Naxia
Overhaul Update
Naxia is a game in active development.
This means that we are constantly working on this game while improving both the game and ourselves as game developers, based on the feedback that we receive from our community.
Needless to say, the process is challenging, and yet, we are eager to tackle this challenge and are striving to make the best possible game.
One aspect of this challenge that we haven't yet been able to overcome, is to continuously deliver meaningful changes and improvements to the game.
To reach and overcome this challenge, we have shifted our approach to the development and are treating The current version of Naxia as a pre-production version of the game!
While our top priority at this moment is to refactor the project, to be able to deliver monthly updates, we can't give an accurate estimate on when we can present a roadmap and release updates based on it.
For this reason, we decided to release the current updated version of the game as a Free To Try prologue.
We have to emphasize that this prologue is currently identical to the paid version of the game and while by purchasing this game, you will receive the same version, you will receive all of our future content updates and will support us to reach our vision of Naxia.
In the current updated version of the game, we have changed our approach to combat. Previously, Ajira's attacks were stiff, had a small hitbox and her mobility was limited. This was mostly because we had focused on Ajira's skills, abilities, and her "Rage Form" to engage in combat.
During our playtests and from the feed-backs we received from the community, we realized that Our current control scheme, Where you can't use your mouse pointer to move the character like traditional isometric ARPGs And you can only use your mouse pointer to aim your skills and attacks, Ajira's attacks should be reworked to feel more fluid and responsive. Furthermore, we realized that we wanted to sell the idea that "Ajira is an agile and deadly Rouge!".
For These reasons, we decided to focus on one weapon (her deadly daggers) and try to make the best combat experience using them. By doing so, we had to redesign our enemies and skills to better suit the combat experience that we were trying to design.
While we are satisfied with the results that we have achieved, we had to move some of our systems (skill tree, Quests, etc.) to in-development status to be able to solely focus on the combat changes.

Although with being in the early stages of localization we are so likely to face some problems and flaws, we are putting our best effort to make our way to the perfect point and be as globally accessible as possible. We are one hundred percent positive that we can overcome each and every challenge with your constant support.

We're happy to announce that we've started translating Naxia into five additional languages with the help of our community, including:

As we are still in early access, localizing is in its early stages, which means the translations' quality may not always be perfect. Although the process of perfecting it may take time, we are determined to make Naxia accessible to as many players globally as possible!
We will likely face many challenges along the way, which we will successfully overcome with your support.
We ask our community members to try out the game in the existing German, Arabic, and other available languages and send us any feedback.

Development Roadmap Naxia update 2
Since our last update, we have been hard at work on our next major update scheduled for Q1 2021, and we are eager to share some of the details with you. Before diving in, we want to thank you for your patience and continuing support!
In the previous update, we focused on the character sheet, dynamic loot table, weapon switching, and procedural dungeons but we aren't satisfied just yet and will continue tweaking those features in the coming months, as well as shift our focus onto some of our core mechanics:
Ajira’s Movement: Ajira is an assassin rogue and we wanted the players to feel this while playing as her, so we overhauled her movement to make controlling her feel faster and more responsive. This naturally makes traveling and exploring the world of Naxia much more enjoyable.
Weapon Art: we wanted every weapon to feel unique to use. For this update, each weapon will have its own new combo sets. We are working on making these combo sets fluid and smooth to ultimately give the player more control when engaging enemies. These combo sets are hand-crafted to be different on a mechanical level so you can incorporate them into a variety of playstyles. Combine this with our dynamic loot system and every build will feel like a new experience.
Enemies: Smarter, more dangerous enemies. Designed to be a threat alone as well as in groups. We are giving them a better understanding of the space and surroundings in which combat is taking place, creating interesting group encounters which force the player to respond differently to varying combinations of enemies.
Boss Fights: We are working on more advanced behaviors for bosses. Giving them further control and making them more responsive to Ajira’s attacks and tactics, challenging the player to identify and exploit their weaknesses.
Dungeons: More interesting layouts, including traps, hazards, and other surprises.
Tighter Battlefields: Beware! Our new layouts are less spacious, watch your step as getting cornered by enemy groups can be lethal. Thankfully, Ajira’s faster control that is more responsive will allow players to position her on the battlefield to evade incoming attacks as well as take advantage of open opportunities to strike hard and deadly.
Characters: We added new NPCs and shopkeepers with new armors and weapons to buy and acquire via quests.

New Major Update
Hello everyone,
Our big update is here! We truly tried our best to deliver the update on time but the pandemic really hit us like an arrow to the knee. It’s definitely been a challenge but version 1.0.0n19 is finally ready! We’ve brought about many changes as previously announced and we hope that you like them! Don’t forget to tell us what you think about the progress and the direction we’re taking. We’re anxious to hear your thoughts! In the coming days, we will tell you about our next changes planned for Naxia. We will also complete a road map in order to give you a better overlook of Naxia’s future. We sincerely appreciate your patience and feedback on the previous version. It helped us improve a lot! And we’re looking forward to more feedback for our future updates so keep it coming! So without any further ado let us talk about this version:
1. Character Sheet
As many of you know, the character sheet was one of our main focuses in this update. In the most simplified form, inventory items can now be compared based on HP, Attack, and Defense. The stats do not end there, however. If you want to fine-tune your build expand these sections to reveal the following data.

2. Combat
One other major change we have implemented is the way the weapon system works. Whereas before you were only limited to daggers and polearms as your primary and secondary attacks, we have now introduced more weapon options for you to choose from. Switch between weapons slots and weapon types whenever you would like! For now, you have two-weapon slots! It means you can choose to have the same type of weapon in both two slots or you can have two different weapon types! Each weapon type in the game has been given two new combo sets too! That means you have both light and heavy attack combos with each weapon. We are working to add new executions as well! Each weapon will feature three unique execution animations for each enemy type. Hope you are ready for the blood! Execution has a reward now! You can gain Additional XP and Health point Another thing, Spells in Naxia no longer requires rage to cast, but instead have cooldowns. Try your best to save them for when you really need them!
3. Dynamic Loot System
This part was very important for us, for now, all the items in Naxia will be generated dynamically! This means you can find hundreds of unique items in the game! All items will be generated at the moment of dropping the reward. All aspects of an item are generated at the time of drop, from the 3D model to the item stats.
4. Potions
From now on in Naxia potions will be auto collected! You just have to pick the first bottle and after that, every potion has five charges that will be refilled automatically from fallen enemies. You can have two bottles of potion at a time which you can assign/switch them in the inventory.
5. Procedural Generation
We want to show you a taste of our procedural generation system, so we add 1 new dungeon and remade the other completely for this update! Mine in the Underground city of Hadhir and The forests in Hadhir! Try them, as many times you want. But be aware of new challenges every time you enter them!

We add them to give you more variety of enemies in Naxia’s world. You find these enemies in two new dungeons.

8. New Character Model (Ajira)
Following the redesign of Ajira’s clothing to fit the principles of the incoming procedural item generation, it was important to update her 3D model.
New 3D character and more variation of items!
9. Economy
We have two shopkeepers in-game, you can trade items with them!
10. Localization
We add two more languages to Naxia, From now on this game is available in German and Arabic. Soon other languages will be added in the near future.
11. Attack direction
From now on your attacks and spells direction will be synced automatically with your mouse position.
