ Lowered Ralph's base DEF
✪ Ralph's base Crit Rate is now 1%
✪ Increased Denira's base ATK (again?)
✪ Lowered ATK values of all axes
✪ Removed Gold Window from Character Select Screen
✪ Gold Window disables while talking to other characters
✪ Disabled typesound in messages
✪ Lessened amount of events in an attempt to reduce Battle Results Lag
✪ Volume for all sounds is now 10 by default. You may delete config.rpgsave from your saves folder to restore the default options
✪ Options Volume offset is now 10 instead of 20.
✪ Chain Attack now hits twice before checking if it hits more times
✪ Unlocked Skills that provide battle effects are now known as Static and can be used with any weapon equipped

FIXED:
✪ Bats now have a chance to drop Bat Guano
✪ Shiny Power now has information as to what it does
✪ Coldspot and Hotspot damage formulas are now affected by your Rank Wins
✪ Second Wind is no longer permanent
✪ Shine Blast now works properly
✪ Denira now has access to her Holy spells (Heal, Revive, etc)
✪ All Champions now have proper access to Chain Whip Skills
✪ Imps no longer Boast for no reason.
✪ Mage Robes are now Bodygear instead of Accessory
✪ Revive skill Learn no longer costs an annoying amount of Angel's Kisses
✪ You will now be properly informed when you can receive a reward from The Champion
✪ MP Regen state now properly returns 10% of maxMP

OTHER:
✪ Minor text fixes

October 5th Update

Hey there champions! An update is being pushed for Mythic Victory Arena today. This update fixes a few bugs that were overlooked on release and adds some new things to make your experience much more enjoyable while playing.

Patch Notes


ADDED:
✪ New Save menu
✪ Save Prompt Option to the options menu
✪ EXP Modifier added to Level up Rewards. The modifier increases based on the Champion's level
✪ Shutdown option to main menu
✪ Exp popup in battle
✪ AC window to all non-battle menus so you know how much AC you have at all times
✪ Added text to Skills in Skill Shop to inform players what weapon a skill is for (no text means you should always be able to use them as long as you have a weapon equipped)

CHANGED:
✪ Disabled Animated Enemies to reduce battle lag (This does not fix Battle Results lag)
✪ Healing spells are no longer Holy
✪ Paralysis is now turn based instead of action based
✪ Set Item number identifiers for F Rank Rewards
✪ Buffed EXP Rank Reward option a tiny bit
✪ Starting amount of AC is now 750, no variance
✪ Rank Rewards have more options now
✪ Level up Rewards have been trimmed
✪ Increased Denira's Base ATK

FIXED:
✪ Denira's artwork
✪ Credits Menu
✪ Bestiary Menu
✪ Story Mode option is now persistent
✪ All Mage Champions did not have access to any mage skills. This has been rectified
✪ Shutdown option from Champion Menu works as intended now
✪ Hotspot and Coldspot are now influenced by Critical Hits
✪ Centered more non-centered choice menus
✪ Leora is no longer Drel

OTHER:
✪ Minor text fixes
