This weekend jump in and play Offensive Combat: Redux! We're holding a tournament where we will be qualifying players for future organized online events. We'll be giving away some Steam Gift Cards and some T-Shirts from our new Spring Collection too!

Patch Notes - April 9, 2018

- Prioritized TDM mode for Play button so new players are put onto teams the majority of the time instead of previous DM priority where new players got demolished
- Removed Christmas theme
- AFK kick enabled - Player is given 60 second countdown timer after 4 minutes of idle time. If the player is still idle after the 60 seconds (5 minutes consecutive idle time total) AFK kicker boots the player and closes the game.
- Moved certain character skins from the store to the vault (still visible in game, but no longer purchasable)
- Fixed Painhouse spawn bug and returned to cycle of playable maps
- Finalized external Tournament System and Leaderboard
- Removed EAC

Tournament This Weekend and Golden Hours

We're setting up our first tournament for OCR this weekend and we hope to get more players in the game. The tournament will run from Friday, 4/20@12:01:01 AM CET until Sunday, 4/22@11:59:59 CET and we'll be rendomly giving out some T-shirts as prizes to people that qualify with at least 20 kills.

We're also looking for streamers that might like to stream with us on a weekly basis. Feel free to drop us a line at: beta@ocredux.com

Golden Hours where we are trying to focus population are 8-11PM CET and 8-11PM PST.

Looking to break our record next weekend!

Hi Everyone - this past weekend, we set a new record in terms of concurrent players with 140. That may not seem like much, but for us, it is awesome and we want to thank you for playing. Next weekend, we're going to be pulling together a tournament, streaming with the devs, and even giving away a few prizes, so check it out!

That's right, it's up and running if you want to jump in and play Disasteroids!

Collision box follows pwning character
Increased weapon FoV for better visibility
Hitbox improvements underway, made crouch less extreme and follow animations. ( thus making the game less susceptible to crouch spamming)
Re-balanced weighted map selection: removed Graveyards boost and increased Painhouse
Increased player strafe speed

FIXES
Minimap works properly on single player modes
Fixed several values on bots in Annihilator modes
Tab + fire no longer ignore weapon spread
Fixed players getting stuck on balcony in Dirty River

Player to player collision temporary disabled due to hitbox improvements

• Fixed auto balancing not functioning correctly in team modes

BALANCING

• Vendetta
o Slightly lowered damage from 21 to 20 and headshot damage from 42 to 40
o Decreased shots per second from 5.7 to 5.6
o Increased spread per shot

• Rebellion
o Increased min damage from 20 to 30 (now does more damage even on the edge of explosion)
o Slightly increased radius from 4.2 to 4.4
o Changed back from timed to explode on contact.

• Flopper
o Decreased flight speed from 40 to 30.
o Decreased damage from 120 to 110.
o Decreased inner damage area (Now requires a more precise throw to get an instant kill)

We have some really great news that we can finally share since everything is confirmed, verified, tested and triple checked. So, we’ve been working on ways to get more people into Offensive Combat: Redux! and have also been focused on our update schedule. In terms of the server population goals we have, Steam has been very helpful in supporting us in rolling out our strategy.

Here’s the news:
You know that next update with Triggermortis and the pumpkin bomb…and a new single player zombie defense mode we didn’t tell anyone about? 😊 Well, we’re ready! Yes, we’re early.

We’re also going to be doing our first major Steam sale at 75% off while we host a Steam Free Weekend for the game starting tomorrow. That means there will be new players in the game, and hopefully a lot of people that played the original Offensive Combat game years ago will see what we’ve been building and how awesome our community is. We also have some exclusive stuff you can only get if you log in and play during the Steam Free Weekend.

All that said, we will be patching the servers tomorrow starting at 6AM PST/2PM CET. It shouldn’t take more than a couple hours at most, but during that time, the servers will be offline. After the update, everyone will need to update their game client.

At 10AM PST/6PM CET, Offensive Combat: Redux! will be free to play for the weekend. If you want to support the game, we’ve made it about as easy as possible since you’ll get to play and then decide if it’s for you.
The Steam Free Weekend ends on Sunday at 1PM PST/9PM CET, and the sale goes until Monday at 10AM PST.
