Small update

Hello everyone this is Sanswolf from the Wolf And Others team.

in this update we fixed some issues and bugs in the game and added new features, in the upcoming couple of days we will stay focused on feedback to completely fix the levels that have been released in the early access 2,0 and hopefully finish them by the end of the month. as of this update the notes will be listed below.

-Main menu [ Added options to the main menu ]

-Intro [ the story intro is now skippable ]

-Flow Corp level [ Tutorial is now optional and remade to be easy to understand and can be skipped ]

-St: George Dungeon [ Removed the priest AI for further development ]

-Apartments 1900s [ Chess puzzle no longer soft locks the player in loop ]

-Mouse problem [ no longer clicks outside the screen ]

- Adjusted lightning and atmosphere [ Darker maps ] , we felt the light tool that was given did not add much since the lighting was a bit too much so we dimmed some maps, it is not the final change, over time might be tweaked.


For now these are the fixes and updates. We will keep a close eye on the feedbacks to tweak and fix any mistakes in the game thank you all for the support

Nightmares To Be 2.0 Early Access

Hello everyone this is Sans Wolf from the Wolf and Others team and I am excited to announce the 2nd major update of the early access of the reworked Nightmares to be, as said in the previous announcement we have been working on the game for a year trying new maps designs and in game engine and of course listening to your feedback to make the game better, we hope that you enjoy the new update and content. with your support to this small team it helped us working on the game we never thought would reach this far so thank you for all the Wolf and others supporters and of course this is not the finalized version of the game we still have more to add and expand on with your help and feedback we will reach the nightmares to be full release with its highest potential below will be detailed info on this patch and what changed.


-New Engine

-New Story

-New protagonist Aiden Marshall.

-St-George Dungeon rework and new cathedral scene.

-Snow level Reworked with new enemy and sub story.

-Sci-Fi Room became FlowCorp offices.

-Apartments 1990s Rework with new design and new enemy and Sub story.

-New map Neighborhood abandoned house.

-Completely new puzzle system and advanced Ai from previous versions.

-Removed multiplayer for the meantime (Work in progress).

-New Main menu scene.

-Aiden Marshall Personal Flat (new mini map).

-Theme Park Overview map(Not fully playable/Teaser.

Nightmares To Be pricing update

From the Wolf And Others studio, "Nightmares to be" has been our main focus and main project for the past 2 years. We have been mostly silent about the game since the early access release in august 7th 2021, we have received a lot of feedback some good, some bad. All reviews are welcome as it helps us make a better game.

We are very proud on the work we've done so far, we never thought our game would be as big as it is, since it was only our university senior project, but since the game did as well as it did, we decided to keep working on it and it is now much better in terms of Story, Maps, Characters, Graphics, Sounds, etc.

Furthermore, we will be transitioning the game from (free to play) to paid in the upcoming weeks approximately by 15th July, to prepare for a huge new and reimagined update, And we hope that you understand why this transition is happening.

We would like to thank everyone who supported us for all this time, and provided us with feedback, we need all the feedback we can get positive and negative.

The Wolf And Others team can't wait to show you the next step in our journey and share all the work that has been in development over the past year.

Patch 0.3

Hello everyone, we are very happy to announce patch 0.3 of Nightmares to be early access, we would like to announce the new map apartments and the new multiplayer mod implemented in the game as a test, we have been working with you to see the faults in the game and based on it we move forward so thank you all for the feedback that is helping this team and this game move forward, as we promised we will not abandon Nightmares to be, we will be updating it as much and as fast as we could to give the player the content they deserve and again thank you all for being patient and we hope this patch will be enjoyable. in the previous patch we had a lot of player complaining about the lightning and colors of the game so we tried to fix that with the new lightning system introduced, the maps in general are darker but the flashlight will be an essential equipment that will help the player progress in the end we failed to mention it is a maze so we want you to get lost in the map but not too much. you will find more information below.

Bug fixes
- The holy light area no longer stops the player from progressing if they leave the collider but entering it again will start the sequence
- the doors in the dungeon map no longer close the wrong way
- Flashlight is actually useful
- the floor in sci-fi dorm 2 is now fixed you can no longer stand in the air or phase through
- the first door in the sci-fi dorm now requires a key even when it is white since it is the safe room and once you leave you cant enter it again(intended)

Tweaks
- flashlight is now useful and lights of the map are way darker
- more batteries and flashlights around the map
- dungeon now has a flashlight tool
- the spawn of sci-fi dorm the player no longer gets stuck and has to jump over the table to move on

HotFix/patch notes

Hello everyone, yes we hear you as of yesterday Nightmares to be has been out on early access and we heard the feedback that could help the game evolve in this patch we will deal with some of the bugs and glitches that stopped the player from progressing, as well as the lightning problem for some of the players, and we realized that we couldn't direct the player well through the tutorial, we would like to thank you all for your patience and feedback.


Bug Fixes

- A problem where the player couldn't pick up the dropped items.
- The First door jammed after leaving the safe room claimed ( white door = unlocked ) no longer needs key
- the player choosing back to main menu from the pause menu, takes the player back to the wrong template

Noticed bugs

- after the monster kills the player there is a black screen(workaround) just load last saved point.


Tweaks

- The lights in all the maps has been increased and the roads are more visible
- Added more save points to Dungeon map(lanterns)
- Changed the 1st monster spawn
- The gun misplaced in the first level was removed as it has no real use


Remember this game is a side project we are working on other types of games but we will always update Nightmares to be.
