Operation Theta: Massive content update. New Characters, New Quests, New CATS!
It is finally here! Operation Theta (Content update one). We have added so much to the game from a lot of little changes suggested by you guys in the community to more content with three new characters all of which play VERY differently than anything before in the game. Lets get into it..
New Characters
Three new characters have been added to the game! Each with their own unique ways to play!
Waylyyn: Is a Human member of the USF, She has excellent combat training and is equipped with a laser gun and placeable mines! Instead of building a ship like normal character she has to survive against increasingly difficult wave of enemies to escape the battle zone! With limited health and powerup pickups she will be a nice challenge for veterans of the game.
Oottoo: Oottoo is a Slugula businessman. As such he plans to pay his way out of the battlezone! Ootto can sells debris from the battlefield to one of the three seller npcs on the map to get enough credits to escape! His ship has TWO grappling hooks instead of just one. You have to be able to hodl more to be a suave trader.
Goo: Goo is three characters in one! Goo's Special ability is to 'transform' into other forms to suit its needs. A Goo that can heal, A Brumpor that has a grapple tail and lastly a Golem who weighs a TON and will fall down to the nearest planet pretty quickly and can throw rocks! Goo is from our new game Goo Gladiators, If you haven't checked it out yet you should its free! :)
New Quests
Tons of new quests have been added and over 40 new NPCs and creatures have been added to the game! This includes a new puzzle type where you have to shoot down incoming asteroids coming at your ship!
New Cat Skin
NEW CAT SKIN!!! Some cats also have custom meows depending on their skins as well. On top of new cat skins we have added a ton of other ease of use things such as more info on what certain upgrades actually do and the sort!
Final thoughts
The past year 10 months of Operation Zeta being released have been a whirlwind for me and the Studio as a whole! I love hearing everyone who has enjoyed the game and their thoughts on it. Feel free to let me know if you have any ideas of things you would want to see in future content updates or general just want to say hi. Thank you guys so much for letting me live me dream of making games.

Operation Zeta, Out Now: Adventure and Annihilation Abound!
Hey guys, Operation Zeta is finally out!!! Thank you so much for the support through this past year and a half of Early Access I'm really happy with what OZ has turned into! I wanted to talk some about what this game is and what it means to me.
Here is some background
We’re excited to release Operation Zeta on Steam. It is the second game that follows the mainline story started in our first game Inevitability however you don't need to have played Inevitability to understand what is going on.
Evil mailbox NPC
Operation Zeta is a wacky Gravity action game, We started on OZ back in 2018 Around the time we were ramping up work on our second game, Rekindling, we wanted to have a side project to work on. We worked on it for half (sometimes more) of our work time for the next two years until 2020 when it became our main project. Earlier in 2019 we started doing game development full time so we had plenty more time to devote to our projects.
After four years and a lot of 70+ hour weeks we finally had a game we felt really proud of and happy to share with you guys. Tons of wacky NPCS, wild quests and characters are here to unlock and discover.

Closing Thoughts
Annihilation and adventure abound in Operation Zeta. OZ has been a blast to create over the last 4 years and I couldn't of done it without the support of my close friends and fans. I plan to have a Free DLC with some new characters and tons of new content later this year! As always please let me know what you think of OZ on the Steam Forums, On our Discord, or even with a Steam Review!
Operation Zeta Coming out January 14th!
After about a year and a half of early access OZ is coming out on January 14th! Throughout early access we have gone from a small game with 20 quests that all were pretty similar and 6 playable characters to over 100 quests and 13 playable characters, with so many other improvements.
What full release means
We are shifting the version over to the 1.0 version! What that means is we now feel the game is stable and has enough to justify it coming out of early access. Some fun goodies are in the 1.0 update and you can read about what all that entails here: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1289750/view/3021345332646793083
What the future holds
This is not the end for Operation Zeta! We have at least two free DLC planned in the coming year, as well as tons of other new content and updates. OZ is also coming to consoles, with the first console launch happening on Xbox also on January 14th, The steam version will maintain the same features and updates as the Xbox Version.
Final thoughts
Thank you guys so much for coming with this journey through early access and full release. As always please let me know what you think of the game with reviews here on Steam, on Xbox or on our Discord. I look forward to hearing about your wacky space adventures in Operation Zeta!!!
Here are some cats to celebrate.
Content update: Version 1.0!
Hey guys as we approach our release date (that will be announced super soon ;) ) We have a final build of the game to give you to you guys! This update has a whole ton of new content and polish in it. Here are just a few of the highlights.
Better quest helpers
We have added a ton of indicators and helpful pointers throughout the game. Such as boss monster HP bars, Arrows pointing to enemies that need to be killed, helper indicators on puzzles and much more!
New quests
As with most updates we have added a slew of new quests and NPCS. Above are a few of the new NPCS. Ranger Choi and Cheshire the Cheetah.
Better creature variance
More monster species have been added! As well each planet will now have more than just one monster type per planet. Pictured above is a Brump. They are a bat like creature with a deadly ranged sonar attack. Pictured below is a Frob, They hop around and sling their tongue around to hurt you.
More sounds
In order to make the game feel more polished you will find we have added a lot more sound effects throughout the game as well. All attacks and special attacks now have custom sound effects for them!
Final thoughts
As always guys thank you so much for all the support you have given OZ through Early Access on Steam! It has been a long road and massive learning experience for us.
