Nominate Noch for Steam awards
Dear players! Today we invite you to nominate our game in Steam awards. It will be a huge support for our team and we apreciate your particiopation in our developing journey!
Co-op and Achievements
-Now you don't need to be linked to an EGS account to play Noch. This is true for both single-player and co-op.
-Achievements are working again.
-Some other game bugs have been fixed.
The situation with EGS and broken achievements has taken up a lot of our resources over the past few weeks. Both are very important to the game and all of our resources have been thrown into fixing them.
We are back to regular weekly patches and will try to fix any remaining issues as soon as possible.
Update #3
Better late than never: EGS login is now needed for Co-op only.
We understand the frustration of players regarding linking Noch with EGS. Throughout development we've tried to make login as simple as possible, and the current solution is the least of the evils we've chosen.
-Now you don't need to login to EGS to play single-player game -No Epic Games Launcher or Epic Games Services is required for both co-op and single-player -If you want to play with a friend, you both need to select "Play Co-op" option in the main menu and login to your EGS account via browser -For co-op play you will only need to login to your EGS account once -You don't need to login to your EGS account again if you have already done so
Q: Why do I need to login to EGS? A: The fact that the EGS network is supported at all marketplaces makes cross-play possible for players from different stores
Q: Why was EGS login required for everyone before this update? A: We were experiencing problems integrating the EGS network into the game. Logging to EGS for everyone was the most reliable solution to avoid login problems for most players. It was also assumed that most players would play in co-op mode. Now that we see that this is not the case, we recognize and correct our mistakes
Character getting stuck
There is now a "Respawn" option in the pause menu. The Respawn feature solves most of the problems with a character getting stuck without loading with a checkpoint
Many other bugs have also been fixed in the patch, including:
-Localization bugs -Found collision issues -Problems with optimization of some scenes -Other serious bugs in the game
Other news: Noch Soundtrack coming soon
Many players like Noch's music and we plan to publish the game soundtrack early next week
Update #2
We did another update and fixed some bugs in our precious Noch. Enjoy!
First week update
We have made some corrections and improvements to the game that were not noticed during the release. The patch is already available to users
Full access is available now!
Noch is here! The final chapter of the story is already available on Steam.
We dedicated 3.5 years of our lives to creating this dozen hours of gameplay, and they were not the easiest years.
This game is:
The most complex story we dared to tell
Several hours of voiceovers
One and a half hours of hand-crafted cutscenes
A collaboration with three amazing musical collectives
And a few (hopefully) amusing bugs
Whether we can continue to make narrative cooperative games in the future or not, we don't even know ourselves. We've done everything we could. Now it's your turn. Leave reviews, tell your friends about the game, and share it.
We entrust our fate to the hands of our players.
All the best and thanks for the fish!
Release date announсement!
The final and irreversible release of the Noch, which has been in early access since 2021, will take place on October 1, 2023!
