Megadomers!
Here it is! Another content update!
Fight your way through dark and narrow alleys of “Downtown Mayhem” arena with lots of stuff to destroy - we had a lot of fun making this one and hope you’ll like it too. The look of city background has been improved for all arenas as well. You may notice change in enemy behavior, such as improved obstacle evasion, and higher levels of agility. Now, sometimes the enemies will try to flee, so it’s your duty to prevent this from happening. The game’s performance has been significantly improved, so we hope more of you can have a fluid and seamless gameplay experience now. And finally, we are introducing Dylan Jackson – now you can see the face behind the voice of the Megadome’s anchorman!

Gameplay / Balance

  • New arena – “Downtown mayhem”
  • Enemy AI upgrade

Visuals

  • Uprated looks of the city background
  • Introduction of Dylan Jackson as a character
  • Updated particles

Other

  • Game performance has been improved

IN THE WORKS #3 - Better performance, new arena, new tracks, A.I. and more

Megadomers!
As usual, we are sharing a glimpse on the progress of the game.

Since there were quite a few of you who were complaining about game’s performance, we have focused more on the technical aspect of the game, to ensure that it runs smoothly on as many machines as possible. We have put quite some work into it, and we can already see significant gains in terms of performance in our tests.

Focusing on performance does not mean we were idle in new content department. We are working on most complex arena yet, if you are 80’s action flick savvy you’ll recognize where we were taking our inspiration from ;) Furthermore, we are working on improving the enemy A.I. to provide for better gameplay experience.

Also, there’s one significant game element that’s getting a visual overhaul, but we don’t want to spoil too much.

And finally, our beloved Nightrun’87 is working on brand new tracks for Nightwolf: Survive the Megadome!

We expect to ship new content update that includes the most of mentioned work around the end of May/beginning of June.
Stay tuned!

Megadomers!
Sorry to keep you waiting but here it is – Content update 0.1.1!
Explore Vostok 3 – brand new arena featuring derelict arctic military installation – or is it truly abandoned? To help you out with progress in game, we are introducing challenges – specific tasks with experience and credit rewards. We have juiced the visuals as well – weapon and powerups now spawn in crates (“Crates away!”) Since MEGADOME is all about the show, enemies will now appear in drop pods – talk about explosive entry to the game. Moreover, we have enabled complete controls mapping, allowing you to keybind the game the way you like it. And finally Nightwolf: Survive the Megadome now features full controller support!

IN THE WORKS #1 – First patch coming!

MEGADOMERS!

It’s been one week since the release of Nightwolf: Survive the Megadome in Early Access. We would like to shed some light on what’s going on with the game, and what are the future plans. But before we do that, we would like to thank everyone who bought the game – thanks for your support, and understanding, and thanks for the feedback – we guarantee each complaint, suggestion is looked upon and taken into consideration.

Currently, we are working on a patch, that will try to fix all the burning issues in the game (many of those have been reported by players here on community forums). The patch should be available for download in about 2 weeks.

Apart from patches and fixes, we are working on content updates. Each content update should add significant change to the game. We'll be posting about these beforehand to let you know, so stay tuned for new announcements. We intend to ship new content at relatively regular intervals, every 4-6 weeks.

Till next time!
