Noise Hunters

// Update 02: Suit Adjustments

Mevye, we heard you and we have updated your suit's firmware. The changes are:

// WAVE BRIGHTNESS //

  • Added an Epileptic Warning at the start of the game.
  • You can now set the Wave Brightness mode in the Options Menu. The modes are: Subtle (Low), Medium, Standard (high, and the default setting). We hope this will improve your experience playing the game, but, on the other hand, this does not guarantee that it won't trigger any epileptic seizures.

// AIM UPGRADE //

  • Aiming should now be more precise than before. This time, you should be able to hit properly your targets (if you don't miss).
  • A new sensibility option for Aim Mode has been added. If you needed to aim your shot slower or faster, now you can with this change.
  • Looking around should feel more responsive now.

// INPUT TEXTS //

  • Tutorials have been revised and we added input icons with the tutorial texts. No more "do this thing" without input context.
  • Light font changes were made.

We want to remind you that you can always check the controls in the Main Menu or the Pause Menu.

// Facility //

  • The AI fixed some general issues within the facility.
  • We lightly optimised the game.

// Achievements //

  • Collectable Achievements update. They now have more information about the Noise Hunters world. But, almost every achievement modified has now been hidden.

To aid you all completionists, here are the number of collectables in every level:

  • Storage and Garage Facility (Level 1): 2.
  • Control Area (Level 2): 2.
  • Energy Facility (Level 3): 3.
  • Science Construction Area (Level 4): 3.

  • Labs Section-001 (Level 5): 3.
  • Labs Storage (Level 6): 4.
  • Labs Section-002 (Level 7): 3.
  • Labs Section-003 (Level 8): 3.
  • Labs Generators Area (Level 9): 2.
  • Main Core (Level 10): 4.

As a side note, we want to thank you all for the feedback and the support we received. We know the game has some flaws, some bigger than others, and we hope this will fix some of them.

If you want to share your experience with us, please, do reach us out. We are more than happy to hear it. Again, thank you all for the support!

// UPDATE 01

Mevye, we have new information to share with you. Take a look:

// ENEMIES //

  • Predators (melee enemies) are now unable to hit through doors. The Main Core decided to downgrade the proximity sensors in favour of saving resources.
  • Shock particles now stay with the enemies, instead of leaving a electric cloud after shocking an enemy.
  • Predators are now slightly slower, but still fast enough to catch up with Mevye. Keep your guard up!

// Facility //

  • Hexagonal Doors have been fixed and now you are unable to slide through the sides of the doors. Sorry!
  • Laboratories-003 and Lab Generators had issues with their doors, and they have been properly fixed.
  • Embryo tubes now display proper round bubbles.

// Steam //

  • Checked and hotfixed an issue related to the "Deactivation" achievements.

|| Coming up next:

  • Sensibility changes.
  • Input Texts and Icons.

If you find something unusual, please, do reach us out.
Thank you,

- Noise Hunters Team
