Join the designers, artists, voice actors and composer of "Nine Noir Lives" for a relaxed, mostly-unplanned romp through our demo as we chat about the game, discuss what's coming in the future, and answer your questions!

Gamescom! Demo! AMA!

After the opening ceremony tomorrow, you'll be able to visit a digital expo and over two hundred booths showcasing all the games participating - including ours! And as part of that, from tomorrow until Sunday, you'll be able to download and play our sparkly new demo! *shiny*
If you played our old demo, you'll want to check this one out to see what's changed. Namely: it's not 2 years old anymore. This new demo gives a much better idea of what you can expect from the full game, with our new intro, better flow, and extra puzzles and areas to round out the introduction!

Casting call: Henchtigers
We have some characters we need to cast - and we're opening it up to under-represented voices! We’re especially interested in lesser-known accents and dialects, people with speech impediments or vocal handicaps, or any vocal flavour that has made you think your voice isn't beautiful.
We want you for our game, and we'll pay you! We’re paying 150 CAD for about 360 words of recording. Because everyone deserves to be heard.
Character Description
The henchtigers are the muscle for one of the nasty criminal elements that operate in the cat city of Meow Meow Furrington. Due to a shortage of actual tigers, most of them aren't tigers at all, but just orange tabby cats. They keep using the name, though, because it's more intimidating. However, they are still ordinary cats at the end of the day, and the lines in this audition show that through a very mundane, low-stakes interaction.

Cats, comedy, and crime...welcome to Nine Noir Lives!
Play as Cuddles Nutterbutter, second-best PI in town and owner of two definitely normal-sized paws. Armed with your wits, your assistant Tabby Mashmallow, and a tongue that's ready for anything, you'll talk, puzzle and lick your way across the cat city of Meow Meow Furrington to solve a murder that threatens to upset the delicate balance between the Montameeuw and Catulet crime families.
Our demo is a thirty-minute slice from near the start of the game, selected to give you a taste of what you can expect when the full version releases next year - without spoiling anything 😺 It includes full English voice acting, and text translations into both German and Afrikaans.
NNL has been a four-year labour of love for Silvernode, with just the two of us working on it in our spare time, with assistance from contractors all over the world. We just love adventure games, and we're thrilled to finally be able to show our take on the genre to everyone. So please: brush your whiskers, shake your tails, lick your paws clean and dive into Nine Noir Lives!
