You probably wonder what’s going on in the Offroad Mechanic Simulator? We know it has been a while since the last devlog so we prepared a fresh batch of in-development information! You can read about it below but also check our devlog video:

The first thing we’d like to share with you is the in-game store. It has been hugely updated to make it more user-friendly. When you enter the store you now have a choice between basic parts, additional parts, and off-road accessories, Everything here is now heavily re-designed, allowing you to sort items by categories and filter them by particular car models. Whenever you add an item to your shopping basket a piece of information is being displayed telling you which cars it can be mounted on. After the purchase additional window pops up to confirm the sale and inform you where exactly the part is now stocked.
We also finished the final iteration of suspension for one of our off-road cars. It now includes all the elements that make up its real-life counterpart. We didn’t skip a single one! All the rods, sleeves, steering knuckles are now included. Another new feature we created is the inventory of each car which is now accessible through its rear door enabling easy access to any equipped items such as a high lift for example.
Forest map, while far from being ready and done, now looks a lot better than in previous game builds with much more dense foliage and better lighting. Along with it, we are already testing the tasks system. As for now, it is represented by very simple panels since we are focusing on the functionality not the looks at this stage of development.
Task system leads us to another new feature we implemented. Now we can:
already damage the car while driving in the wilderness
perform suspension diagnostics in your garage
We are developing two ways of determining car damage in the Offroad Mechanic Simulator. The visual system is still under development but the ability to run computer diagnostics is already working. You are now able to inspect the suspension and check the exact condition of any part.
That’s all we prepared for you in this devlog. We are constantly moving forward, developing and improving the game and we still have months of work ahead of us. Offroad Mechanic Simulator - Devlog II
Greetings, offroad enthusiasts!
It's about time Offroad Mechanic Simulator gets another devlog! Are you ready for another round of insider information, straight from the production line? Then get ready and take a look at the progress we've made!
Equipment and inventory management was the name of the game for us these past few weeks. In Offroad Mechanic Simulator, you deal with inventory not only in your own garage but also out in the wilderness, when you're off on one of our test tracks!
Let's start with what you can mount on your cars. As mentioned in the last devlog, you use a computer to order new parts. After you pay for them, they are available in your garage inventory, meaning that you can walk up to any car and attach new items to it. You can do so via a new, handy menu, which lets you choose the location and type of part you want to install on your vehicle. It's super convenient!
Separately from all this, there is also another inventory that you have access to while driving. During a test ride, you can get out of your car and access said inventory by interacting with the trunk. This lets you access a variety of items that can help you get out from a tight spot. With their help, you can lift your car or attach it to a tree so that you can pull yourself out of some thick mud.
Other than that, the game had numerous quality of life improvements. For example, graphics and audio options have been implemented, as well as new camera options. While driving, the player has a number of new settings, that allow them to choose the perspective they want. There are a few different ones to choose from, such as an overhead camera or a zoom on one of your front wheels.
We also implemented a dependency system. This system prevents the player from tampering with parts that are blocked by other car elements. When a player selects a segment that is blocked, the game will highlight all parts that are connected to it. This will be very convenient when you need to repair a specific element that is buried somewhere deep in the hydraulics.
That's everything for this particular devlog. We are moving forward at a steady pace and can't wait to bring you this exciting, new game. If you have any questions about Offroad Mechanic Simulator, feel free to ask them on our official Discord server: https://discord.gg/wnX4tvhASg
If you are here, then you probably really love the thrilling experience of driving a monstrous 4x4 car through the mud and over the cliffs! Or perhaps, you prefer getting your hands dirty as you work on your vehicle and prepare it for the toughest tracks one can find? Or maybe you never tried either of these things but you would love to find out how it feels like?
Either way, you've come to the right place!
Our game is made for people like you! In Offroad Mechanic Simulator you tinker with various cars to prepare them for incredible challenges. And better yet, you can also take these cars for a spin and drive them yourself. The customization options that await you include modifying your vehicles' appearances, modifying various parts, and replacing them with better ones.
In this devlog, you will find out what we've been up to and what is our progress on the game. So buckle your seat belts and start your engine, because we're about to get started!
At this point in the production, we have a fully functional prototype that is already perfectly playable, though it still needs a lot more work to become the great game we know you deserve.
The garage is practically finished, with all of the essential models already in place. One of the key areas of this workplace is your computer - which is where you can purchase any item you need for your car, all neatly categorized for ease of use. Our graphic designers are putting in extra effort to add even the tiniest of details to every object in the game.
We already have a lot prepared but we're still working on new things. We've recently finished the work on two of the cars that will be available in Offroad Mechanic Simulator. This is just the beginning, as more cars are still being prepared.
Each car can be dismantled and equipped with additional accessories. We've already finished the most essential mechanics regarding this process, such as unscrewing various objects, controlling your camera to effortlessly switch between different objects, and so on.
The driving mechanics are already in place. We worked hard on vehicle physics and we're constantly testing them on various maps, to ensure that every car feels just right. We also implemented a HUD that accurately displays all relevant data regarding your car.
More recently, we also implemented more camera modes in our game. You can, of course, use the traditional first-person perspective where you view the world from behind the wheel. But there are also more cinematic-looking camera modes, perfect for snapping great photos or driving over a particularly nasty bit of terrain.
You can see all of this in action, as we have also prepared a video for this devlog! You can check it out below but be advised, that this game is still in active development. This is pre-alpha footage and it doesn't represent the visual fidelity that we're aiming for.
