Post Game Stats


  • Percentage of Enemies killed is now displayed on the Score Screen.

Accuracy Ratings


  • Due to player request, accuracy rating stats have been added to the post-game score screens.

GUI/Progress Hotfix


  • Fixed an issue where powerup effects did not play correctly on some machines.
  • Fixed an issue where progress could be halted after defeating bosses on some machines.

Health Bar Hotfix


  • Fixed a bug introduced in the last update which could cause the visuals on the Health & Shield Bars to stop being updated correctly.

Achievement Viewer & Accessibility/Colorblind Update

Achievement Viewer



  • A new menu added to the help screen in the Main Menu & Pause Menu.
  • View all of the locked/unlocked achievements along.
  • Names, descriptions and images of all achievements provided.
  • Percentage of players who achieved each is also provided.



Colorblind Options



  • None -Enabled by Default
  • Protanopia - Simulates missing red cones.
  • Protanomaly - Simulates reduced sensitivity red cones.
  • Deuteranopia - Simulates missing green cones.
  • Deuteranomaly - Simulates reduced sensitivity green cones.
  • Tritanopia - Simulates missing blue cones.
  • Tritanomaly - Simulates reduced sensitivity blue cones.
  • Achromatopsia - Simulates completely missing cones.
  • Achromatomaly - Simulates reduced sensitivity of all cones



Please note that this only impacts the gameplay camera and not the U.I.

  • Fixed a bug which caused music not to play on the cutscenes before and after the Magical Meadows stage.

Rebranding Update

The game has been renamed from Nectar to Nectar Wars. Artwork in the game has been modified to reflect this change.

Player Feedback Patch #3

Patch Notes



  • Invincibility time increased to 3 seconds from 1.75 upon respawn.
  • All birds & butterflies have been rebalanced to fire faster but each bullet deals less damage, overall damage output is the same.
  • Dying now results in losing 1 upgrade level rather than reverting back to 1.
  • Diagonal movement speed is now normalized.
  • Enemies now despawn sooner upon exiting the screen.
  • Fire Demons & Bats have had their projectile hitboxes rescaled.
  • Crystal's level 2 firing angle reduced.

Overworld Modifications



  • The cosmetic's name is now displayed on the Customization Screen.
  • The boundaries of entering a level has been moved up and widened.
  • Fixed a bug on the customization screen where audio would not play.
  • Fixed a bug when using the gamepad and closing the customization screen which caused it to re-open.
  • Fixed a bug related to Flight Cadet/Easy Difficulty.
