Nikhil Murthy's Syphilisation

Update - 2022-03-20

More small fixes to make the game cleaner. I put in a title screen, removed roads and set the tile currency to off by default.

The next week is focused on making the tutorial do more, so please tell me if there's anything in specific that you would like to improve about it. Which features do you find unclear and would like a better explanation for?

Update - 2022-03-13

This week once again was all about small fixes. I'm going to continue making minor changes until the end of the month in order to get the game more stable and playable.

I also got some feedback about the first 15 minutes of the game, so expect major changes in how that plays in the next build. If you have any feedback about what it's like to start playing the game, please send that to me now as I am going to focus on making that experience smoother over the next couple of weeks.

Update - 2022-02-17

This is another patch full of small fixes and minor improvements. There are progress circles everywhere now and the menus should make more sense. The economy should play a little better now and the map should be a little easier to read. Additionally, I've limited the number of quests that you can have active at any time right now. I felt that earlier you would just get drowned in them. Inspirations have also had a minor rework and should be much clearer now. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Update - Fix-up

This update is mostly minor fixes, but there are a lot of them in here. The key ones is that there is now a manual available in the Syphilopedia, the insecurity stub has been expanded and boundaries are thicker. Units, civilians and quests are now limited at a player level instead of a city level and there are buildings that will boost all of those numbers. Besides that it's all pretty small fixes. The next sprint is going to be more of the same.

Update - Campaigns

I fixed a number of bugs with campaigns and updated their screens and descriptions to be clearer and added a few more campaign options to the tech tree.

Additionally, there are a number of small fixes. Most notably, the quest display in the region selection screen has now been fixed.

Update - Fixes and Explanations

There's nothing fancy in this update, I just added in a few more explanations and updated a few of the older ones. I also made some major fixes to buildings, preserves and wonders, so they should now work as you would expect them to. I also fixed the culture menu so you can now get an idea of what each region has. Finally, I put in a significant number of small fixes and tweaks. The game should just be smoother now. As always, please tell me if you have any feedback or anything that you would like updated.

Update - Stances and Flow

The biggest change of this update is that unlocking research points now has a new menu and flow. This should make it easier for you to track your progress on the report that eventually determines your final score.

Furthermore, I put in key fixes to campaigns and to citizen production. Now, both of those should feel much more prominent than they did before.

Finally, there are lots of small bugfixes and playability tweaks. I also added a few new tutorial points. As always, please tell me if you run into any issues or if there's something you feel could be better done.
