The servers of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT will be suspended for maintenance from Aprile 28th, 2025 at 23:00 (UTC) to April 29th, 2025 at 04:00 (UTC). We suggest you log out in advance and enter the game again after the maintenance.
The details for this update are as follows:
Brand New Content
I. New Mechanism - Yang Spirit Line
1. Gameplay Info:
Yang Spirit Line will spawn during the battle. Capturing it grants Sunwing's Strength and randomly drops combat items (Longsword Tome, Greatsword Tome, Dagger Tome, Dual Blades Tome, Katana Tome).
When Yang Spirit Line disappears, players within its range will be afflicted with Yang Depletion (players with the power of beasts or the Sunwing's Strength are immune to its effect).
A certain number of Bloom Essence mechanism will spawn within the area. Interacting with them will remove Yang Depletiont for the entire team and drop additional resources.
2. Available Mode: The Herald's Trial, Quick Match and Bot Mode
3. Sunwing's Strength Effect:
Picking it up instantly restores a certain amount of Health, Armor and Rage for allied units, and restores Health by a certain percentage when the entire team attacks. When the holder of Sunwing's Strength has their Health reduced to 0, Mortal Defiance will be triggered once.
When the holder of Sunwing's Strength dies, it will drop Yangbloom Essence, granting the collector Sunwing's Strength and removing Yang Depletion.
Sunwing's Strength has a fixed total duration, which will be cleared at a fixed time during the battle.
4. Yang Spirit Line and Bloom Essence mechanism will disappear after not being interacted with for a certain period of time.
5. The effect of the power of beasts and the Sunwing's Strength are mutually exclusive. When one of these effects is active, you cannot gain the other.
6. Longsword Tome, Greatsword Tome, Dagger Tome, Dual Blades Tome, Katana Tome effects description: Using it casts powerful Golden Focus. The combat item will not be consumed but will be on cooldown, and will disappear after a certain period of time during the battle.
7. Moonbane Charms cannot be used to place Banebreath inside the Yang Depletion area for Yang Spirit Lines.
II. New Mechanism - Realm of Spirit
1. Introduction
During the battle, the Realm of Spirit will be available 120 seconds after the first Shadow Corruption spread concludes. Spectating players whose team still has surviving teammates can participate in Realm of Spirit via the spectator interface. Players must seize Rebirth Banner within the Realm of Spirit. When the Realm of Spirit is over, the player holding Rebirth Banner will be granted Rebirth qualification.
2. Available Mode: The Herald's Trial, Duos and Trios in Quick Match
3. Others
a. Players in the Realm of Spirit cannot use Ultimate skills.
b. Vermillion Bird's Might is ineffective against players in the Realm of Spirit.
c. Players in the Realm of Spirit cannot initiate or respond to Vertical Blink Strike.
III. Season Exclusive: Ignis Treasure
1. The Ignis Treasure is priced at 360 Gold. Open for a chance to obtain rewards like Tarka Ji Extreme Outfit [Infernal Armor] and the Flying Knives Extreme Skin [Emperor's Flamewheel].
2. While you have the outfit [Infernal Armor] equipped, there will be a Return to Ashes effect when you defeat enemies. Cannot be Imprinted: When in rapid movement, charging, or performing a charged attack, different special forms can be triggered.
3. Equipping Polesword Extreme Skin [Emperor's Flamewheel] changes the Attack Effects of the Souljade [Moonshards Storm]. Shows [Roaming Blades] effects when standing still or walking. The flame pattern will ignite again during combat.
4. Minimum Guarantee:
(1) Players are guaranteed to receive at least 1 Red (Extreme) reward during the process of opening at most 100 Treasures. This can be triggered multiple times. Red (Extreme) rewards will not repeat until all of them have been obtained.
(2) Legendary Cosmetic Minimum Guarantee: Within the first 25 Treasures opened, you are guaranteed to get either a Hero Outfit or a Weapon Skin. Subsequently, within every 25 Treasures opened, you are guaranteed to obtain a Legendary cosmetic that you have not yet unlocked. This guarantee can be triggered up to 14 times.
(3) Wishing Legendary Reward: If you draw an Extreme cosmetic, you can set a Legendary cosmetic which will be guaranteed when you draw a Legendary cosmetic next time. Times of guarantee can stack, but you can only set 1 cosmetic each time. If the Legendary Cosmetic Guarantee and Wishing Legendary Reward trigger simultaneously, priority is given to the Wishing Legendary Reward cosmetic and will reduce the number of remaining times that the Legendary Cosmetic Guarantee can be triggered by one.
5. Ignis Treasure 50% Discount Voucher
The first 10 Ignis Treasure that you buy will benefit from a 50% discount. This discount cannot be stacked with discounts from other discount vouchers. After 10 Ignis Treasure have been purchased, subsequent Ignis Treasure will return to their standard price.
6. Ignis Treasure will be available on Apr. 28, 2025 at 04:00 (UTC)!
After the server opens, players can preview content early, but the Spring Lantern·Hua will remain locked until the specified time.
The Star-Collection unlocks at the same time as the Spring Lantern·Hua.
IV. Single-edged Weapon Skill
Heng Sword & Katana: After using an air blast to block any opponent's common attack or focus strikes, you can follow up a powerful move at the right timing. If the sudden slash is fully unleashed, it will deal its maximum damage.
V. Limited-time Event: Trial by Flame
Event Time: From the update on April 29, 2025 to May 21, 2025 at 20:00 (UTC)
Event Content:
1. Players who complete the daily Cultivation Quests will receive Stone of Flame, which can be used to aid Tarka Ji in his cultivation.
2. Each object has different cultivation progress. When the cultivation progress reaches 50%, players will receive the cultivation rewards of the corresponding object.
3. When the cultivation progress of an object reaches 99%, the Breakthrough Quest will be unlocked. Compleing the Breakthrough Quest grants the Liquor of Lava, which can be used to help Tarka Ji overcome his inner demons. Players will then receive breakthrough rewards and unlock the complete storyline related to these inner demons.
4. Complete the breakthrough of all inner demons to assist Tarka Ji in conquering Fire Omnius, and rise reborn from the ashes.
VI. Limited-time Events: Infernal Reckoning
1. Event Duration: Extended to May. 7, 2025 20:00 (UTC)
2. Rewards may only be redeemed up until May. 14, 2025 20:00 (UTC)
3. Added Chaos Stones and other rewards that can be exchanged for.
VII. Ignis Treasure with Bonus Star - Collections

Event Rules
1. When opening Ignis Treasures, there is a chance to receive the Staff Extreme Skin, Star - Aegis Reckoning and the Valda Cui Legendary Outfit, Star - Azure Silk.
2. How to obtain: Each time you open an Ignis Treasure, there is a chance to obtain them as an additional reward. This chance increases as you obtain more Legendaries. The Maximum chance is 100%
3. The chances for the 2 Star-Collections are calculated separately and do not impact each other. After getting a Star-Collection, the corresponding chances will then reset.
4. Each account can receive a maximum of 10 [Star - Aegis Reckoning] and 2 [Star - Azure Silk].
5. The number of Star-Collections that can be obtained from Ignis Treasures is limited.

Hero Adjustments
I. Tarka Ji
1. Adjustments to [Flame Force]:
Use a defensive stance to block hit damage and recover stamina.
· After successfully blocking any damage, you can tap the horizontal attack button to counterattack, [Burning] enemies and heavily staggering them.
·After blocking damage, you can also tap the vertical attack button to counterattack, dealing relatively high AOE damage and [Burning] enemies in the aimed direction.
2. Reduced the start-up frames for adjudicating [Flame Force]'s hit damage block effect.
3. The defensive focus level of [Flame Force: Fireball] has been changed to Golden Focus while casting.
4. Adjustments to the ultimate [Fire Frenzy]:
Significantly improves Tarka's agility, and some moves will also deal hit damage and [Burn] enemies, can be used under attack.
· Tarka blocks ranged weapon attacks when running.
·Can consume Rage to use [Flame Force] repeatedly.
· Can also become [Overheated] while this ultimate is active, which happens when Tarka's Heat maxes out.

5. Adjustments to the ultimate [Fire Frenzy: Extend]:
Significantly improves Tarka's agility and increases his Attack damage. Some moves will also deal hit damage and [Burn] enemies. Can be used under attack.
· Tarka blocks ranged weapon attacks when running and builds rage when attacking enemies.
· Increases all allied heroes' attack.
· Can also become [Overheated] while this ultimate is active, which happens when Tarka's Heat maxes out.
· Attacking or being attacked grows Heat. Once it reaches max, become [Overheated] for 20 sec, changing 2nd-stage dodges into knee strikes and gaining increased Stamina recovery. Tapping the vertical attack button after a knee strike will cause Tarka to dash forward and smash an enemy.
6. Adjusted the duration of Ultimate [Fire Frenzy: Extend] from 25 seconds in Duos and Trios, 20 seconds in Solo to 22 seconds in Duos and Trios, 18 seconds in Solo, but the efficiency of Rage recovered from attacks has been increased from 65% to 100%.
7. Increased the knockback range of Ultimate [Fire Frenzy] and [Fire Frenzy: Extend] when they are activated, and adjusted their damage multiplier from 1.0 to 0.1.
8. Slightly increased the staggered duration when the 2nd-stage dodge (Elbow Strike) hits the target during the Ultimate, making it combo into most weapons’ Crouch Verical Strike, and adjusted the damage multiplier from 1.5 to 1.3. 10. Skill [Flame Force: Block] has been removed.
11. Ultimate [Fire Frenzy: Reload] has been removed.
II. Yueshan
Further narrowed the vertical detection range when Yueshan casts his Ultimate.
III. Temulch
1. Temulch no longer has the basic feature to ignore enemies’ Storm Prison. After casting his Ultimate, the entire team can resist the debuff of enemies’ Storm Prison.
2. When Temulch passes through enemies’ Storm Prison, he no longer automatically reloads his windball.
IV. Kylin Zhang
Adjusted the damage multiplier of Ultimate [Qilin Slash: Rend’s] charged strikes from 3.0 to 2.8.

Adjust the basic value of [Light's Mercy] in Solo/Trios from 1500/1800 to 1200/1500.
VI. Lannie

The details for this update are as follows:
Brand New Content
I. New Showdown Gameplay: Tempered Inferno
In the Soul-forging Abyss hidden in the Shadowjade Mine, the "Chaos Furnace" that once refined the legendary weapons of the Herald used to be alight day and night. However, under the mad scheme of Omnius, a drastic change occurred.
After Omnius's plan to revert the Five Phases back to primordial chaos was foiled by the heroes, some formless chaotic Qi escaped and seeped into the Chaos Furnace. A bursting of energy flooded out because of the imbalanced Five Elements within, attracting countless evil spirits into action. Thus, a battle to protect the furnace began.
In this crisis, the heroes used Chaos Stones crafted by the Chaos Furnace to forge Curios imbued with the powers of Yin and Yang. These Curios then became their weapons to slay demons and eradicate evils.
However, as the energy of the Chaos Furnace continued to leak, the furnace fire gradually weakened. The heroes who sought more Curios could only wait for the Five Phases True Qi to return to balance on the Morus Isle before they could once again awaken the Furnace.
Defeat waves of enemies, claim numerous prizes, and revel in the power of the Curios!
II. New Showdown Item: Curio
Each hero has two Curio slots: Yin and Yang. One Curio can be equipped in each slot.
1. Crafting Curios
Chaos Stones, acquired in Tempered Inferno, can be used to craft Curios. There are two kinds of Curio crafting: Random Craft and Targeted Craft.
[Random Craft]:
[Random Craft] produces a random Curio of the current season, and builds XP to boost its Crafting level.
[Targeted Craft]:
Once you have raised a given Curio to Lv. 1, you'll be able to choose to craft that Curio using [Targeted Craft].
At the end of the season, Curios will be reclaimed, but Crafting Levels will be retained. In following seasons, players with Crafting levels will be able to craft Curios from past seasons. From time to time we will hold Rerun Events for players who missed out.
During the season, each Curio Crafting level you upgrade will increase the season progress by 1. Season progress rewards include Flux Shards, Curio crafting materials and more!
2. Curio Stars
Curios can be smelted into Chaos Extract, a resource used in leveling up Curios.
Each level gained grants an attribute of a random quality and type (that the Curio does not already have). A Curio can have at most 4 attributes.
3. Awakening Curios and Harmonic Balance
Extreme Curio raised to 3-Star level can be awakened with Tempered Essence.
If successful, the Curio gains random awakened attributes (these differ between Curios).
Failure will result in the loss of the lowest-quality or lowest-level attribute. You can still raise the Curio's stars to get a new attribute. Each failure boosts your awakening chance across all Curios.
With both an awakened Yin and Yang Curio, you unlock [Harmonic Balance] for all your heroes (whether you have the Curios equipped or not), boosting your Luck by 2,000, and your team's by 1,000.
Boosts can stack. Lasts until Tempered Inferno reopens next season.
III. Limited-time Event: Hunting Grounds

Event Rules:
1. During the event, hunt Scorpions, Lizards, Squirrels, and Rats in Survival Modes to get Hunting Grounds Chests.
2. Each player can get up to 2 Hunting Grounds Chests per match, up to 6 per day.
3. Use a Hunting Grounds Chest for a chance to get Golden Light Outfit Choice Gift, Golden Light Weapon Choice Gift, Golden Light Party Choice Gift, Golden Light Accessory Choice Gift, Gold, Floral Dew, Splendor Treasure Choice Gift, Jade Disk, Splendor Treasure Shard Choice Gift or Floral Dew Shard.
IV. Limited-time Event: Underground Treasures

Event Rules:
1. During the event, earn Flame Gems by opening Stashes in Survival modes or through Casual Modes and Showdown. You can acquire up to 400 Flame Gems per week through these modes.
2. Tap the Hunt button on the event page to randomly receive ores of the same type. Collect five of the same ore to claim corresponding rewards.
4. Claim 50 extra Flame Gems upon first entering the event page each week. The weekly Flame Gems limit and extra Flame Gems reset every Wednesday at 20:00 (UTC).
V. Limited-time Events: Infernal Reckoning

Event Rules:
1. Gain Omen Coins by completing quests during the event. Omen Coin can be redeemed for great event rewards.

Hero Adjustments
I. Tianhai
Adjusted the damage multiplier of Great Vajra's smash attack after seizing two enemies from 12.0 to 12.5.
II. Yueshan
1. Extended the duration of Defense Focus after landing from [Scorching Dash: Weaken] to cover the full recovery frames.
2. Slightly reduced the judgment scene height when Yueshan casts his ultimate.
//Dev Note: Since different maps feature various design styles, and real battle scenes tend to be more complex, it's difficult to establish a universal spatial judgment standard for casting transform ultimates. If the judgment is based solely on model size, it becomes easier to cast the ultimate, but this can lead to larger characters getting stuck in narrow doorways, unable to move freely in or out of the scene. On the other hand, increasing the judgment size ensures the space meets battle requirements after transformation, but it also makes successful transformation more difficult. Therefore, after comparing multiple scenes, we decided to slightly reduce the judgment height to accommodate more transformation scenarios.
III. Temulch
1. For the ultimate [Storm Prison: Reload]: When Temulch uses the reloaded windballs after passing through a wind wall, his skill will not enter CD.
2. When Temulch already has windballs in store, passing through a wind wall will not generate additional windballs.
IV. Takeda Nobutada
Increased all the recovery effects after enabling the ultimate: Increase [Demonic Strike]'s recovery multiplier from 150% to 180% in [Demonic Aid], [Demonic Aid: Teleport]'s recovery multiplier from 30% to 50%, and [Demonic Strike: Havoc]'s recovery multiplier from 750% to 800% in [Demonic Aid: Force].
V. Viper Ning
Adjusted [Yushan Strike]'s CD from 15 sec to 18 sec.
VI. Zai
Reduced the stagger time caused when the ultimate weapon Chain Scythe hits a downed enemy with a sliding horizontal strike.

AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3) uses a combination of super resolution temporal upscaling technology and frame generation to deliver a massive increase in framerates.
Enabling AMD FSR 3 will apply 120Hz VSync and requires a high refresh rate display. To set your refresh rate to 120 Hz on Xbox, go to Settings > General > TV & display options > Refresh rate and select 120 Hz.
