The NF2 server is scheduled to go down tonight for routine maintenance (from 10PM -11:59PM PST). During this maintenance period the following patch updates are also planned:
1) T12 Bug Fix
A hit zone bug affecting the rear bodies of Tier 12 BB will be fixed.

Patch notes: 01/13/2016
Dear NF2 Captains,
The NF2 server is scheduled to go down for maintenance this Wednesday evening (from 10PM - 1AM PST). During this maintenance period, the following patch updates are planned to be performed:
1) Balance adjustment
- BB Torpedo damage will be increased by 5%
- BB gun turning speed will be improved
- BB defensive level will be increased
- CL speed will be decreased
- All ship classes (except SS & BB) will receive a 10% increase in Credit bonus following battles
*A previously mentioned BB reload speed change has been removed to allow for better balance
*Our team will continue to work on balance following these initial changes. Please continue to provide your feedback!

3) Aircraft are now permanent
Will show as 999 day expiration in-game. Prior to this, aircraft were set to expire after 7 days.
These patch updates may be altered if serious bugs are encountered. The patch duration may also change if needed, but we will notify immediately if that is the case. Please look forward to these exciting new changes this week!

[12/31] New Years Greetings & 2016 Plans
Dear NF2 Captains,
Over the past year Navy Field 2 has come into its own thanks to your amazing guidance and patronage. With the New Year arriving, we again want to let you know how thankful we are for all of your loyal support. Navy Field sails onward into 2016 with new goals and plans. Please read on for a briefing on what’s to come.
1) Tier 12 BBs are on track to be introduced onto the server this January or February
- Only BBs will be added initially
- Additional details including screenshots will be posted soon
- We are working to introduce other Tier 12 classes following the Tier 12 BBs
2) Comprehensive Balance Patch
- This balance patch is scheduled to be completed in January
- The patch changes will be tweaked as needed in the weeks and months following their introduction
Patch Highlights:
BBs
- 10% faster reload speed
- 10% faster gun turning speed
- Defensive power will be increased
DDs- 5% increase in torpedo power
CLs
- 10% reduction in speed
Other ships (excluding BB and SS)
- 10% increase in credit gain
Aircraft
- Aircraft duration time will be changed from 7 days to permanent
3) Fleet Battle
- We are currently on course to patch this system in March
4) Harbor Assault
- This extensive project is expected to be patched this April or May

[12/14] Regarding a recent Gold bug
This past evening our team fully investigated recent reports regarding a serious Gold bug exploit stemming from our most recent patch update. The bug should now be fixed.
We understand how difficult it could be to resist exploiting a bug that provides free Gold, and with this in mind, we hoped to only reset Gold (take back the exploited amount) and avoid taking further disciplinary actions.
Unfortunately, there were a number of accounts that abused the bug to the fullest extent possible. Taking back the exploited amount of Gold from these accounts would put them well into negative gold amounts. As such, a number of accounts have been locked.
Still, we hope to offer as much lenience on this matter since we could not address the issue sooner. If your account has been locked out and you wish to regain access, please send an email to

with details regarding your account. We will try to assist each user on a case-by-case basis.Thank you to all who took time to report the issue and avoided abusing the system,

[12/12] Post Patch Issues
The following are issues that have been reported or noticed by our team following the recent Master Ship rewards system update:
1)
Players who have already completed all ship mastering steps save for the unlocking of the next ship in line will be paid as if they had completed all the steps.However, no additional rewards will be placed once these players do complete the final step of unlocking the next respective ship in line.
ex)
If a player researched everything but the next ship in tier 5 before this patch, the player will receive 100 Gold reward following the patch, but will NOT get an additional 100 Gold after researching the next ship.
If this same player researches the tier 6 ship completely, then 150 Gold will be placed.
2)
100 Gold was awarded for those who completed Tier 11, but and additional 900 Gold should have been placed, the total reward for mastering tier 11 is 1000 Gold.3)
Our team has been made aware of a possible bug that may be exploited following this patch. We will work to resolve this bug and any accounts that have intentionally abused this bug may be rolled back or have additional sanctions set on them as a result.Please do not abuse potential exploits as your account will be held accountable.
Our team apologizes for any inconvenience experienced as a result of these bugs. Your understanding is appreciated as we work to fully resolve them.

Patch notes : 12/09/2015
The NF2 server is scheduled to go down for routine maintenance this Wednesday evening. During this maintenance period the following updates are planned:
1) Mastership reward system will be added.
When a player masters a ship within the research tab, the player will receive a Gold reward automatically in accordance to the following:
1~4 tier - no Gold reward
5 tier - 100 Gold reward
6 tier - 150 Gold reward
7 tier - 200 Gold reward
8 tier - 300 Gold reward
9 tier - 500 Gold reward
10 tier - 750 Gold reward
11 tier - 1000 Gold reward
*Classes will not matter
ex) if a player masters a tier 11 BB and tier 5 CL, then the player will receive 1100 Gold.
*Players who already have completed master ship status for existing ships will get the same rewards after log in.
2) In-game Tutorial will be enhanced.
Now, the tutorial contains more detailed information and provides enhanced rewards for new players.
3) Due to these patches, the maintenance time will be 9 PM to 1 AM PST.
