Neverwinter Xbox One Closed Beta Feb 5th - Feb 8th
For over a year, Neverwinter has provided adventurers from around the world a window into the Forgotten Realms universe. Until now, this experience has been limited to the PC, but on February 5th, adventurers on Xbox One will have a chance to set foot on the Sword Coast for the first time ever.

All great journeys have their first steps and Xbox Live Gold members will be able to take theirs in Neverwinter’s closed beta from February 5th – February 8th. Adventurers will be able to experience the captivating Tyranny of Dragons storyline as they battle against the Cult of the Dragon to save the city of Neverwinter. Those who participate in the beta will get to experience the same fast-paced combat as Neverwinter’s PC incarnation, complete with all of the game’s diverse classes.

Winter Festival of Simril Has Begun!
Nestled within the rolling slopes of Starmetal Hill, the quaint mountain village of Twilight Tor is blessed with a crystal-clear view of the heavens each night. These clear nights draw in all manner of astrologers, diviners, and stargazers. The village has gained a reputation as one of the best places to appreciate the stars, which makes it the perfect place for a Simril celebration! In keeping with the tradition that Simril be a time of joy and camaraderie, the mayor of Twilight Tor has invited the citizens of Neverwinter to join him for a 3 week celebration!

Gift-giving and surprises are two ways to spread the Simril spirit. Every day during the festival, visit the Starlight Giftmaster in Twilight Tor to get a Starlight Voucher. This brightly colored piece of paper entitles you to 1 free Starlight Parcel from the Zen Market. A wide variety of prizes can be found in the Starlight Parcel and the chance for even rarer items to appear increases with each one you open!

Rise of Tiamat is Now Live!
In the culmination of the Season of Dragons, Rise of Tiamat follows the events of the fourth Neverwinter module – Tyranny of Dragons – and the Siege of Neverwinter event. Starting today, adventurers will venture to the Well of Dragons, a new adventure zone that has been ransacked by the Cult of the Dragon. With the resurrection of Tiamat from the Nine Hells looming over the land of Faerûn, adventurers must band together to battle one of Dungeons & Dragons most fearsome villains.

With Rise of Tiamat will also come the addition of new quests that will take place in the desolate wasteland of the Well of Dragons and will culminate in an epic battle against Tiamat herself! Those brave enough to venture into the Well of Dragons will be able to face Tiamat starting December 5th. Adventurers will also be able to obtain new Artifact Gear and craft magical items with the new Jewelcrafting profession. These items will serve them well in their battles against the Cult of the Dragon.

Rise of Tiamat will also bring the life-stealing Soulbinder Paragon Path for the Scourge Warlock, which will offer greater character customization and a whole new way to play the Scourge Warlock class. The Devoted Cleric and Trickster Rogue classes have also received some excellent balancing changes, allowing for new and innovative ways to play those classes.

The newest module will follow the events of Module 4: Tyranny of Dragons and the Siege of Neverwinter, culminating in a treacherous battle with one of Neverwinter’s most powerful dragons.

Siege of Neverwinter
The Season of Dragons continues with the brand new Siege of Neverwinter event. The Cult of Dragons has managed to punch a hole through the wall of Neverwinter and is amassing outside the once secure sanctuary of Protector’s Enclave. Sergeant Knox has sent out a call to all Adventurers to return to the city of Neverwinter and defend it from the Cult of Dragons.
