Hey everyone! Happy April! We want to start off by thanking you all for your support during the Next Fest back in February. We really enjoyed seeing people play it and were happy with the feedback we got. We've also implemented some new features based off of your feedback which we mention a bit later in this update. Governors
Player can now select a governor that has slight gameplay modifiers, pro’s and cons. Increases replayability and adds a bit of fun.
Trade map overview
Trade map now has lines for nice overview of routes.

December Devlog
Happy December everyone! We've been continuing to work hard on the game and want to update you on some of the awesome things we've been working on. We also are excited to share that we plan to be in the next Steam Next Fest in February! What exactly this all will mean, we are still working all the details out on and will update in the new year. Now onto the game updates.
Windmill and bakeries are now animated
Whenever you use the windmills and bakeries, they'll now spring to life showing off some new animations we've been working on! What else do you think we should animate?
Trade map with ships and harbors, as well as tutorial added
We've added in a tutorial for the trade map so you can better understand what exactly you are looking at the first go around. Harbors and ships now show up on the map. The map itself has gotten some updates, like how you can see what you can grow + resource deposits, as well as where harbors and ships are!
Further improvements on building experience
Compared to last devlog the tooltips have been further improved, so players get notified of possible issues before actually building something.
New animal sprites
Here's a look at the adorable animals we've added in! Aren't they just the cutest?!
Lots of quality of life improvements!
Automatic positioning of mines, finding a suitable resource deposit while building a mine, jumping to ships from the trade map, automatic worker tier upgrades, … Too many to mention!

October Devlog Pt. 2
Happy Halloween everyone! We've got another update for you this month on all the awesome stuff we've been working on!
Worker outfits
Now that One More Island is featuring a diverse set of workers it was time to add more outfits. Every occupation deserves its own outfit so we’ve been working hard on that! Don’t you just love the Painter and the Jeweler?!
QA rounds, UX improvements
We’ve been conducting several Quality Assurance rounds recently to make sure we really nail the user interface and to ensure the game is understandable for new players. Here you can see some changes we’re working on wrt building objects - hopefully we can share more next month!
Selection panel: random worker assigning
Who doesn't like those quality-of-life features? Directly assign a random worker for your zone and no longer bother with finding that slacking worker in need of a job!
XS island
If you like a real challenge, try starting on one of the new XS islands! You'll have to make optimal use of your space if you want to get beyond Tier II - oh, and resource deposits are pretty rare as well... Good luck with that!
What’s next?
Further localization - we’ve added several languages, next time we’ll show you how One More Island looks like in Korean or Japanese! We’re keeping the focus on Quality Assurance and a great User Interface! Aside from that we’re squeezing in more late-game content And much more of course!

Happy October everyone! We've been continuing to work hard on the game and want to update you on some of the awesome things we've been working on.
Tutorialization
The friendly Jester will guide you through the first tier, and will introduce new concepts at higher tiers as well.
Fire!
When buildings are poorly maintained there is a small chance they catch fire. Workers will drop everything to put out the fire. And if you forgot to pay your taxes...? Well, the Queen might do something... irrational!
Fog of war and larger ships
Introduced fog of war to increase replayability You need to look for islands with the correct fertilities to expand your empire Oh and did you see the new ships? This Ship has 6 cargo slots!
Zone maintenance sprites + research option
Zones now visually show their maintenance state with new sprites To make maintenance as effective as possible, new research options have been added

Workers can expect new outfits this month More-and-more Tier 4 and 5 visuals are being finalized. Expect the Chocolate Maker soon!
