New Tutorial, Ability Codex Update & Save Slots - Game Update - August 25, 2022
- There is now a tutorial that happens when the game is started for the first time - All abilities are now dropped in the form of Ability Codices. These are dropped by bosses. - There are now 3 save slots that can be used to store different kinds of characters. - Added SPARKS to the dungeon.
Item Sets & Sound Effects - Game Update - June 22, 2022
- Added 4 new abilities - Added 11 new sigils - Added new sound effects to numerous things - Removed Sigils of Corruption, Reaper, Celestials, and Elements. These effects have been put on items instead as set effects. - The number of required items for the set effects on equipment has been increased (2/4/6 per tier, up from 1/2/3) - Decreased the loading screen time by a lot - Added new rooms - Changed the color and the lighting of the dungeon (once again) - Teleporting has been removed as it serves no purpose - Player level has been removed - Natural Health and Corruption regeneration are removed (might come back as passives later) - Nature typed attacks now have a chance of healing the player (instead of creating a small aoe around the player) - Abilities no longer have specific Element types, instead they use your primary element - Removed auto attacking - Corruption now starts at 0, every primary attack gives +10 Corruption (Experimental) - Bonfires no longer give full Corruption - Altars of Corruption are (temporarily?) removed from boss entrances - Music can now be muted - Music volume can now be adjusted - Leeching Strike has been removed - Drain Life has been removed - Ice Shard has been removed - Added two new weapon "types", main hand orbs and off hand orbs - Orbs can be equipped to get access to Elemental type attacks - A sword can be equipped with an orb for a hybrid style combat - Equipping two orbs at once makes attacks longer ranged - Every item has been updated in terms of stats, Legendary and Corrupted item stats now are randomized instead of being a set value - Shields and 2 handed swords have been removed for now - Added a text for gold pickups - Bosses no longer drop ores or crystals - Sigils can now be disassembled for crystals - Corrupted Spirit has been renamed to Blood Fury and is now a dual melee buff. The effect is the same (take 50% damage, gain 50% corruption) - Number of abilities on the action bar has been reduced to 6 (excluding primary attack, dash, and potion)
More Monsters & Environmental Changes - Game Update - May 01, 2022
We got some new monsters and a better look for the dungeons themselves as well as the town. I will keep updating the way the town looks but for now I am happy with what I've added.
Added 4 new monsters that can buff nearby monsters (these buffs are attack + movement speed, attack damage, increased armor, healing)
Added 4 new "elite" monsters
Elite monsters(Wardens) guard portals and doors found in the dungeon. Each has different effects based on the number of monsters surrounding them
Added 3 new ranged monsters
Added elemental versions of some monsters; Fire enemies have a chance of burning Ice enemies have a chance of slowing Nature enemies have a chance of lowering player's Corruption These chances scale with the player's elemental %, ie. if fire % is high, there's a high chance player won't be burned
Added a new ability, Cleanse. Cleanse removes all the debuffs affecting the player and grants immunity to all debuffs for 5 seconds
Passive skills now unlock with highest unlocked floor rather than player level
Monster spawns now scale with floor, reaching maximum amount at floor 75
Town has been updated a little
Normal attacks can't proc Elemental effects anymore
Removed the 25% Elemental base chance from Elemental Set [1], replaced it with "Normal attacks can now proc Elemental effects"

Sigils and Item Sets! - Game Update - April 08, 2022
There are now item sets in the game with the addition of sigils! Sigils can be put into the Statue of Death and provide small bonuses on their own.
Statue of Death can hold up to 4 sigils with a slot being unlocked at every 15th floor.
Sigils: Reaper's Sigil Set [1] Gain a burst of movement speed for 2.5 seconds after using Shadowstep [2] Shadowstep's range is extended by 50% [3] Shadowstep's cooldown gets reset after an enemy kill
Elemental Sigil Set [1] All Elements get a 25% increase [2] Gain an Elemental Aura based on your strongest element [3] Elemental attacks and abilities can critically strike. The critical strike chance scales with an element's strength
Corrupt Sigil Set [1] Enemy kills give 1% Corruption [2] All abilities cost Health instead of Corruption. All Corruption gets converted to Health [3] All attacks do double damage. Take double damage from all sources.
Celestial Sigil Set [1] Every third auto attack always ignores the enemy armor [2] Gain 3% Attack Speed and 3% Critical Chance per auto attack for 10 seconds, stacking up to 10 times [3] Critical strikes deal 300% Damage if Critical Chance is above 50%
Other Changes:
- Increased bank space to 100 - Fixed a bug where if you quit the game with the Bloodlust potion equipped it would show up as Stoneskin on next session - Removed the RMB as a separate ability, basic slash (melee) is now a normal ability once again - Holding the mouse button won't move the player anymore during animations that are supposed to halt player movement - Right Mouse Button is now a possible keybind - Corruption per item upgrade is now +10% (down from +100%) - Using any ability now puts the basic attack cooldown to 0.5 seconds - Abilities can now be cast by clicking on the ability bar with the mouse (targeting doesn't work for now) - Some monsters have armor ratings now, which scales with the floor
Patch Notes - Game Update - March 26, 2022

Graphical Update & More - Game Update - March 22, 2022
Patch Notes:
Base movement speed has been increased slightly
Player model size has been increased slightly
Almost every dungeon room has received a graphical update
Wind has been removed as an element and is replaced with Earth
Whirlwind is renamed to Firestorm and is now a Fire spell
Leeching Strike and Drain Life are both classified as Earth spells
Added multiple light sources and pillars throughout the dungeon
Teleport VFX is now fixed
Critical hits should be fixed
Boss spawns are now fixed and will no longer cause the dungeon to not be proceedable
Fixed the issue where the boss gate wasn't clickable
Added an altar near the boss gate. Currently gives full corruption but in the future the % will scale with the amount of monsters that you kill in the dungeon
Added an option to reset progress in the escape menu (demo only)
All AoE ability damage has been lowered

Elemental Effects & More - Game Update - Feb 04, 2022
Sorry this took so long, but this is a big one.
First of all, Elemental Stats:
There are 5 new Stats. These are Fire, Ice, Wind, Radiant, Shadow.
Fire: Burns the target for 5 seconds. Ice: Slows and Chills the target. Chilled targets shatter on death, dealing aoe damage. Wind: Creates a small whirlwind around the player. Shadow: Enemies take more damage Radiant: Enemies deal less damage
All Normal skills, including auto attacks, can proc these effects, but their damage scales with their own elements.
Patch Notes
Added some 2h swords, they provide more damage and cdr but less attack speed (animations are not there yet)
Added blood splatters on the floor when an enemy dies
Added an outer glow to interactable objects on mouse over
Added a small visual effect to monsters when they get hit
Increased monster spawns within the dungeon
Added an "out of combat" idle animation that triggers when there are no monsters nearby
Weapons cannot be changed in combat now
There's now a short global cooldown of 0.5 seconds when an ability is used
Slash and stab animations now prevent the player from moving until the animations are over
Fixed some enemies not acting properly with their hitboxes
Added multiple new weapons and armor
Crystal of corruption and Essence of corruption have been renamed to Celestian Crystal and Celestian Ore respectively
Legendary and Corrupted equipment have static stats now (doesn't flactuate between two random values)
Critical Damage has been removed all items. Exceeding 100% Critical Chance will now increase the damage of Critical Strikes
Lifesteal has been removed from all items
Attack Speed is now static across different weapons and can't be upgraded as a stat via the anvil.
- Equipping swords now gives +10% Attack Speed (20% if both hands)
- Equipping axes now gives +5% Attack Speed (10% if both hands)
- Equipping two handed items gives no additional Attack Speed
- There are still some weapons that have their own Attack Speed value
Populated dungeon rooms with breakable barrels, chests, buckets, and some skeletons on the floor
Added fog to various places throughout the game
The floor tiles of the dungeon will now change colors every floor
Added a buff bar above the health bar that shows all the active buffs (Probably doesn't show everything right now)
Changed how resource nodes look
Whirlwind is available at Level 1 once again
Skills now have "Elemental Types"
Elemental stats now boost the damage/effect of abilities of the same elemental type
Game Update - New Abilities & Adjustments - Dec 29, 2021
Total kills, deaths, dashes, ability usage, health gained/lost, corruption gained/lost, coins gained/lost, souls gained/lost are now being tracked
Added a Noticeboard in town, it currently only shows the mentioned stats above
Demonic Gaze's damage has been increased (by a lot)
Removed ability: Swift Strike
Swift Strike now triggers with Right Mouse Button. It costs no Corruption, might make it generate Corruption in the future.
Still scales linearly with attack speed and damage
Since Swift Strike occupies the RMB, interacting with objects using RMB is no longer possible. Only possible with LMB
New ability: Drain Life - AOE -- Drain Health from enemies surrounding you -- Cost: 100 -- Level: 20 -- Base Damage: 1x -- Drained Health: 20% of all damage
New ability: Imbued Blades - Active -- Increase damage by 25% -- Increase corruption cost of all abilities by 25% -- Cost: 0 -- Cooldown: 0 -- Level: 15

Graphical Updates - Game Update - December 28, 2021
I've updated the look of almost every room and the town graphically. There is still a lot of room for improvement but it's good to get this out of the way now.
