Some of you may have encountered some lag spikes when playing the game over some hours. I hopefully corrected it now. I accidentally did not initialize a thread (which was supposed to run in background) properly, resulting in a lag spike all 0.5 seconds.

December V 0.344 1st Advent :D | Christmas
Hello there my fellow players. Since December started there have been some updates. Christmas is around the corner and the first advent week has started! I am planning on potentially making a special Christmas Mini Game for December 24th/25th. I hope I will make it :) Currently most of the work done is not seen directly, since it has to do with ACT III.

Quest Reset Bug | other fixes coming
Hey there dear players.
There have been lots of reports from you, that your quests where resetting. I pinned it down to some problem in the saving. I think it may have to do with the item tracker (where items are being saved in their time lines). In any case I think I might have fixed it now and just to be sure, I moved the quest saving process before any of the items.
Along with that will come a few smaller fixes, such as save station spawns. I got some reports, where in you would die instantly after spawn. The issue was with the fall damage. So I added a wait call, so that the map loads completely before applying any fall damage.
The update should be out either by today or tomorrow. It will be one of the updates in the lead up to a small christmas special :)
Thank you all for the bug reports and I hope these will be fixed. If they will reappear again after the update report them as soon as possible.

First of all I wanted to thank everyone for reporting any bugs they came upon. I spent the last week with my small group of helpers to fix as much as possible. I also added stoves recently, so have fun camping out with your car and frying some freshly hunted steak! :D -------------
November 25th v0.343 -Started private development on Act III`s first quest (not available to the public) -Fixed item duplication glitch -Added a grill to the 6/12 store -Added meat -All meat has to be fried first -Fixes made for the Accordion Man Quest -Fixed the issue where you loose items and the car bugs out once your other self jumps in. -Redwood collision boxes are now fixed -Fixed that trackers trigger box in 1940 -The machanic now has a house in the 1940s -Recalculated the Navmesh -Hopefully fixed the comic for Act II - Added cooking feature - Raw meat now drops from Monsters/Critters. - Added Grill - Can be purchased for the 6/12 store p1 -Time Agents do not spawn anymore, after Act II finishes because they are now trapped in 300 bc... -The leviboard cannot be used anymore to cheat verticality. (You cannot hold and ride it at the same time anymore)

v0.342 p3 | Quick Patch | Little apology about that Framedrop.
Hello there fellow players.
I got some reports, that there was an issue with frame drops. I just wanted to apologize that this happened. I fixed it and patch 3 is out now. The issue was with the Item Tracker (tracks items through time) it was trying to spawn add to a list and delet items indefinitely. So it basically clogged up the memory. Simply a logical error of mine in the code.

Update v0.3416 | 1 year anniversary | Work on ACT III has started |
Hey guys. I wanted to let you know that the game is now one year old since October 26th :D Lemme rehash how all came together.
One night I had the idea of making a time travel game. The idea was that you would be actually able to travel to any date in time :D
So I spent the night with a donut and some coffee to work out the basic structure of driving a car / time system / a tracker, which would record the cars actions and so on.
From there I started on a basic story. I was thinking of you selling things to an antiquities shop. The original inventor (who was your co worker) was kidnapped in this version of the story and was forced to work on inventions for the time agents.
This is the original plan for the map. I am sure some of it may actually look better than it does right now. Some might have looked worse. What I am saying is if you liked some of the original plans let me know and I can see if I can implement it :)
This antiquities shop later became E.R. Athors lab. And the inventor himself was now the shop owner, instead of being kidnapped. Originally his shop would have been a shack next to the Burger Lord (As a nod to BTTF with docs shack next to the burger king)
I dropped that idea at some point but you can still see the shack. It is just somewhere different. It is now the blacksmith's shop.
Incidentally the Weathermachine quest (and the character E.R. Athor) is a story I pulled entirely from a semi abandoned RPG I never released. So there is this whole back story. The game is called Dark Sea. It may get a real release at some point, thought it may be an entirely different game by then.
Of course this is not the end yet but see how far we have come in one year. Let us see how far we can get in another one :D
I recently started work on ACT III. This last act may take a bit longer, because not only am I going to revamp features or add new ones to the list.
I will revamp ACT I with an intro section showing how it all came to be (The escape from the facility and so on). Act II may also get some changes to make a better pacing though I have no really clear goals on that.
To bridge this time gap I will continue with posting smaller side stories and things for you to do :)

0.33.7 Imposter-LOD and Items in Time Travel
Hey there one of the latest additions is the imposter system. I hope it will get out a bit more frames for the general performance. It is still a bit buggy so I will have to make it a smooth transition. I hope you don't mind for the time being.
This is the actual model
This is an imposter billboard, activated on Distance.
The other noteworthy thing is that items are now tracked through time. So don't worry about forgetting an item (That you must have handled before) in the past or future.
Except boxes.. ye well they will be empty if you forget them (Just a little heads-up)
