17 Years: Happy Birthday, NosTale!
Put on your party hats and light the candles: NosTale is celebrating its 17th birthday! Starting on 30th September, we have a whole range of exciting events, a community competition, and a free mount lined up for you in celebration of this special anniversary. Read on to discover what awaits.
Collectors’ Event
Between 30th September (11 AM) and 23rd October (11 AM CEST), you can find certain event items throughout the world of NosTale. Defeat various monsters to collect the following event items: 17, NosYears. These can be exchanged for the following:
A medal with beneficial effects (once per account)
Grants a buff for 15 days that increases the EXP (for characters, pets and partners), as well as your attack and defence by 10%.
Basic specialist points
A buff that temporarily increases HP and MP
The event items can also be used as recovery items: they regenerate HP and MP.
Great Community Competition
We’re looking for a new background for the character selection screen. Get your creative juices flowing and design some backgrounds which suit the themes of autumn and winter. Please remember that there must be space for the characters in the middle of the image (see below for more details).
The best 10 artworks (5 for the autumn theme, 5 for winter) will win an exclusive XXL NosTale Mousepad. The best artwork of all will even be added to the game and can be admired by all NosPlayers.

Event: Fairy Upgrade
Equip your favourite fairy and give her a major boost with the Fairy Upgrade Event! During the event the chance for successful upgrades will be greatly increased, while the risk of failure is reduced!
Event period: 27th September (11 AM) to 30th September (11 AM CEST)
How Fairy Upgrades Work
The fairy upgrade allows you to give a fairy a random effect, similar to the shells on your equipment.
There are three possible outcomes of an upgrade attempt: success, failure or an overcharge.
Success: Your fairy gets a random effect.
Failure: The materials are consumed, but your fairy doesn’t get an effect.
Overcharge: Your fairy becomes overcharged. A Golden Tool is needed to upgrade further.
After upgrading a fairy, it is soulbound to your character. In addition to a Fairy Bead, you need a certain amount of Perfume to change its owner, depending on the fairy’s upgrade level.
Please note: Fairies which cannot be traded without a Fairy Bead cannot be upgraded (regular fairies, event fairies).
Improved Chances in the Fairy Enchantment Event (+50%)
Between 27th September (11 AM) and 30th September (11 AM CEST), you have an improved chance to reach higher levels when enchanting fairies!
Whenever you enchant a fairy, you can get effects for your fairy with a very high or even a very low level. The levels are divided up from S (highest) to C (lowest). While fairy enchantments cannot fail, you obviously want to get the best possible level you can. This event gives you a greater chance of getting levels S, A and B!

Take on hardcore raids full of terrifying monsters and powerful bosses! You’ll need strategy, determination and teamwork to defeat the merciless opponents. Hardcore raids have increased difficulty and are available in almost all Acts of the game on all servers. Only the most talented of heroes will be able to succeed in them and snatch the precious loot!
Family Level Expansion
Take your family to the next level and tighten the bonds between you! Families can now progress to level 30, with new missions and unique achievements available, waiting to be discovered.
