In the past, IVECO, the world's largest bus manufacturer, had various brands in the bus sector. Until 2013, this included the Irisbus brand under which IVECO marketed its buses. In 2006, IRISBUS launched its brand new Low Entry coach series. It is based on the CROSSWAY chassis and has a low floor between the doors and a high floor at the rear.
Intended for mixed and versatile use, these new coaches will now find many opportunities for suburban and intercity operations in OMSI, the Omnibus Simulator.

Since the summer of 2020, a very special bus has been travelling through the French city of Rennes in Brittany. This bus is unique because it has only been manufactured once so far. It is an articulated bus, but not a normal bus, but one with electric propulsion: the "Bluebus articulé 18E".
More and more public transport companies are using such buses and trying to achieve the traffic turnaround towards less emissions with them.
Fans of OMSI can now also drive this extraordinary bus in the popular Omnibus simulation and test its performance.
