For the 2024 Women's Day sale event, I am trying to set up a video showing me playing the game and talking about a few of the options available! This is my first time trying to stream a video on Steam, so there may be a few bumps and glitches.

Night Cascades is part of the Steam Visual Novel Fest!

1.02 Patch
A small patch was issued today - you can tell whether you have the new version by looking for "1.02s" in the top right corner of the title screen.

This update adds more explanation the first time that you encounter an Intuition Mode puzzle:



Hopefully this will make it more understandable for future players if they can see how to guess which direction to look for the Eye based on the curving lines. Wherever you click, you SHOULD get some clues that help you tell whether you're close or not and which way you should look next.

If this still makes no sense, comment and we'll see if we can elaborate further!

No new game content has been added, this is really more for the benefit of future players.

Night Cascades is on Yuri Discount

1.01 Patch
A small patch was issued today - you can tell whether you have the new version by looking for "1.01s" in the top right corner of the title screen.

This update:


  • Fixes a typo
  • Adds more backer names to the credits
  • Hopefully fixes the crash problem on MacOS


While we don't officially support MacOS, we do try to make it available. There was a problem causing a crash whenever achievement-related code tried to fire on MacOS, causing the game to crash at points such as the end of the commercial intro. This would happen even if the achievement had been previously unlocked.

It should work now. But if it doesn't, or if you run into any other issues, please let us know!

Launch!
It's been a long time coming but finally we are live on Steam. We hope you enjoy the story we've laid out for you and look forward to the possibility of more mysteries to come!
