Patch 11.56 - Bugfixes & Improvements
We are pushing out a client and server side patch today around 11 AM CST. It includes the following fixes:
Added additional mob spawners to Mugwood and Thorndell Meadow
Updated ambiance sounds for Hollow’s Creek and Thorndell Meadow
Made soldier at bottom of the ramp you speak with to start patrol field escort quests show at all times This should help us track down the problem better for players stuck on Patrol The Fields 2
Fixed issue with market stall items being purchased through auction house sometimes losing metadata This was causing crated treasure maps bought through the auction house that were listed through a market stall to not deliver properly and should be fixed now
This should also fix the problems with some dragons not having the proper meta data (color, size, traits, etc) when sold through market stalls
Updated the gray bard note to orange to help visibility in dark places
Fixed spiderling dye icon and a few other corrupt icons
Fixed orb placement at end of musket barrel on new weapons for the DLC
Updated Razor Wasp hitbox
Added additional client logging to track down Unity exemption bugs
We are spending the upcoming weeks to remove exceptions and errors we are receiving through the new crash reporting we implemented a couple months back
Updated Treasure chest drops to ensure you always receive at least 1 item
We have also pushed out a potential fix yesterday for the escort quest “Patrol the Field II (Side Quest)” that some players have been able to complete while others have not. We are still looking for any more information players can give if they are stuck on that quest not completing.
Thanks!
Mini Story Pack #1: Secrets of Mugwood is now live!
Mini Story Pack #1: Secrets of Mugwood is now live! The Pack can be purchased for $9.99 through the in-game cash shop. To buy it, open your Player Menu, toggle to the tab for the in-game cash shop (piggy bank icon), and select the Secrets of Mugwood icon.
We made the decision to offer the Pack through the cash shop instead of on the Oculus or Steam storefronts so those who play across multiple platforms will only have to purchase the content once. As the purchase will be tied to your account at the Orbus level, the Mini Story Pack content will be accessible to alt characters as well.
After purchasing the Pack, you should receive a quest directing you to speak with Gormina, a new NPC who can be found in Pierre Cenn’s Critter Capture shop. In addition to handing out the overarching quest for the Pack, Gormina will also give you a new tool called the micronizer to help you on your journey. Try out the micronizer in Pierre’s shop to access a mini tutorial version of the shop where you can learn to climb. Once you’ve returned to normal size, it’s time to head out into the overworld to find the first location to shrink down and let the adventure truly begin! As for the rest...we'll let you see for yourself.
The dev team has been hard at work on the Mini Story Pack over the last couple months, and we are excited to finally share these new worlds with you! We look forward to hearing your thoughts on the Pack.
Mini Story Pack #1: Secrets of Mugwood to Launch April 28
Mini Story Pack #1: Secrets of Mugwood will officially launch on Tuesday, April 28th!
Journey into the hidden microsystems of Patreayl where you’ll battle belligerent bugs (and a few monstrous plants) for the fate of a community of sentient lizards. Meet the residents of a quaint mushroom village and try your hand at catching moonflies. Defend a patrol outpost overrun by spiders. And finally find your way through a maze of insect-infested tunnels deep underground in search of a sacred object…
The Pack will be available for $9.99 through the in-game cash shop on launch day. For a more in-depth look at the new mini worlds you’ll be able to explore, check out the trailer above, or any of the Mini Story Pack Spotlight posts below:
We are excited to share this new world with you, and we hope you enjoy exploring it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Killing World Boss Bjorn Stafruite gives you a chance at: * Signet of Bark Ring * Overgrown Bark (World Boss cape) * Bjorn Stafrute Picture Blueprint (Tinkerer Blueprint)
***NOTE: World Bosses require lots of players to kill, and as such, you can see reduced FPS with the amount of players, spells, etc in the area. To increase your FPS, go to your "Player Menu," select the "Settings" tab (gear icon), then select "Graphics" from the top. You can turn off the the VFX for all classes in this tab. It is suggested that you turn these off before arriving.***"
Bonus Luck Event
Been feeling unlucky? Now's your chance to turn it all around! In honor of St. Patrick's Day, the OrbusVR devs are doling out some Bonus Luck in game! The Luck Bonus will increase your overall luck stat by 100 points (which will show updated inside your player stats), boosting your chances of a double fish catch and, of course, loot drop. Your good luck starts Monday, March 16 at noon CST and will run through Wednesday, March 18 at noon CST.
Visit the Festival NPC outside the gates of Highsteppe to start the questline and learn more about Skogronn. Players who finish the questline will receive a cape and a mount, as well as unlock an item of achievement furniture.

We are planning on the Summer and Winter seasons having bigger festivals with more quests and rewards, while the Fall and Spring festivals will be somewhat smaller in comparison.
