Actually fixed the tablet bug that was supposed to be fixed like 2 updates ago.
Swapped out the tree model in the forest level for 6 new tree models
Modified the border of the forest level to give more space around one house and fixing the stair clipping too.
Changed how the water looks to look less like a tiny repeated texture. And also reduced speed debuff while walking through water.
Added credits to the main menu.
Swapped out the backend which previous was using il2cpp (Meaning it compiled to c++ then building from that) to the Mono Runtime environment which hopefully will encourage mod developers to create mod for the game with tools like BepInEx or MelonLoader
Anyways I hope to bring more updates to this game, I am still going to be slow at releasing these updates as when I started this project I was working 3 shifts a week at a grocery store with the help of a friend. Now I am working on this by myself with working full time hours currently at my new job.

Holiday "Event" is over, Sorry for the underwhelming event we wanted to include more but just just didn't have the time. We'll be working on expanding the game but it will be a while before another major update gets released.

An update is finally here!
Obama Maze v0.14.0 while not being the much wanted multiplayer update we're finally able to ship the things we've been working on since last year.
What took so long?
Since the v0.14.0 update originally was meant to be the multiplayer update a lot of that has been worked on but the scale of it is too large to implement into this update. We've spent a lot of time on features aren't seen in this update and won't been seen for a few more updates to come. Additionally some features have been improved behind the scenes and improved for development such as the item manager which has been transformed into a way in which creating new items is so much easier than before v0.14. Additionally a language system has been added which while other languages aren't supported at the moment may easily be added into the game by editing a single file in the built version of the game.
Alright so what's in this update?

The pause menu no longer requires 5 seconds to pause.
SNOW EVERYWHERE!!!!!
The internal "cheat mode" detector which disables achievements if the console is used was disabled due to being extremely buggy.
New navmesh blocks in the Forest Maze so Obama no longer can follow you into the river, into / on buildings, or into the backrooms corner.
Redid the bear trap.
Fixed a rare bug where the game would load over twice freezing the game if any other scenes were to play.
Redid backend input.
Fixed a bug where the buttons would overlap on the pause menu making you click the wrong one.
Fixed controller's sensitivity being a lot slower than mouse.
Temporarily removed the content manager. If you would like the trick or treat achievement you can play an older build in the betas tab.
The bear trap now shows you the correct button if using a controller.
Fixed a bug where you can use the tablet without using power. (Thanks InsANepErsoN and TheOg4Skin!)
Bear trap limit is now 3.
The level selector is redone.
New audio mixer.
So much more minor things that I honestly forget.
Now I'd like to conclude this with how im disappointed how little it seems like I've added since a lot of the changes just make development easier and or just isn't released publicly yet. There probably will be some hotfixes as I didn't get very much time to test this version. Hope you enjoy the update.
Update Roadmap for Obama Maze, v0.14, v0.15, and v0.16
So… Yes, we're still working on this game. However, the multiplayer feature, which we understand is what everybody is wanting, may not be included in the next update like we promised. Now we wish we could've included it in the next update, but the size and scale of it makes it worthy to be its own update and not just an addition in v0.14.
So what else is in v0.14?
v0.14 We are dramatically improving many of the systems written two years ago, as our small team in that time has found it difficult to work with those systems, such as the systems that handles Items! Did you know? We originally were going to let the player pick up as many bear traps as they desire! However due to a limitation we only limited it to a single bear trap. We also hope to bring Steam Workshop support to this version of Obama Maze, letting players mess around with the engine, such as creating their own items, creating custom maze layouts and custom AI. We're for sure adding language support, maybe not any other ones than English at the beginning but for sure we'll slowly start translating the game with the help of our community. Now not everything listed here will get added, it’s just our goal if it’s simple enough to do within this update we do want to feature pack the current mazes and make them feel finished.
What will Multiplayer be and when will it come out?
We want multiplayer to include all the original maps where you can either play co-op with your friends, or chase your friends as Obama. Other game modes may be added, but multiplayer will not include any server side mod support. It will include all base game maps, and if the lobby host owns any DLC then you and your friends can play on the DLC maps which support multiplayer. Multiplayer is going to be a big update on its own. v0.16 Is expected to be the multiplayer update but maybe delayed in case we need to.
What’s Update v0.15 Going to be?
v0.15 is expected to be the last polish of Obama Maze and will be the last major update before multiplayer. This should be the version where all the maps are playable and you can reach the ending. If all goes well then v0.16 should be the v1.0 release of Obama Maze, finally releasing us of the curse.

Obama Maze is really rough to develop with a small team, at the moment it’s just Anthony and Logan. We could use help in translation and, if needed, development, we are unsure at the moment but get in contact with us if you’re interested. Another Small Update v0.13.4
Hello folks yet another small update!
Hello yes the game is receiving consistent updates (shocking) and for todays update some minor things are fixed and adjusted.
Changed splash screen slightly.
Increased tablet radar size.
Evicted the backrooms.
Fixed bear traps.
Bear traps now make Obama move slowly rather than stop completely.

Small Update for v0.13.1
Small update. Took a bit longer than I expected which ended up bleeding the Halloween event into November which is fine. As always make sure you report bugs because I am a 1 man army.
Halloween event is over. You can still play the Halloween event in the manage content menu.
Adjusted default music volume so we don't also have to sell you hearing aids.
A little bit of the manage content menu is working. Next update we'll really go ham with making it beautiful.
The next update hopefully will be the big modding update, details will come soon.
Obama Maze v0.13.0 Halloween Update
Hello Obama Hunters!
Today we're releasing the Halloween update which sounding small includes a ton of changes so lets not wait to talk about them.
The Forest Maze
The forest maze has been completely redone. Technically still in development but it has a new layout, new features, new gameplay. Once you boot up the level you'll release that compared to its predecessor its much smaller and more compact. Rather than finding an Obamium once in, a lifetime? You'll find them almost regularly and quickly however that perk also becomes a downside when you realize Obama also gets buffed from making it smaller. Try to outmaneuver and quickly collect all 7 Obamiums and head to your trusty truck.
Obama's New AI
Obama's AI has been rebuilt so that he will no longer ignore his rules and follow his instructions more carefully. Currently this rebuilt system has all the same modes as before: wander, pursuit, and flank. In the future we do plan on explaining it so that he has more modes like a disguise mode, guarding mode, and maybe more.
Halloween Event
This is a small event despite being called the Halloween update. We may update this to be better next year but for now this Halloween event with 3 different endings is what you'll find in this update. After Halloween is over you'll still be able to get the achievement by going into the manage content menu and finding Halloween level.
Now time for some minor changes.
Tutorial Maze has slightly been redone.
Pausing now requires you to hold escape for 5 seconds. Previously you could pause instantly but all the AI, power, and other things wouldn't actually pause. Now everything actually pauses.
Power is now a bar like sprint and both now have icons.
DX12 and Vulkan has been made "supported" you cant actually change them in game currently and the only way to use them is to put either "-force-d3d12" or "-force-vulkan" respectively in your launch options.
Reworked the stars. previous stars has been wiped but they should be easy enough to get back.
Fixed some dodgy colliders
Changed scripting backend.
Achievements have been made for beating the tutorial, falling of the edge of the tutorial, and beating the Halloween event.
Nerdy changes which most people may not understand which I will now list: LOD layers on maze tiles. Swapped from mono to il2cpp. Added a "launcher" doesn't actually open with Steam but in future will start the game forwarding the launch options + graphics api. Updated engine version. Updated render pipeline.
