We've mostly been working on Antibody lately so we can get it onto the default branch as soon as possible, but we took a brief break from that to update Hamster Slide.
Since this patch was looking like it'd be all small tweaks and minor bug fixes for people who haven't opted into the beta branch, we decided to additionally include a new game mode for Hamster Slide: "Hopper" mode is for advanced players, and it involves races with only islands, and no track segments - air control and route-finding are crucial in this race type!
This also begs the question: What other game modes should we add? The next one we have planned is a longjump style competition, where you launch off a huge ramp and avoid midair obstacles to try to jump and glide as far as possible.
The First Patch! v0.1.1 - Motion Controls and Important Fixes
Our first patch for Observatory is now live!
This patch adds Vive motion controller support for all the existing default-branch content, and it fixes some other stuff, too, including the removal of a super nasty audio stutter in the music video. The demo version is updated, too!
