Summer parkour update hotfix 1

- Fixed an issue that caused some walls to derender in the summer slime blast 4
- Fixed the price of the Tidal Whale in the summer slime blast 4
- Fixed some collision in the summer slime blast 4

The Summer Parkour update is out !

Hey everyone ! The Summer update is here !
And we have a lot of stuff for you !

New TALES MAP: Summer Slime Blast 4



Explore the district of Uchimizu and fight against the toxic slime gang, with a whole lot of new tricks under their goopy sleeves !

NEW FEATURES :

Walljumping and wall gliding !



When near a flat wall, Carol will start gliding on it, pressing the jump button will let you perform a wall jump !


Ledge grab rework !



Now Carol can ledge grab anywhere, as long as the surface is flat enough to grab it !


Carol face remodel !



Little Carol got a facelift, and now look even cuter than before ! We also added new idle animations !


Water based weapons visual effects rework !



All water weapons got updated visual effects, making them look like they actually shoot.... you know.... water....

New Scooter gadget !



The new Summer Slime blast 4 map include a new scooter gadget ! Totally rad !


12 New Weapons !

These new weapons are available in all Summer Slime Blast maps, and scattered in Ragg's shops in the adventure !


Hydra XL: Fire heavy globs of slime with increased headshot damage


Streetart Vortex: This bow fire a piercing swirling paint projectile, and three smaller globs of paint


Power Washer: Fire a constant stream of pressurized water


Bubble Blower: throw giant bouncing bubbles that explode on impact with an enemy


Queensgirl's Rainmaker: a shotgun that can act as a shield if the fire button is held


Burster SR: Fire balloons that burst after a short range


Burster LR: The balloons detonate at a further range, but have a smaller explosion radius


Roller Blade: Shoot out piercing blades of energy drink


Ballpoint Inker: Precision rifle that can be charged to increase it's range, fire ink that can fall down on enemies, dealing headshot damage from above


Janny's Fury: It's a bucket, lol.


Tidal Whale: Shoot out massive waves of water, dealing damage to enemies caught in them


Added 12 New outfits ! These are scattered in Ragg's shop all over the adventure (starting at the swamps)



Added the Summer dress to Ragg's shop in Al-Hibdae


- Improved Loading times
- Lots of Bugfixes

Carol of Narrabia patch 4

- Fixed an issue after the Atlas boss fight causing save loss
- Fixed the Stamina bar being locked at 0
- Reworked the Judicator Revolver: It now fires penetrating high velocity stream of water
- Reworked the Fairy wand: It now fire arching projectile with area of effect damage
- Reworked the Acid Hues (Now renamed Soapy hues): It now fire bouncing bubbles instead of acid ones
- the Protobubbler, sharing projectiles with the acid hues, also fire bouncing bubbles now
- You now have a starting Grenade in all Tales map (except the christmas ones, where you can pick up snowballs)
- Added side Diving animations

Carol of Narrabia Patch 3

- Fixed an issue with save stations
- Fixed an issue on level loading causing a black screen
- (Hopefully) Fixed an issue where abilities and stamina would disapear
- Scissors capacity increased from 5 to 6
- Scissors projectile speed increased
- Scissors spread reduced
- Scissors damage increased from 18 to 20 (60 total)
- Scissors use speed increased

Carol of Narrabia - Patch 2

- Fixed an issue that caused Atlas to be slippery
- Fixed an issue with spawners in the Borealis sea
- Fixed Stamina upgrades not being saved
- Reduced Regeneration elixir duration from 30 s to 20 s
- Added an extra Save station on the pirate boat in Al-Hibdae

- Fixed missing elixir machines in the Chroma falls
- Fixed transition from Inferno Valley to Rusty Canyon

Carol of Narrabia Update !



Here it is, finaly, the big story update !
Welcome to Al-Hibdae, the city of science, magic and knowledge.








Play through the end of chapter 5 and chapter 6: A thousand and one mischiefs !

But to get to the city, Carol will have to ride the Clockwork Express !



We have decided this time to not put new weapons, gadgets and outfits in the patchnote, to leave it as a surprise for players, as we think it's more fun this way !


GAMEPLAY CHANGES:

Now let's get into the big gameplay changes.

- Gadgets and Elixirs have been completly overhauled.
We felt like players were not using gadgets and elixirs to their full potential, and that they felt limited as they had a ressource to take care of, often leading to players waiting for the "right time" to use them, but never actually using them.

-Gadgets work now like abilities:



-Carol can now only carry two gadgets, but both are bound to their own input now ( Q and E for Qwerty keyboards, LB and RB for controllers, use key have been moved to F by default, and weapon swap to the Dpad on controllers.)
-Imagination is gone, now gadgets work on cooldowns, some gadgets having multiple uses
-All gadgets have been adjusted to feel more impactful, into more powerful versions of themselves
-Mana wells and Creafizz machines have been removed



-Imagination shards have been turned into hourglasses that reduce cooldown when picked up
-Imagination expension are now STAMINA EXPENSIONS ! (They all respawned, so you have to find them in levels again)

-Elixirs now have their own slot (R by default, X on controller)
-A lot of elixirs have been merged into shorter, but way more powerful buffs.

-Carol now have her own magic canteen to drink elixirs from.

-After drinking an elixir, you have to charge it up again over time, or by dealing damage to enemies.
-Ragg's no longer sell elixirs, and they are gone from the toybox
-random elixirs machine have been removed from the adventure


-New elixir machine have remplaced them ! Those new machines are free, and let you pick the one you want out of 3 random elixirs, and automaticly fill it
-the New elixir machines have been added to Hunt maps
-Random elixir machines are still available in Tales maps, and Elixirs require more damage to charge after each wave (to balance the power gain the player get)

-Toybox Rework !

-Picked up weapons and gadgets are now automaticly unlocked in the toybox, no need to deposit them
-duplicates have been removed
-Weapons and gadgets abandonned in world are no longer lost
-Weapons and gadgets are now ordered by type in the toybox
-Ragg's no longer sell you items you already own

Misc changes:

The hairdryer got a new model, along with new visual effects

-the hairdryer can no longer headshot, but charge damage was increased to 50
-Melee charge damage have been increased to 60, and spin attack damage to 80
-New model for the Garnet revolver
-New model for the winchesters
-You are now able to go prone and dive in first person mode
-Improved first person animations
-Added extra animations for gadgets in first person
-Some outfits have extra hair physics on them (skater, for exemple)
-this won't be visible to the players, but we have made a new pooling system for projectiles, wich should increase the game performance quite a bit during fights.
-Fixed many many bugs !

Year of the Bunbun patch 1

- Fixed Sentry guns not working
- Fixed the rocket punch in first person breaking Carol arms
- Falling off the map in Lunar Esplanade now deal 25 damage instead of instantly putting you to sleep

Onirism Year of the Bunbun update !

Hey everyone !



Here is a small update to celebrate the Lunar new Year !

New Hunt map: Lunar Esplanade



Fight the corporation on the rooftops of Corpopolis during the lunar new year party !

hunt mode changes:

Soaker category rework


Explosive category starter changed to a grenade launcher


We also reworked every gadget in hunt mode !

Flak Bomb: Bomb that deal damage in a big area for 5 seconds

Ice mines: set up traps that freeze enemies when they come close to them

Electro Punch: Dash foward using a rocket punch, zapping enemies you come in contact with, stunning them for a bit

Sentry gun: Deploy a sentry gun, duh.

Shield Projector: deploy a barrier that last 20 seconds


NEW QUICK MELEE !
if you press the use key when there is nothing around, Carol will throw a quick and weak punch, pushing away enemies, and going squeak, because she got little fists, and it's funny.

- Inferno Valley lighting improvements



- the Hive rocket launcher was reworked to be able to charge up multiple rockets, to fire a barrage
- Fixed switching to FPS mode causing issues when aiming
- Max FOV is now 100 (enjoy motion sickness you weirdos)

- Fixed issue where aiming mid dive would split Carol in half (ouch)
