Orcs Must Die! 3 is now available!
Orcs Must Die! 3 has arrived! You can pick it up and play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Playstation 5 via backwards compatability, Steam, and with streaming via GeForce NOW.
Orcs Must Die! 3 brings in a new campaign and story, focusing on the Order 20 years after Orcs Must Die! 2. Players will have access to more weapons and traps than ever before to help freeze, boil, dismember, and disintegrate orcs, including the Arcane Dragon, Snow Cannon, and Sawblade Launcher! Play through returning game modes like Weekly Challenges and Endless, or the all new Scramble Mode which pits players against increasingly difficult Orc Armies, with buffs helping out both sides of the fight.
Remember, it's all about one thing: Orcs. Must. Die.

Scramble Mode is coming to Orcs Must Die! 3!
One of the latest and greatest additions to the upcoming Orcs Must Die! 3 release is Scramble Mode, a new game mode where you battle orcs across 5 random levels as both sides escalate in power. In Scramble Mode, you have just one enhanced pool of rift points across all 5 levels, so you will need to carefully choose your buffs, debuffs, and loadouts in order to survive!!
When you first enter Scramble Mode, you will be prompted to make a choice between two different levels, each of which will come with a unique debuff, something to make the Orc army more terrifying. For instance, you might have options like “Lose 10 rift points on death”, “Increase mana cost of all weapons”, “Adds dynamite archers to every wave. Makes dynamite archers stronger”, or some of the dozens of other debuffs available.
The good news is, if you manage to survive the first level with some rift points intact, you will get a choice between three buffs, something to improve your own odds. These are options like “All wall traps do double damage”, “Double your hit points”, “Headshots heal the player”, or one of more than 50 total buffs. After you choose your buff, you once again pick from two more level options, each with their corresponding debuffs. You have the chance to reroll one debuff per tier, but be careful, as you might get stuck with something even tricker to deal with!
This means that by the 5th tier, you will have some combination of 4 buffs, and the orcs will have some combination of 5 debuffs against you - leading to a whole lot of possible combinations each time you run through Scramble Mode. On July 23, you’ll be able to play Orcs Must Die! 3 solo or cooperatively to experience the same great Orc slaying fun from the previous games, along with all new content to make burning, flipping, and skewering Orcs even more exciting! Orcs Must Die! 3 see the return of many classic favorites like Spike Traps, Arrow Walls, and the sweet sound of Max’s voice, before improving it with all new traps, weapons, story, and game modes!
Orcs Must Die! 3 is cranking up the scale with all new War Scenarios where hundreds of Orcs rush at your gates all at once! To help combat these massive waves, new traps exclusive to War Scenarios like the Mega Boom Barrel Launcher and the Giant Flip Trap can be placed outside the castle to help tear through the horde! You’ll also be able to take on returning Weekly Challenge and Endless game modes, along with a new Scramble mode where Warmages and the Orcs get buffs to make every try different! The Order has even come up with some new traps to make the life of a Warmage even more exciting, such as the Acid Geyser and the Sawblade Launcher!

This free-to-play commercial release features classic Orcs Must Die! gameplay players and also heralds the return of head-to-head gameplay in the form of Sabotage, a brand new 3v3 party game mode.

Gamers ready for a trap-snapping, spell-slinging, ogre-spudging good time can look no further than Orcs Must Die! Unchained's new game mode, Sabotage! This fast-paced mode is a totally new way to play. Players assemble a team to defend their rift, but at the same time another team is playing on the same map in some… spooky… alternate dimension or something. These other players can distract your team with spells, minions, and huge bosses to make you lose rift points. But of course, players can pay 'em back by doing the same! The team with the most rift points at the end of the match wins.
