We got a small patch for you guys, this time it's for the harvesting achievements and the "Main Menu" button on the End Screen. We also made another change to the game for the watering can, now the player can water up to 9 plants before having to refill the watering can.
This hotfix should address this issue.
Fixes:
Fix harvesting achievements and now they are available to be obtained.
Fix "Main Menu" button on End Screen not allowing the player to return to the Main Menu.

Halloween Update ~ Final wave approaching!
At long last we arrive at our biggest update yet! In the spirit of the spooky season in which this game was first made (last year's autumn jam), we wanted to make this update very special. Included in this update are not only Halloween decorations that are all over the map, but everything about how this game looks and feels has changed! We're excited to hear what you think. Here are some of the highlights of this update:
Harvesting
You can now harvest your crops! When they've fully grown, left mouse button will default to harvesting (instead of summoning). Summoning is now a skill that's mapped to 'Q' which can be toggled on and off.
Harvesting crops can earn you gold which serves as your score and a currency you can accumulate for use in the next feature update (Trinket Upgrades). Crops go into your inventory and you just need to run up and click on the shipping bin to sell all at once:
Map Update:
In addition to Halloween decorations and a new look for the farm, we’ve decided to revamp enemy paths to provide more of a strategical challenge. Enemies will be funneled through longer and shorter routes at the same time so the action starts sooner and keeps you thinking about minion placement.

The new lighting will transition from twilight to dusk to night as you survive through the waves. We wanted to give a sense of calm before the storm as impending doom comes. We've heard feedback of the game's lighting before so we're giving you twice as much in response!
New Models and Shaders:
Introducing the new farmer character and a new look for the Pumpkin Soldiers. The new farmer now looks more like a magic user while the Pumpkin Soldier looks more like a creature of crops. Also, how do you like the new shaders? Creatures should now stand out more in this new aesthetic.

Hi everyone,
When starting a new game, the game will be stuck at the farm where the player can't move nor do anything, or it can cause the monsters not to spawn at all.
We hope this hotfix can address that issue.

First Wave Completed! ~ Achievement Unlocked
Achievements are here!
Our first update includes a bevy of achievements to reward your hard work on the farm! This update precedes a slew of content updates we're planning over the coming summer. We've listened and noted all the feedback you've kindly provided including bug reports and design critique. We've worked on fixing the enemy spawn points so they don't get stuck at certain waves. After that, spawn points themselves are undergoing a bit of change to add some strategy and challenge to the gameplay.
The achievements are here to also highlight some big changes coming to the game. We want to add more of the farming aspect into the NecroFarm. It's going to be exciting to introduce you to a new side of this game soon!

Changes:
The UI Interface has gotten an updated look:
The old UI was plain and simple, with it all of the icons look like each other, thus we have switched to a more colorful Action Bar.
Buttons for the actions (i.e. Hoe, water can, seeds and pause menu) are now clickable.
First 5 wave spawn:
Previously, the progression was really slow at the start of the game, thus we have moved the spawn points close to the farm house. We hope this will allow players to understand the direction where the monster is coming from and hopefully reduce the slow down for players at the start of the game.
Growing time for the plants have changed:
The plants growing time did not feel right with what the plants can do in the game, thus we have updated the growing time for each plant to compensate for the power of each plant.
New plant growing animations:
New animations for different plant growths and summoning! Exciting!
Souls and Seeds:
Souls and seeds drop chance has increased, this is to help combat the late game drought of souls and seeds dropped by the monsters.
Fixes:
Monster Self Destruct/Fail Safe has been implemented:
Monsters would get stuck sometime when they spawn, thus hindering players from progressing to the next wave.
Exit Button on Main Menu works now (Sorry about that!).
First Wave Incoming! ~ A Huge Thank You!
Hello everyone!
This is the first time I've made any announcement on a game, let alone my first game on Steam! First off, I want to thank everyone who has played the game. My friend and I started this game in September as part of an autumn game jam and thought the idea worked well enough to expand upon. Now seven months later and we have our first game ever on Steam! It's really exciting and we appreciate you for being here with us.
New Features Coming! I want to announce that we have plans for expanding the game a bit. We're working on a couple of major systems to add to this game's loop. As it stands right now, the game is a simple tower defense style minion management game. You can play it for as long as you can survive a run. That's what we aimed for from the start. To keep players pushing forward to see if they can do better in the next round, we plan to add features that will add a little sense of progression. For our next update, we are adding achievements. We hope this will give players some goals to strive for and keep getting better at the game.
We appreciate any feedback that you have. To make it easy to communicate suggestions, feedback and general ideas, we've created an official Discord server.
