Day 1 Thank You!
Hey everyone! Firstly, I wanted to thank everyone that has bought the game so far. This is my first published game and it’s a surreal feeling. I’ve been working on this game for quite a while and having it released to the public is a scary, yet awesome thing. Please keep the feedback coming! It will only help me keep improving the game.
Secondly, we are aware of the issues players have been having, crashes in Neon Stop, controller aiming being icky, rebinding being broken, enemies glitching and more. We are working hard and will be getting a patch out as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and don't forgot that our most official way of bug reporting is through Discord. I am still checking the discussion board posts here on Steam as well.
Finally at the end of the week I would love to have a brainstorming session with you all. It'll be an open discussion about what you'd like to see in the future. If you're interested, join us on discord! We’d love to hear your thoughts.

Demo Survey Response
To everyone that sent in a feedback survey, we see you and we hear you! The feedback we have received has been immensely helpful insight and I wanted to talk about it a bit here!
Bugs, crashes, and more bugs.
One of the biggest concerns from the demo was the bugs and crashes. We see them and we are actively working on fixing them. A lot of the issues you’ve seen (and not seen..) have been fixed already! As a solo programmer, it’s a bit hard to get them all quickly, but I have a great QA team helping me out. We’ll get there!
Actual controller support
Yes… The demo was plagued with controller support issues. From controllers not working at all to not being able to use KB+Mouse because a controller is plugged in, all of that has been fixed! You can now enjoy Neon Blight with any gamepad! I challenge you to find a gamepad that doesn’t work…(but please don’t really 🥺) Some improvements will be made in the future as well, such as aim assist!
What’s coming post launch?
Weapon rebalancing
We’ve noted that enemies feel spongy and take too long to kill. We will be going over some weapon rebalancing. No more starter weapon supremacy!
Enemy rework
Enemy AI has always been kind of a meh in my eyes, so this week I’m experimenting with new pathfinding and improving the AI’s general performance. With the new AI, I hope to create more engaging (and less broken) enemies to fight!
What about the future?
Well that’s a big question! We want to support Neon Blight for as long as possible. We are going to add more content, more features and more fixes for the indefinite future.

Demo 1.0.0.5 Hotfix
Another hotfix for you all, this one fixes more bugs and crashes:
Changes -fixed crash with certain weapons (tesla-b for example). -temporarily removed items causing various crashes (will be back for launch!) -fixed crash with metal detector after finding an item.

Hello everyone! Got a small hotfix for you, hopefully fixing the issues some of you have been having.
Changes & fixes: -Fixed crash on startup for some users (related to having savefiles from previous builds). -Added updated weapon system. -Fixed crash related to weapon selection in inventory screen.
